The relief I felt when Madison awoke was immense. I hope I never have to worry like this again over my mate, though knowing Madison, this won’t be the last time I will be sitting in a hospital chair, waiting for her to wake up.

The three of us leave the hospital, and the Deep Earth pack, with a few warm hugs and well wishes and promises of catching up again soon, and some of the others will see us at the up-and-coming ball.
