The tears rolled down my eyes and I didn't know how to make them stop or if they ever would. My body tensed up and I felt a sharp pain in my chest. My body started to shake and the pain only got worse. The chanting slowed down and I felt cold. My heart was pounding in my chest and I could no longer sense James or feel a connection or a bond to him. Father Romero left the room and I cried myself to sleep.

I saw her, I saw Aria. She was in front of me. Still looking so beautiful as the first time I looked into her eyes. I wanted to hold her and never let her go. I thought she was still alive but tonight our mate bond disappeared. I felt my heartbeat quicken and the pain was unbearable. Did I really see her ghost? What the f**k was wrong with me? That night I broke everything in our bedroom and ran from our lands. I think I ran all night. My life might as well end. I had no reason to live anymore.

I knew he must have gone insane last night. I didn't need to feel him to know he would go berserk. I woke up and went downstairs to notice Alpha Mason and his men getting ready to head out.
"Good morning, Aria," Alpha Mason said. "Ready?"
"Yeah, so which alpha are we going to first?"
"Alpha Ricardo, he is the closest and he also has no mate, so easy target, right?"
"Most likely," I walked over to Father Romero and asked him if he was ready to go. He looked like he was meditating.
"LET'S GO, KIDS," alpha Mason shouted. We all headed out and got into his red jeep. "The rest of my men are going to check the area to see if they find any traces of these witches." It took us a few hours to get to this deep forest area. There were a couple of cabins there and some children playing catch.
"Did we just enter their land?" I asked Mason. "We didn't ask for permission.
"Alpha Ricardo and his pack are roamers, they don't stay in an area for long," he said.
"So he looked like a good candidate?" I said sarcastically.
"He just needed to be an alpha, last time I checked," he said back. We got out of the jeep and noticed everyone was now staring at us. "They may look small but they are good fighters and very hostile if provoked."
"Then don't provoke them," Father Romero said. Mason just rolled his eyes and walked forward.
"Can I speak to Alpha Ricardo!" Mason shouted. A tall huge man came out of the nearest cabin. He had long hair and a long beard to match. He had tons of tattoos covering his chest and arms. He wasn't wearing a shirt so you could see his husky frame and huge muscles on his tan body.
"What do you want," he said sharply.
"I am alpha Mason and this is Luna Aria, we have come to address an issue and ask for your help," Alpha Ricardo didn't look interested but he motioned for us to follow him inside the cabin.
"Do you and your luna want something to drink," Alpha Ricardo said.
"No, and she's not my Luna," he replied.
"Yet she is with you and not her mate," he hissed."that is very disgraceful."
"You don't even have a luna and know nothing about my husband," I retorted. "We came to warn you about witches targeting alphas."
"And you think they will come and attack me?" Ricardo asked.
"Not exactly," I said. "They will try and seduce you so you let your guard down." Alpha Ricardo looked annoyed and then laughed maniacally.
"You think one of their kind can seduce me," he laughed.
"I think the point is, YES!" I shouted. "They have enough power to trick you or manipulate you."
"Alpha Ricardo, we just came to warn you," Mason interrupted me since I was getting annoyed myself.
"You said you wanted my help," he questioned.
"Well, yeah, if you had seen them since they should be in the nearby areas," Mason answered.
"Well, lucky for you I have seen them," he told us.
"WHERE!" father Romero asked impatiently. Alpha Ricardo told us his pack noticed a group of people lurking near his area but didn't take the chance to come near them. He said they must know about their reputation for killing outsiders without cause. Both Mason and I rolled our eyes. He told us they went to the other side of the forest along the river bank. He said his pack does not go there anymore because of them.
"Do you know what they are doing there?" I asked Ricardo. He shook his head no.
"They must be using that spot to perform the ritual," Father Romero said. "The moon hits the right spot and it is in the center point of this entire area. It seems like the perfect place to me."
"We have to go there," Mason said.
"But if they are not all there we risk ruining everything," I said.
"So you want to let them go," Mason retorted.
"No, but we go to spy on them not kill them," I told him.
"You have to be kidding me," Mason said. I rolled my eyes and said
"You either go with my plan or you go with my plan."
"Got it," he smiled. "Seriously where do I find a luna like you." I punched him in the arm and we headed back to the jeep.
"I get that we are good at hunting and can lurk in the shadows but do you really think we can sneak up on them," Mason asked.
"I can help us not be seen," Father Romero answered back.
"Okay good," I said. I told Mason to shift with me after we took our clothes off behind separate trees. Father Romero began to chant and said we would be unnoticeable to anyone nearby. He stayed by the jeep so Mason and I ran looking for any trace of the coven.
