CHAPTER 6

It was 7:30 a.m. and Lilianna was dressed and ready to go.
She didn't go for a run this morning. Instead she washed her hair and shaved.
She was dressed in a short cream dress that stopped just below her knees and was sleeveless.
She grabbed her purse that held her phone and some money.
Oliver wasn't outside so she walked to his room and knocked on the door.
After a few minutes of waiting, he finally opened the door.
"I'm ready." Lilianna said, taking a deep breath.
Oliver nodded his head and stepped his room.
He was dressed in a dark navy-blue suit and his hair was combed back.
"Ok, let's go." Oliver sighed and placed his hand on her back.
They left the hotel room and rode down to the lobby.
It was kind of cloudy today and as they got into the car, it started to drizzle.
The ride to Seriana's house was nerve breaking. Lilianna's nerves were all over the place and the butterflies.
Oliver was silent beside just simply looking out the window.
When they finally pulled up to their house, Lilianna didn't get out.
"Having second thoughts?" Oliver asked,
"No." Lilianna said, shaking her head.
The door was opened for her and she stepped out.
"I'll be picking you up in six hours. Use your time wisely." Oliver said,
Lilianna nodded her head and turned around. She took a deep breath and walked to the front door.
The jeep was still parked outside, but after a few moments it drove off.
"You can do this" She told herself and knocked.
It was a moment before someone opened and the door and when Lilianna looked up, it was Daniel.
"Dan." She sighed,
He just stared at her u shock which was completely understandable.
"L-Lilianna." He said after remaining silent.
"Yeah, it's me." She said, laughing lightly.
The cup he was holding, dropped to the floor as he grabbed her and pulled her into a hug.
"Oh god, it's really you." He said,
"Dan, what was that noise?" Seriana asking, walking to the door.
Dan and Lilianna pulled away and Lilianna smiled at Seriana.
"Oh, great you're here. I need help making the dip and you're the only one that can make it." Seriana said and kissed Lilianna's cheek.
Lilianna simply stared at her in shock, although it should've been the other way around.
"What are you both doing standing there. We have a dinner to have." Seriana said and walked to the kitchen.
"What?" Lilianna asked,
"Come on, I'll explain it all to you." Dan said and pulled outside.
He closed the door and they sat down on the hammock. They were silent, sitting beside each other.
"What happened to you, Lilianna? You've been gone for two years and suddenly you show up on our doorstep?" Dan asked,
Lilianna sighed and sat back.
"I know, I'm sorry. There really isn't much I can tell because I made you a deal, but I-I just need at least someone to understand." Lilianna said,
"Two years ago, I was taken from the café. I've been living in Italy for past two years and I'm sorry for not contacting you and telling that I was ok. Oh, and I'm now married." Lilianna said,
Dan was silently for a moment before finally saying something.
"Wow. I didn't know." He said slowly,
"I know, it's not your fault." Lilianna said, resting a hand on his shoulder.
"Seriana, she was obsessed in finding you. She was convinced that you were taken and that it was her job to find you. We spent months looking for, Nicoli also helped a lot. God those two became Starsky and Hutch." Dan said, laughing lightly.
"A year after your disappearance, Seriana woke up, rambling about having a dream about you. She said she knew where you were and before I could stop her, she left." Dan said,
He took a deep breath before continuing.
"Two days later I got a call from the hospital saying that I need to come down immediately. She was in a car accident. She had hit another car and since she didn't have on her seatbelt, she flew out the window. She lost all her memory for the past year and a half." Dan said,
"All she remembers is you being here with us. I didn't have the heart to tell her the truth because I couldn't bear to see her go through the pain again." Dan said,

Lilianna awkwardly sat in the living room that she sat in for so many years. Except this time, she was watching her best friend, Seriana talk about one of her cases.
It was like a normal day and they were talking like always.
"Lili, are you sure you're alright, you seem kind of pale and you drank all your wine." Seriana said, pausing her ramble.
"Y-Yeah. Please continue." She mumbled and nodded her head.
Dan was in the kitchen preparing the meal. His choice.
"Anyway, Nicoli should be here any minute with Carina, Sana, and Forest." Seriana said,
Lilianna was both excited and nervous to see them. It's not like they also were in a car accident and forgot about her.
Lilianna talked and played with Nicky and Mickey and somewhat exploded to Sophie about her disappearance.
"Bad news guys. Nicoli and everyone can't make today. The storm is getting worse and many have been blocked. It's just us tonight." Seriana said, walking into the room.
Lilianna was relieved of that. She wasn't exactly ready to see Nicoli after so long and it might raise questions with Seriana not knowing and them demanding questions. It would be best if she saw them when Seriana wasn't around.
Lilianna frowned and looked down at her hands. She was looking forward to seeing them again.
Seriana nodded her head and Lilianna continued to play with the boys.
The food was finally ready, and everyone was called to the table.
They spent the entire time talking and laughing. To Seriana and the boys, it was an ordinary day of family moments, but for Lilianna, Dan, and Sophie it was seeing each other after so long and catching up.
It seemed to fly and before Lilianna knew it, Oliver sent her a text saying he was picking her up in twenty minutes.
She sighed, putting her phone away.
Seriana was giving the boys a bath before bed and Dan was in the kitchen putting the plates away.
"Dan, how's my father?" She asked, leaning against the counter.
"He's better. He's staying at your place and a nurse is taking care of him there. I don't know why, but when we told him you were gone, he didn't seem surprised. He was quiet and kept to himself." Dan explained,
"That's weird." Lilianna said and Dan nodded his head.
"I'm glad that you're back. I'm sure if Seriana remembered, she would've carried your ass to hell and back." Dan said and they both laughed nodding.
"Yeah... I feel so bad." Lilianna said,
"Don't worry. It wasn't your fault. Whatever happened to you must have been big and don't worry. Even though I don't completely understand everything, just know I'm here for you." Dan said,
Lilianna smiled and stood up to hug him.
Suddenly Seriana walked in.
"Lilianna, there's some man outside for you." Seriana said,
It didn't take a genius to know that the person was Oliver.
"I guess, it's time to leave, but see you guys really soon." Lilianna said,
Seriana nodded her head and hugged her.
Dan walked Lilianna to the door and a tall was waiting there with an umbrella.
"Tell the boys I said have a good night and give them a kiss." Lilianna said,
"Ok. Bye." Dan said and waved and her.
She waved back and walked to the car with the man covering her from the heavy rain.
She got in the back of course Oliver was there waiting for her.
Neither talked as they pulled away and rode back to the hotel.
When they got to the hotel, Lilianna got out and went straight to her room.
Once she was in much more comfortable clothes, she walked out to see Oliver watching TV.
She sighed and sat at the very edge, pulling her feet up
"Tomorrow, you will be accompanying me to a meeting." Oliver spoke out,
"Whatever." Lilianna mumbled,
They stayed there for the rest of the night watching tv, but not paying attention.
