"Were getting married tomorrow," my brother Jack said as he ran into the living room.
"Are you f*****g kidding me," I snarled.
"Dude, I know you lost your mate but we have to move on and celebrate love," he said cheerfully. He sounded like some lovesick robot. This wasn't my brother. I wanted to punch him in the face but I held myself back. I had been so depressed over losing Aria. He made her death sound like nothing. They were best friends for so long and he couldn't care less that she was dead. My parents tried to console me and tried to stay sane in the presence of Julie. Alpha Simon was on the same bizarre love trip. He was planning on marrying his girl soon too. Maybe I was just angry to see so many people happy and I was lost.

Mason and I have been searching this area for twenty minutes and we found no trace of them.
"Well, let's sit tight, there bound to come back," Mason said through our mind link. I laid down on the grass and noticed as Mason ran around as if he was chasing something. My mind wandered back to James. I knew this breaking our bond thing wasn't real but it still hurt. I have never been away from home and away from him for this long. I wondered if he would hate me when I came waltzing back into his life. I missed him. His smile, his gorgeous eyes, and his warm embrace.
It was now night, father Romero came to check on us and told us he could sense someone in the area. Mason and I went off to look for them. We saw a group of six people. 4 females and 2 males. They were chanting in a circle. We noticed a body on the ground. The six witches cut their hands and dropped blood all around the man on the ground. He let out a loud cry and then shifted in pain. It looked like he had no control and they were making him shift. One of the females stepped forward and picked up a knife from the ground. She lifted it up in the air and drove it straight into the wolf. I growled but it was overshadowed by an, even more, louder roar. Suddenly, a black wolf with brown tail appeared. He jumped right on the female witch holding the knife. He bit her head off. Mason and I looked at each other and ran towards the group. We killed the witches within seconds. We all looked around and noticed the dead bodies. Suddenly, a male came towards us. He was chanting and extended his arms out. The three of us fell to our hindlegs. We let out small whimpers. He was grinning. The pain grew and we couldn't gain any strength to fight back. My mind went blank until I thought of my husband and why I was in this fight, to begin with. I mustered enough strength to get back up. The man standing in front of me chanted louder but I quickly ran towards him and released my claws on his face. Father Romero finally appeared with our clothes in hand. I ran to him and took them from his hand. I went behind the nearest tree and got dressed.
"So, you killed them," Father Romero remarked.
"We had no choice," Mason answered back.
"Didn't you?" he questioned.
"Please, they were sacrificing one of our own," Mason retorted.
"He was not from your pack," Father Romero said.
"They were wolves," Mason snapped.
"Will you two stop," I said annoyed. The other wolf shifted in front of us and we all became annoyed.
"Dude, do you have a change of clothes," Mason said angrily. Alpha Ricardo grinned and went to go get clothes he had left behind a nearby tree.
"I could not allow them to kill one of mine," Alpha Ricardo said as he came back to us. "This wolf was one of mine."
"So there not just going to kill Alphas," Mason said.
"I assume they are using the blood of other wolves for a glamour spell," Father Romero said. "The scent of a wolf on a witch will attract other wolves and make them appeal to them."
"Gross," Mason snorted.
"Makes sense, I mean wolves can find humans attractive but I have never heard of anyone be that enamored that they break protocol for them," I said. "But if they had the scent of a wolf hidden within them, they could fool a wolf into doing something stupid."
"Yes," Father Romero nodded. "You killed 7 witches and that might cause a stir within their coven."
"I doubt they will abandon their plan for 7 nobodies," Mason said.
"I think Mason is right, They have two alphas and maybe others already," I said.
"I will help you," Alpha Ricardo said.
"Good, but what exactly do we do now?" Mason asked.
"Look for another Alpha nearby," I suggested.
"That would be Alpha Crawford," Ricardo said. "His pack stays here during the summer and goes back to Europe in the winter."
"A migrating pack, cool," Mason said.
"Don't they stay like 100 miles away from here," I said.
"Yes but its the only other pack close enough," Ricardo answered.
"Okay," I sighed. I was not liking the idea of going even further away from my land, my home, and my husband.
"We won't be gone for long," father Romero said. I nodded and walked back to the jeep. We headed to the territory alpha Crawford was occupying at the time. As we drove something in my heart warned me. Something didn't feel right and I felt like something bad was coming.

Jack has been bothering me about going on a double date with him and Julie. Was he high? I had not been mourning Aria for more than a day and he wanted me to go on a f*****g date. He is always trying so hard for me to spend time with Julie and drink his damn green smoothies and go shopping with them. Who the f**k was this guy pretending to be my brother? I wanted to punch him. I wanted to kill the b***h who clung to him.
Unfortunately, alpha Simon and my brother brought Julie, Kathy and some other chick with them. They forced me into this dinner and I was pissed.
