6. couldn't get any worse.

The line went dead. I was quiet for a while I didn't know what to say. He had to humiliate me like that why did he have to be quiet about it.

Everyone's intense stare was on me. No one dared to react or say a single word. What disturbed me was the expression of amusement on Kade's face. That bustard.

" I guess I did my dare too. May we continue." my voice faltered. Dad rubbed my back comforting me. It was no wonder I chose to sit next to him.

" Don't worry Ara, you will meet a better man one who deserves you. " He whispered to me.

I grinned and instantly felt better. Our game continued, it was dad's turn to pick a never have I ever.

"Never have I ever drunk dialled my ex."

I instantly blushed and took a dare from the box. Shortly Liam, Kade, Noah, and Stella also picked a card. I looked at Kade, and his intense gaze was already on me. We both knew why we picked that card, we have both drunk dialled each other before.

Stella looked at me with a frown on her face I knew she would attack me. " Wait you also get drunk and I thought you were the good child." She started at me.

I rolled my eyes, " oh please Stella that's something you already know." I shot back.

" Well yeah though which ex did drunk dial?" She dragged her gaze to Kade slowly. " oh I see!"

" Even If Kade didn't pick a dare I would have still picked one. Kade ain't the only ex you know. That's why I said I will meet someone again." I stated confidently.

Stella rolled her eyes at me. I quirked my brow challenging her.

" Geez just read your dares. " Kade growled out. He sounded angry and frustrated. I couldn't help but say the truth. He needed to understand that I meant what I said.

" I have been dared to serve you all some drinks. " Noah spoke up. We all chuckled.

" Yes bring us those refreshments I am thirsty over here. " Mum told him gesturing for him to go.

He hung his head low and walked to the kitchen.

"Ah s**t, I have been dared to give a foot massage to the person sitting next to meet. " Liam spoke up, with a deep frown on his face.

I snickered at him, he briefly glance at mum then her feet and his face instantly changed. That was enough to have me laughing.

Mum being her dramatic self put her legs over his thighs. Just in time, the refreshments came through and we each got a bottle.

Liam began to massage mum, I smirked in his direction.

" I have been dared to send $500 to mum. Mum! " Stella sulked, she pursed her lips and huffed.

Mum shrugged." You did it why can't I do it too. Now send the money. "

Only Kada and I were left with Dares.

I heard my phone ring and when I checked who was calling, it was Levi. I took a deep breath in. I couldn't decide whether to pick it up or not. Why didn't he say something then why call now?

" Just ignore him, sweety " Dad cooled in. I loved the tight bond I had with him. " He shouldn't have gone quite like that you deserve better."

I felt when it came to dad no man was perfect for me, his favourite phrase around me was always you deserve better.

I read the paper and it said I was dared to kiss my ex. I glanced at Kada who was busy looking at his dare. I felt powerless, how can I kiss someone I hated.

"I have been dared to show everyone the most embarrassing picture of me." He chuckled then held his chin. He took out his latest iPhone. " This won't be pretty but a dare is a dare no backing out. " He stated firmly. I felt like he already knew what my dare was and was rubbing it in that I couldn't back out. Damn, I was screwed.

Why did I have to pick the worst dares there were?

Kade clicked on his phone and showed us a picture of himself back when he was in his younger teens. He looked all scruffy and was covered in mud. He was inside a house and someone took that picture of him. We all laughed and were awed at how cute he was.

After he showed them everyone then looked at me expectantly. I froze I didn't know what to do or say. The paper was cramped up in my palms, and Stella was quick to snatch it away from me. She looked between me and Kade.

She smirked, " It doesn't get better than this." She clapped her hands once.

" Read it, Stella, we all want to know," Noah told Stella. I glared at him but didn't even pay attention to me.

"She has been dared to kiss her ex," Stella said loud enough for everyone. I facepalmed myself. I couldn't do this. I was ready to back out but the rules were the rules.

I needed to be smart about his, I confidently stood up from my seat and walked to Lucian. He smirked, I could almost feel his happiness. Well, he will get disappointed. He too stood up and we met in the middle he raised his arm and made the attempt to hold my forearm, I bumped his hand away.

" Don't touch me!" I snapped at him. He chuckled he found this amusing and that made me more upset.

I grabbed his collar and pulled him towards me. I pecked his lips, and the moment my lips touched his there was a joint of electricity like igniting a dying fire, I hated this feeling not when it was coming from him. I quickly pulled away from him. His eyes went wide. " That's it!" he yelled, frustration clear on his face.

" Yeah, it only said kiss and a peck on your lips is a kiss too. " I wiped my lips and everyone saw this. I didn't try to be subtle about it, I wanted it to hurt him and from the look on his face, it did.

He didn't argue more instead he sat back in his seat and was quiet from there.

" I think we have played this game too much. It's almost dinner time, your dad has to go and cook for us. " Mum said.

That's how the game was cut. I had a good time I couldn't lie after being away from them for such a great time.

The guys scattered and left the place, I stood up and went to my old room. The room I occupied whenever I visited. It was always the way I left it. I chose a grey and green colour for it. The walls had some flower art painted on them. I had a small bookshelf that usually contained work documents I left behind whenever I was her. It had a joint bathroom that had a shower in it. My old room also had a walked in wardrobe that contained clothes that I rarely touched.

I walked into the bathroom and took a quick shower then I got changed into some simple pyjama shorts and a large t-shirt that I got from one of my exes.

I walked down the stairs to the dining area, and instantly the smell of delicious food engulfed me. My stomach growled, and I put my hand over it. Luckily dad was already done cooking. He was an excellent cook that was for sure even better than mum. No wonder none of us was worried when he got the dare.

We all gather at the table gave thanks and began to eat. Surprisingly it was quite none of us who said a single thing. Dinner was over and I sat on the couch in front of the tv. My phone dinged and I realised Levi had left me tones of messages. I was about to open them when my phone was snatched from my palms.

I looked at the one who had done such a thing and it was Kade I glared at him.

" Bring back my phone Kade. " I said calmly. Most people said I sounded deadly when I didn't snap at the person cause no one could anticipate what I would do next.

I was already frustrated with seeing him here and for some odd reason, he had to be everywhere I was. This house was just too big for that.

" And what if I don't?" He raised his eyebrow challengingly.

He didn't want to go down that route with me. Liam walked into the room, he looked between Kade and me then looked away like nothing was going on, he took a seat too and focused on the TV.

"You know what Kade, I am tired of seeing you here. Worse you have to go and provoke me. My phone has nothing to do with you, it's my phone, my privacy. Moreover you are this rich billionaire who can easily stay at any place he wants to and yet you still chose to come here. Right when I was here too." I complained. My voice was deep from all the complaining.

" Too bad sis you have to give him a ride to work tomorrow cause his car broke down and your companies ain't far from each other. " Liam mumbled. This day couldn't get any worse.

" I ain't riding with him borrow him your car, you take him to work I don't care."

Kade huffed but chose to keep quiet. He shortly gave me the phone. I quickly opened the text from Levi and I was crushed. It was like he was rubbing alcohol on my deep wound. I felt my heart break into million pieces. Here I was breaking apart in front of the man who broke me apart. I didn't even bother to hide the hurt that was clear on my face.

' I am sorry, I can't just see you the way I see Tori she is the only one I love. I proposed marriage to her and was hoping you would be her bridesmaid cause that is something I have always wanted for you to be my wife's bridesmaid. "

Tears streamed down my cheeks even before I could stop them. I knew this would happen but my heart chose not to listen.
