Arabelle I was in my mustang seated on the passenger's seat as Kade drove us back to New York. I had enjoyed the previous day I made the most of it and that is what mattered. I glanced at Kade, he held the staring wheel like he owned the damn car. He looked cocky and sexy there was no denying that. " You can take a picture love, it will last longer," he smirked as he continued to stare right ahead. I glared at the side of his face even though my cheeks would have been tainted pink by now. He glanced at me and chuckled. " You look cute when you are angry. " He grinned, his perfect set teeth were on display. " like I care what you say. " He didn't reply only smiled. I couldn't believe I ended up coming with him. Kade was stubborn and irritating sometimes. I was hell-bent on leaving him behind, but boy did he fight to be here. And now that he was we were both here we were not talking to each other. After reading Levi's message last night I broke down, irony Kade and Liam were the ones to comfort me and help me get through it. Though I could tell Kade was angered by the text, especially when he read the part that Levi wanted me to be his bridesmaid. How cruel was that such a sick joke. " You can marry me too if you want to." Kade suddenly spoke up, I frowned then slowly turned to look at him. As if he was insane. I huffed then looked back at the road. "What?" he grinned, then glanced in my direction for a brief moment as he beat his finger on the staring wheel creating a random beat. " In your dreams Kade in your dreams." His building was in sight, I checked the time and it was seven-thirty. I smiled he made it in record time now I wouldn't have to see that face again. I was thankful he didn't bring the Levi issue up. We walked out of the car I went to the driver's side, I got in while remaining standing. He peeped at me through the window. " It was a pleasure, have a good day. " I said to him. My engine rolled to life and I smiled, I loved the sound. I drove off even before he could utter a word whatever he wanted to say he would swallow it. I made it to my office just in time, I was so happy I wasn't late I was sure I had a lot of work to do. I sat in my office the place I felt comfortable. I was scrolling through files and checking reports. I noticed something I had not noticed before. They were was a crippling cash flow. I knew things would get ugly from here. But how didn't I notice this before? I called my assistant Jacob and he came rushing in. " Ms Miller, I am here. " He stood in front of my desk, he was shaking like he knew I found out about the screw-up. "What is that I am seeing in the reports?" I asked him. My voice was firm and I was mad. "Ms Miller, I tried to control the cashflow but we ended up in depts the company we get the oil from before it is refined had increased its prices but we needed to get that oil and I gave you documents concerning the signing of getting oil on depts and failure to pay you would sell part of the company. It was a good strategy but the prices went down right after that the loss we made." He explained, his legs shaking as he spoke. I felt rage deep inside that kind of rage where I was afraid if I reacted I would do and say terrible things to Jacob. " Wow. " I leaned my face on my palms. " So what you are saying that now that the debt isn't paid I had to give up part of the company. Everything that I worked for Jacob. I signed the file cause I trusted everything that comes from you but look where it had gotten me." I pictured how my life would be without my company and that is a route I wasn't ready to take. I didn't know how I could correct this issue. I felt stuck between a rock and hard place. I got all the files once more and the more I looked the more things got worse. I was going to lose my company right when life got better for me and my family. I began to breathe in and out slowly. I was having a panic attack. I blinked back the tears that wanted to fall, crying wouldn't solve anything. I had to toughen it out. I knew who I had to go to and see the only one who could help me solve this crisis was him. The best businessman in New York, he was the last person I wanted to see but I had no choice. I quickly grabbed all the files put them in one bag and began to walk out. I paused at the door. " Oh and Jacob, you are fired. " I walked out everyone looked at me as I walked out. They knew I was their boss but weren't allowed to say something to the press I didn't want the paparazzi to come streaming here. I took the back door to the company garage as I always did. None of them suspected it was me. I quickly drove to Kade's company. I saw Grace behind her desk she was typing away on her phone with a serious expression, the conversation she was having must be intense. She looked up and her face lit up, I failed to smile in her direction the crisis I was going through was eating me up. She noticed this and her smile dropped. " He is in his office. " She instructed me even though I had not asked her. I mouthed her a thank you. I walked to the elevator and pressed the button for the last floor. I felt like I was wasting time being in the elevator. I heard the ding sound and I quickly walked out. The pumps I wore created a thumping sound with each step I took. I knocked once and opened the door before he could even answer. " Don't enter before I!! oh!" I raised my eyebrows at him and he swallowed hard. I walked and sat on the chair that was in front of his mahogany desk. He gave me a questioning stare I bet he was surprised as to why I was here, I showed up without even calling to let him know. " To what do I owe the pleasure?" he asked, his lips turning up into a sinister smirk. I was about to strike back with a strong comeback instead I bit my tongue. If I needed his help then I would have to watch what I said to him. " I need your help this once, I have a big problem in my company. I brought the files and all documents needed with me so that you would take a look at them. " I took the documents out of my bag and put them in front of him. I smothered the black short skirt I was wearing. I began to pick on my nails. Kade got the papers and began to read paper by paper. He sure did take his precious time. " You don't only have a big problem, your problem is huge Ara. You are losing your company. " I felt like he drove the knife in, I knew things were bad and I chose not to believe it. " Can't you help me fix the issue?" I asked him. " Yeah I can help but something that huge comes with a huge cost Ara." He stated. " What cost are we talking about here?" I asked. I felt uneasy about all this. " Uh, such a cost Ara the only way I can help you is if you agree to marry me." I began to laugh. I felt like he was joking until I saw the dead-serious expression on his face. " I ain't joking around Ara, you know I have always wanted you and the only way I am helping your company come out of the tunnel it is leading to, is if you marry me." " You must be crazy Kade." I snapped at him. " I will give you time to think about it. It's all up to you. When you are ready to make a decision you should tell me."
