"Julie and Kathy," he said. "I believe you've met them recently?"
"Unfortunately, "I said. "So you know them."
"Yes," he said.
"Okay, keep it to yourself, why don't you," I snapped.
"They are members of the same coven," he said.
"Witches?" I questioned. "Should have known they were up to something."
"I have traveled far and wide looking for them," Father Romero told me. "They have been trying to complete a centuries-old ritual."
"And," I added.
"They need to kill five alphas during a full moon," he finished explaining.
"For what," I said sounding shocked.
"To not only steal their strength but to make their coven the strongest in the world and rid the world of other witches and wolves," he said.
"Okay, so they have 1 and a half," I said. "Did Julie think Jack was an alpha or did she get close to him to then go for James."
"I'm not sure but I know they need James, not his brother," he said. "He may have alpha blood running through his veins but he is not an official alpha.
"I get that but still what a bunch of bitches," I said.
"So now what?" I asked.
"I think you should join me," he said.
"I'll help you because they are targeting my family but not because I trust you," I told him.
"Well, I appreciate the help nonetheless," he said. "Will you go back and warn your mate."
"No, Julie and Kathy may think getting rid of me will help their chances but it won't," I said. "He will go nuts without me."
"They can use magic to alter or weaken your mate bond," he explained.
"It's not just a mate bond that we share. He is, different," I said. "He needs me and the longer I am gone, the more he will become anxious and angry."
"Well, let's hope so," Father Romero said.
Father Romero gave me all the information he had on the coven and the two witches. I figured the more I knew about them, the more I would be able to learn how to stop them.
"Do you have any idea where the rest of this coven is?" I asked father Romero. He looked at me with this cunning smile.
"Let's go make some new friends," I said.

Aria didn't come home last night. I was going insane. My wolf was howling nonstop. I couldn't sense her, she was not responding to my mind-link. I had no way of contacting her. I needed to hear her voice. I needed to know she was okay. I called alpha Simon and told him to help me find her. He told me to relax that she maybe was with a friend. I couldn't believe his attitude or response. I wanted to kill him. Jack came over and told me almost the same thing. I was going crazy and they were being useless. I sent my men all over town to see if they could pick up her scent but nothing. What if she never came back? Jack came over with Julie again but I wasn't really in the mood to have company.
"You should relax," Julie said. I didn't know her, why in the f**k was she talking to me like we were cool. I was ready to rip her throat out. We sat at the dinner table, while she giggled and talked about her cat. Cats. the irony. I hate her.
"Will you smile," Julie said. "You're too cute to be sad over her." That was it, I was angry. I flipped over the table and punched a hole on the wall. She was scared and so was Jack.
"Take your w***e and LEAVE!" I shouted. I spent the rest of the day in my room.

Father Romero found the hideout of this coven Julie and Kathy belonged too.
"Should we set the place on fire," I said.
"It won't be that easy," he said.
"Oh, please, there not mindreaders," I laughed.
"No, but still if they sense danger they will attack and I might not be able to stop all of them," he said.
"You can block my scent, right?" I asked him.
"Yes, how did you know I was?" he asked back.
"James would have found me by now, duh," I said.
"You put so much faith in this mate of yours," he remarked.
"Yes I do but my point is, if you block my scent from them, I can sneak in," I told him. Father Romero nodded and I told him to keep a lookout. I jumped on the tree beside the house and looked through the upstairs windows. I didn't see anyone and I couldn't hear anyone inside. I saw a window slightly open so I jumped onto the roof and found my way to the window and pulled it up so I could get in. I looked at father Romero and he didn't look happy. I still didn't hear anyone around. I walked out of the room I had snuck into and headed into the hallway. I saw another room to my left so I looked in there. I was shocked to see dozens and dozens of pictures of wolves. Almost all of them were alphas. I saw James's photo and got angry. I knew that b***h was after him but seeing proof made me angrier. Alpha Simon's picture was also on the wall. There were a couple more photos of alphas I recognized. I wondered if they had gotten to them already or if we still had time to stop them. Since there was no one in the house, there wasn't much I could do. I left and went back to Father Romero.
"So, what now?" I asked him.
"I think we should locate the other alphas," he said. I thought about it. Spending more time away from James wasn't going to be easy for any of us but I knew I had to stop these withes. They already had Jack and Simon. They won't believe him if they have their hooks in them so I need to beat them to the others. Father Romero and I decided to start with the closest alpha and work our way further. Most likely if the coven isn't here they are working on their plan and are somewhere with these other alphas.
"Let's get this show on the road," I said.
