Madison POV
The sound of a rhythmic beep slowly dragged me out of the deepest sleep I had in a while, and that beep was starting to annoy me. I groaned as I tried to open my eyes and a bright light made me shut them immediately.
A movement to my side makes me open them a little bit again and shut them down.
‘Let me dime those lights.’ A woman’s voice sounded softly to my left. She must have noticed me opening and shutting my eyes quickly.
When the lights dimmed, I opened them, and the movement to my right moved again.
I looked to my right and saw my mate trying to move away from me as gently as he could.
‘Hey.’ I say to him, and his concerned face softens.
