Updated  Chapter 12   Casey’s P.O.V   It had been a rough couple of months with everything that Sophia and I had learned from her mother, but it was slowly getting better. Jessica seemed to be going about her day like normal now, at first she was throwing herself into everything and anything to take her mind off not finding her mate, but now she seemed to be doing much better and actually talking about it. I had spent even more time with Sophia and although I knew I wouldn’t get my memories of her back, I was still trying. I showed her around the territory and we talked for hours on end about our childhood, but I still couldn’t remember us together as kids. She told me about us playing together in the yard, jumping on our beds and laughing together.    “It all sounds so perfect and I wish I could remember, but the memories are just not there.” I said, sighing in frustration. It was annoying that I couldn’t remember her or what we did together and the more she told me the more I felt like a huge part of my life had been taken from me, but then again it had been taken.   “I know you don’t remember and that’s okay, we will make new memories together, sister.” Sophia replied and hugged me after sensing my frustration not only with the people who did this to me, but also myself.   “Besides, imagine how much fun we are going to have. We will goof around, play tricks on our mates and get in trouble with them, we will make prank phone calls and have pillow fights. We will play pranks on everyone and we just might get into trouble, but that won’t matter because we will be together. Plus I am sure we can recruit my niece, Robin, into it as well.” Sophia said, making both of us laugh. It sounded great, perfect in fact and I would enjoy doing everything with my sister, even getting into trouble. The first time she met Robin she melted and as soon as my daughter called her Auntie she immediately had Sophia wrapped around her little finger. It was such an emotional, yet beautiful moment and it would be one that I would cherish forever. The more time Sophia and I spent together the stronger our bond was getting.      Sophia’s P.O.V   Casey and I had been together for three months now and as promised we caused a lot of trouble, especially for our mates, but it was now the day of my graduation and we had to be on our best behaviour. Alpha Ron and Luna Kacey were really lovely and treated me as one of their own, they even both agreed that this was a very special occasion and they wanted to have a celebration with the whole pack and my dad. We had made all the arrangements and when I graduated my dad, Casey, Ryan, Robin, Guss, Luna Kacey, Alpha Ron, Katherine and her mate Terry were all in the audience, cheering and clapping for me. I was blushing a deep shade of red, but the smile on my face went from ear to ear and they knew that I was truly happy. After the graduation we all returned to the pack house to the party. Everyone was enjoying themselves, but my dad seemed really distant, like he had a lot on his mind that was distracting him. We were all in the dining room, eating, laughing and talking, but although my dad was smiling I could tell that he was upset.   “Dad, what did mom say to you that has made you so sad?” I asked, sitting next to him.   “It's nothing, sweetheart. Let's celebrate your graduation.” My dad replied, smiling at me.   “It's not nothing, you’re really distant and I know that whatever she said is playing on your mind, so what did she say?” I asked, pressing him to tell me and unload the burden on his mind and heart. My dad sighed, but I knew he was admitting defeat and giving into my request.   “She….she told me that I wasn’t her real mate. All these years I spent thinking she was mine and I was hers, but she tricked me into thinking that. My real mate is out there somewhere, wondering where I am and why we haven’t found her yet, but what do I say to her?” My dad replied, shocking me. It broke my heart that all this time he had loved someone who was never his mate, who tricked him into believing all of her lies.   “I wouldn’t change a thing about it though.” My dad said, making my head snap up to look at him.   “What do you mean you wouldn’t change a thing? She lied to you and you spent all this time without your true mate.” I asked, confused.   “Because without her I would never have had you and you are the most precious thing in my life. I would never change a thing because you are my daughter and I love you with all of my heart. My mate is out there somewhere and now I will start searching for her.” My dad replied and I looked at him sadly.   “It's okay, dad, I understand. At least you are here to celebrate with me and just wait until you meet my new friends Megan and Jessica.” I said and he nodded smiling at me. He seemed to have had a weight lifted off his shoulders just from talking about it, but I knew he was still sad about his mate.    Alpha Mark’s P.O.V   It felt good to talk to Sophia about this, but I also felt guilty for putting this on her. She smiled sadly at me and that broke my heart, but then she smiled brightly when she mentioned her new friends and that made me feel better. Just then I smelled this amazingly intoxicating smell of sunflowers and roses, that drove me and my wolf wild. I turned and looked everywhere to see where it was coming from and saw that two women had walked into the dining hall, but then my eyes landed on the most beautiful creature I had ever seen. She had long dark hair that was braided on the side and her eyes were the brightest green I had ever seen. We locked eyes and it was like the rest of the world slipped away as she walked right to me with the prettiest smile.   “I have been looking for you everywhere, where have you been? I looked forever and a day.” She asked and I just chuckled and smiled back at her.   “I love that song.” I replied and my daughter smiled because she knew exactly what was happening. I had finally found my true mate and she was perfect, better than anything I could have ever imagined.   “Daddy, you finally found her, don’t let her go ever.” Sophia whispered as she leaned closer to me. I hugged my daughter and smiled at her.   “Never my sweet child, never.” I replied and I meant it.   “Well, I think introductions are in order. Dad this is my friend Jessica, Jessica, this is my dad, Alpha Mark.” Sophia said, introducing us and the sound of her name made me smile.    “Shall we.” I said, holding my hand out for her. She nodded and took my hand, as I led her out to the balcony. I wrapped my arm around her waist when we got there and looked into her mesmerising eyes.   “I’m so sorry I was late finding you, but now I have you I am never letting you go.” I said, holding her closer to me.   “What happened that you weren’t able to find me, I mean your Sophia’s dad and your pack is only an hour away from here, so how come we never found each other?” Jessica asked and I sighed. I told her everything that had happened when Casey came to see Sophia and how I found out about Bonnie not being my true mate and that she tricked me. I told her that I rejected her as not only my Luna, but also my mate and that she was now in the cells in my pack. I also told her that I didn’t regret what happened totally as I never would have had Sophia and that she was my world. Jessica listened to my story and then she looked at me with sad eyes as her hand caressed the side of my face.   “Shhh, I am here now and we are together. What's done is done and I am never letting you go either. I am friends with Sophia, she is a great girl and I will treat her as if she is my own pup. I will never let anything happen to her.” Jessica replied and I chuckled.   “Spoken like a true Luna.” I said and her eyes lit up as she reached up to kiss my cheek.   Casey’s P.O.V   Sophia, Katherine, Bella and I were watching the events unfold with Alpha Mark and Jessica and we were all so happy for them.   “You know she went from one country to another, looking for her mate and all along he was right here, just a mere hour away from her. Just look at them, they seem like they have known each other forever.” I said and they all nodded in agreement.    “I hate my mother for tricking him into believing they were mates, but then like my dad said, he would never have me if she didn’t. Now here we are and besides, if you didn’t come that day I would never have met my mate Guss.” Sophia replied and Katherine began to look at her weirdly, moving her head from side to side.   “I don’t see a mark yet? What’s going on?” Katherine asked, making me laugh and Sophia blush.   “I wasn’t ready to mate and mark each other yet, in all honesty I’m a little nervous, but I think tonight is the night. I’m still a little nervous, but my wolf won’t shut up.” Sophia replied, making all of us smile in understanding.   “Yeah, they will do that and I think that sometimes the wolf wants it more than we do at times.” Katherine said and we all started laughing. We carried on watching as the crowd danced and had fun.   Unknown’s P.O.V   I watched them having so much fun and they looked so carefree, but now they were together it would be easier to get them both. My second knew what I was thinking and quickly shook his head, grabbing my elbow.   “Not now, Kale, let's just get one. When they go for a run we will get one of them and then we will get the other, that way they can’t use their powers. You need to think about this because if they use their powers they will kill all of us.” He said, annoying me, but I knew he was right.   “Fine, Giff, but I want them as soon as possible.” I replied, stepping back a little so I could carry on watching them.
