World of fantasies Alexis   - Where could they be? - I asked out loud while I heard my pups giggle from behind the curtains. Intentionally I looked all over the wrong places calling for their names. - Asher! Rory! Where are you?! - Carter stormed into the room with a worried expression on his face until he saw my wink to the direction of the curtain. - Fairy what's wrong? Where are our pups? - he asked, now with faked worry. More giggles sounded and then we heard Asher saying softly. - Sssh... Rory, they will hear us! - we shared a look with Carter and had to cover our mouth to contain our laughter. - Sorry Ash! - Cassia barked in my mind. - I think it's time to find them! - I smiled but said. -A little later, I don't want Asher to blame Rory. - I left the room calling for them but Carter stayed and I peaked in the room through the half-opened door. My mate sneaked to the curtain which was now shaking by our excited pups. He walked closer and they stopped moving. Carter opened the curtains and they started to laugh. - Daddy! Come! We are playing hide and seek with mom! - Rory said excitedly. - Yeah! We are so good that she couldn't find us for at least three hours! - Asher screamed and I laughed out loud. They turned their heads to me and I said. - Gotcha! - Mom! It took you so long that I almost grew a beard as daddy has! - Asher exclaimed. Carter couldn't hold back his laughter anymore. - I don't think it was that long! - he said lifting up both of our children in his big, strong, and muscular arms. - Believe Us, Daddy! It took an eternity! - Rory said and Carter frowned. - From where do you know words like this? You are only three. - I smiled at him. - From Enzo! He taught us this new word! - Carter glanced at me and I shrugged. Sara and Sebastian's son was only half-year younger than our pups but thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Davids he was incredibly well educated, let's say too educated. This remembered me to call Sara, she was expecting their second pup and struggling with her pregnancy. - Daddy will get you two in the bath while I'll call Godmother Sara. - Carter grinned like a child he loved to give them baths or he liked to play with their rubber ducks. It was a mystery I still haven't figured out yet. The kids ran after Carter laughing and I went to grab my phone to call Sara. I walked to the balcony, sat down on the swing chair, and dialed. After the third ring, Sara picked up the phone. - Lexi! Thanks for the Goddess! - Well this is quite an interesting greeting. - she laughed on the other side of the phone. - I'm just fed up about the she-wolves in our pack asking me what could they help with. Nothing I'm pregnant, not disabled... - it was my turn to laugh. - Sara... You are their Luna, they just trying to be nice. - she growled a little and said. - I know. But it is frustrating also my mother is getting on my nerves... Enzo spent the weekend at their house and came home saying. "Granny's meals were wonderful and there was an exceptional atmosphere at the riverside when they went fishing with Grandpa." Tell me which three years old talks like this?! - Well thanks to your mother mine as well. - Sara stayed quiet for a minute and said in a shocked tone. - Oh holly flying cows... It is contagious. - I thought I will roll down my chair when I imagined Sara's face saying this. - Well it seems like. - I will give my mother the role of the mother and I will take the grandmas. I will be the one who spoils my kids with candies and staying up late. Have you noticed Rory's crush on Enzo? - Yes she is following him like a love-sick puppy. This is why she tends to learn new words from him. - Sara chuckled. -Probably. - our phone call was interrupted by Carter mind-linking me. - Fairy can you please come and help me? - I frowned before I asked. - What do you need help with? - They outnumbered me... - I chuckled and said to Sara. - Sara sorry but I have to hang up. Carter got outnumbered by our pups and I have to rescue him. - Sara was laughing so hard that she definitely had tears in her eyes. - Fine go and save your Luna! Love you Lexi! - I love you too! Warn me when your little one wants to pop out! - Hopefully, I won't give birth at a glade in the middle of nowhere. - Owl says to the sparrow. You gave birth to Enzo in your packhouse kitchen! -And it was a huge mistake! He is hungry all the time. Last night I got him and Sebastian red-handed in the kitchen. - What were they doing? - Enzo was on his neck and they were building an ice cream tower... When I asked them who the hell will eat that they just grinned. So as you can guess we had a midnight dinner. First-course chocolate ice cream, second partly melted pistachio and as dessert, we had soaked scoop with melted stracciatella. - I was laughing so hard imagining this scene that I almost forgot about Carter's calling. - Go and save your mate. - Sara said. - s**t I almost forgot! Bye! - I hang up the phone and rushed to the bathroom with three towels, an umbrella, and a mop. I opened the door carefully and saw Carter in the bathtub with foam all over his head and beard. Asher and Rory had the same hairstyle and the floor looked like a tsunami invaded our bathroom. - What happened here? - I asked with my eyes wide open. Carter shrugged and the kid shouted. - We won the foam fight! - I laughed and looked at them with the typical mom stare. - Fine warriors. Time to get out before you will look like a dry plum. - they both almost jumped out of the bathtub. This trick always worked. My kids hated plum. When they were finally dry they rushed to their room to get in their PJ's. I handed a towel to Carter and he took it from me with a childish smile. I knew this smile too well and before I could've taken a step back he pulled me into the bathtub with him. Carter kissed me deeply and I got wet not just because of the water in the bathtub. We got out and he stared at my soaked t-shirt. His eyes turned black and he licked his mouth. I threw a rubber duck against him and he shook his head. - Until they are awake don't even think about it!  Neither they nor I'm prepared for The talk. - Carter laughed and started to dry himself. He walked to our room and brought a towel for me as well. I started to get myself dry when he glanced at the rubber duck and leaned down to get it up. I turned around to let the water off of the bathtub. When I turned back Carter was kneeling on the bathroom floor holding the rubber duck in his hands. The duck had a beautiful rose gold ring at its peak with a large diamond in the center. - Fairy I know I'm a bit late with this considering that our pups are almost four, but I wanted to ask you if you would do me the honor to become not just my mate, Luna, and mother of my kids but also my wife?- I became speechless and only extended my hand to him. Carter pulled the ring on my finger and I jumped at him hugging him and giving him a passionate kiss which turned on both of us. - Million times yes! -we walked out of the bathroom sharing excited and loving glances. I had a quick shower while Carter made sure that the kids were in their beds already waiting for the bedtime story. When I was in my Pj's as well I walked to their bedroom door and heard their excited conversation with Carter.  - Daddy why did you ask for mommy's hand? -Asher asked and I heard my sweet little girl's confused voice. - Are your hands' tired dad from working? - I had to cover my mouth their innocence was so freaking sweet and I would've given a fortune to see how Carter's face looked at that moment. He just scratched the back of his neck trying not to laugh at our pups.  - No sweetheart, you see. When a werewolf finds his/her mate they feel so strong connection with them like they were glitter and glue. You just can't separate them once they are together. The world from where mommy comes is a lot different, and even now that she is part of our world and she is like us, if not a lot cooler, she always wanted to have her life like their traditions are. - I entered the room with a delighted smile and Carter turned around with loving eyes. I walked to him and sat on his lap embracing his neck with my arms.   - That is true, and since the day we met, your daddy is always trying to make my dreams come true. - Carter gave me a kiss and the kids stayed quiet, they were processing the new information. A few seconds later Asher's eyes shined. - Can daddy make my dreams come true as well?  - Is daddy a magician? - Rory asked and I mind-linked Carter. - Definitely, you have magical hands. - Carter swallowed hard and I felt him getting turned on. He took a deep breath and said. - It depends on what are your dreams. I can't make everything come true, but we promise that we will try everything to make them happen. - I nodded and caressed Carter's back. I loved him so much and this part of the day was my favorite. At night we were like a normal family, not the Luna and Alpha of one of the biggest Packs, and founders of the United Packs of Hunter Hill. We were mommy and daddy, and I would never change this for anything. Being with them was our little wonderland.
