Pieces of heaven

I have been trying to find the perfect opportunity for so long to ask Alexis's hand. I bought the ring a few months ago. I supposed that Alexis would like to have a traditional human wedding. We were married in the eyes of the Pack, we also had a tiny bond ceremony with our closest family but that was a lot different from what humans do. Each time we watched a movie and there was a wedding scene on it or a proposal scene, I saw Alexis watching it with dreamy eyes. I also felt her calm and happy feelings at those times. Although she never asked for a wedding I wanted to be the kind of mate that knows what his love desires. When I decided to give the bath to the kids I still had no idea I will ask her hand. Honestly, all that I was thinking about was that I will be able to play with those rubber ducks without looking like a complete i***t. I ran the bathtub full and we made lots of foam into it. When all the water was totally covered we jumped in and had the time of our lives. I loved spending time with my pups so much that sometimes I wished I wasn't an Alpha with all the responsibilities. Lately, all I wanted was to spend time with them and with their wonderful mom. Alexis was now even more breathtaking than when I first saw her. Since our pups are born she cut her long wavy hair and now it almost touched her shoulders. In the first few months, her hair stuck in everything and made her frustrated. But I loved her new look, honestly, it made her look younger than she actually was. Her figure was even more beautiful than before the kids. I had a wonder woman as my mate. Not just because of her special wolf, but she managed to take care of the kids, her Luna obligations, she also helped me with business, she still cured animals sometimes and trained with the pack. Alexis was just simply amazing. Asher got me in a weak moment when I was daydreaming about their mom and made a mess out of my hairstyling it with foam, while Rory did the same with my beard. I noticed that I got outnumbered and it didn't matter how I said none of my pups wanted to get out of the bathtub.

- Kids come on! The water is getting cold.

- We don't want to get out! - Rory said.

- Yes, we are having too much fun to end it now! - Asher added. I knew I needed my secret weapon and I mind-linked Alexis to come and rescue me. It was still hard to believe that before they were born they only stopped kicking Alexis when I told them and since they born it didn't matter that I was the Alpha. What she said was done. When she finally came to my rescue and I saw her being absolutely adorable with our kids I knew it was time to ask her. My heartbeat thousands of beats per second while I waited for her answer which seemed like an eternity. She extended her hand and I pulled the ring on it.

- We did it! - Diesel howled in my mind and Alexis jumped on my neck screaming.

- Million times yes! - we shared a passionate kiss and walked to our pups' room. They felt our excitement. Rory noticed the ring on Alexis's finger while we climbed into their bed. Our pups refused to sleep in separated beds. So we made a king-size bed for them with different colored sheets and pillowcases. Every night after bath time we used to get in their bed on each side and read a bedtime story for them. It was the best time of the day for me. So this night when Alexis held the book with her left hand on Rory's side and, our daughter's eyes opened wide.

- Mommy what is that? - she asked pointing at the ring.

- An engagement ring.

- Wow! It looks like a pirate treasure! - Asher shouted.

- Can I have one mommy? - Rory asked with such innocence that I felt like I was melting. She was so much like Alexis, sweet, kind, a bit shy but really good-hearted and brave, while Asher was my tiny shadow. He was always up to something and somehow he always managed to get out of trouble. This might be a handy thing when he will be Alpha one day.

- You will get one, but not from us. - Alexis said.

- What is an engagement ring? - Asher asked and I knew that tonight's bedtime story will be different.

- In the human world when a man loves a woman as much as we love each other with mommy, the man asks for her hand.

- Did your hand get tired? - Rory asked and Alexis struggled to hold back her laughter.

- No. Why? – I frowned at her trying to look serious as well. Her silver eyes with that tiny patch of golden brown opened wider while she asked.

- So why did you asked for mommy's? - Rory asked and her tiny eyebrows frowned.

- What happens after? - Asher interrupted his sister's struggle.

- Well if he wants to marry the man she says yes.

- So this means mommy said yes? - Asher asked and his eyes sparkled.

- Yes.

- But you are already mates with mommy. Why did you need to ask her? - we snuggled closer with them and I said to Asher whole I looked into my Fairy's eyes.

- Because before mommy became like me, she had a different life and I know that she always wanted a wedding. So I wanted to make her wish come true. - Alexis smiled at meg and with her empty hand she caressed my face.

- I love you so much. - I kissed the top of her hand and said.

- I love you too, more than you can imagine. - Asher coughed calling our attention back at them.

- What is a wedding? - we grinned at each other and Alexis started to tell them with enthusiasm what is a wedding, what it means and looks like. By the time she finished our pups were almost as excited about this whole wedding thing as us. They wanted to help with everything possible and we promised to find a duty for them. We gave them their good night kiss and walked to our room which was across theirs. Behind closed doors Alexis wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me gently. I grabbed her firm ass and growled with desire.

- I love you. - she panted while I gave her kisses all over her chest and neck. Her hands travelled under my PJ shorts growing the flames of my desire.

I picked her up and threw her to our bed. Alexis's giggles echoed in the room. I climbed on top of her and looked into those stunning silver eyes, I still couldn't believe that the Moon Goddess gifted me with such a wonderful woman. Our PJs quickly disappeared and without any more foreplay, I found myself in her private paradise reserved only for me.  After a couple of rounds, she was in my arms ready to have some sleep when her phone rang. She groaned with a tiny frustration and wrapped herself out of my hold.

- Who could call in the middle of the night? - she asked but after Alexis read the name on the screen she hit my shoulder.

- Sebastian is calling. Get up! - I woke up immediately and she put my brother on speaker.

- Seby, is everything alright? - I asked with concern while Alexis grabbed some clothes and jumped into them, throwing a pair of underwear, jeans, and a shirt to me. I started to dress while Sebastian said.

- Our baby girl is ready to show herself! Also, Sara said that if I can't manage Alexis to be here, she will name the baby after our father! - our glance met and we both rushed to the door. Before we left I knocked on my father's bedroom door. He opened it with a sleepy head.

- Carter... Why? Why did you wake me up? - his voice showed genuine tiredness.

- Sorry dad, but we need you to come to our suite. Sara is about to give birth but we can't leave the twins unattended. - his eyes popped open and put a hand on my shoulder.

- Go and be there for your brother and his mate. The little ones will be in good hands. - I smiled and before I left I said.

- Thanks, dad!

- Anytime. - he walked to our room and I rushed down the stairs. Alexis was already in the car with a started engine. I jumped next to her and she stepped on the pedal. We basically flew to Sebastian's Pack.

- I won't let my niece be called Phillippina! - she said with faked anger and I put a hand on her thigh. This is how we arrived just in time. It was already dawn by the time Seby's daughter arrived. T wasn't an easy birth. Sara struggled a lot but we all were by her side. After the pup was born and we heard a loud and strong cry the doctor placed her on Sara's chest. The baby girl already had lots of curly hair, her eyes were chocolate browns just like Seby's but the rest of her features were just like Sara's.

- She is gorgeous Sara! - Alexis said while she gently caressed the baby's face.

- Congratulations to both of you! - I added and pat Seby's shoulder. He smiled proudly.

- How do you want to call her? -Alexis asked and they both frowned.

-Oh oh... Something tells me they have no idea. - I said holding back a chuckle.

- We forgot to think about a name... - Sara gasped. The room's door opened and a sleepy Enzo rushed in followed by a worried She-wolf.

- Alpha, Luna sorry but I couldn't stop him. - it was Cathy, Enzo's nanny.

-Don't worry Cathy. You can leave now, have some rest. - Seby said.

- Thank you, Alpha, and congrats! - she left and Enzo walked to the bed looking up at his sister.

- Can I see Alba? - Seby and Sara frowned and we just stared in surprise. Enzo could speak Spanish and English as well but he never heard them call the baby Alba.

- What did you just say? - Sara asked.

- I would like to see my sister Alba.

-Enzo we didn't say her name is Alba. - Seby said.

- But she was born at dawn Cathy said, so she is Alba. - we all shared a surprised look and Sara whispered.

- Alba... I like it. - Alexis helped Enzo to get in the bed next to Sara and he watched his sister with adoration.
