Madison POV
I woke up to my wolf calling me to wake up. This is something she rarely does. It was very early in the morning, so I slept all afternoon and most of the night. Zane was not in bed with me and the bed on his side was cold, and I wondered if he slept somewhere else or had not slept at all. Follow in my mind. To where my wolf is urging me to go, I am surprised she has led me to Alpha’s door.
I go to knock, but my wolf says ‘No, go in.’. I nod internally, and I gently push the door open.
Walking in, the room was dark, as expected for this time of night. I didn’t sense anyone else in the room, except for Alpha, rolling around and moaning in bed.
I quickly walked over to the bed and saw Alpha sweating. His eyes were open, and they suddenly turned and looked at me, pleadingly,
