Alpha Crawford

We finally reached the house alpha Crawford would rent when he spent his summers in. Alpha Ricardo took the lead because he knew Alpha Crawford a little. We were led inside by his beta Nicole. "His beta is a woman," Mason questioned to me. I just gave him a nudge and told him to shut up. Alpha Crawford was excited to see Alpha Ricardo. "My dear old friend," he greeted Ricardo. "How have you been?" Alpha Crawford's pack was even smaller then Ricardo's. "I am fine, I wanted to talk to you about strange things that have been happening, do you have a moment," Ricardo asked. "Of course," he said. Suddenly, a young and beautiful woman appeared. "Oh my love, this is Lana, my wife." "s**t!" Mason shouted. "Pardon me," Crawford said. "Nothing, she is just hot," Mason answered. "You're an i***t," I said. "Well, not as hot as you," he replied. "Will you just stay quiet," I said. "Oh my, thank you, I appreciate it, and he is right you are far more lovely," Lana said." "No, Lana there is no one more beautiful than you," Alpha Crawford said. I rolled my eyes. "So, what did you want to discuss," Alpha Crawford asked. "We were in need of some shelter for a few days, do you think we can stay here," Ricardo spoke. "Of course, my dear friend," Alpha Crawford answered. "Just tell your friend to mind his manners." Alpha Crawford laughed. We all laughed softly along with him. Alpha Crawford's beta showed us to our rooms. We all gathered in one room. "So, now what?" Mason asked. "She has to be a witch." "Why, do you say that," Ricardo retorted. "She is far too pretty for him and she looks crazy too," Mason answered. "Father Romero, what do you think?" I asked him. "She is definitely a witch," he answered. "SEE," Mason said with joy. "Okay, so do we tell him, I mean he said Lana was his wife," I said. "We don't stand a chance of separating them now." "It is not a guarantee that killing them will break the spell but sometimes it is the easiest way," Father Romero said. "Well, getting close to her to kill her is going to be hard but seems like the only choice," Mason said. "Okay, and if it doesn't break the spell, Crawford is going to want to rip our heads off," I told Mason. "Then we kill him too," Mason said as Ricardo then got in his face. "I won't let you kill my friend." "We don't want to kill him," I said. "Let's just observe some more." The men went to mingle with the rest of the pack but I was still feeling sick so I stayed in the room. I heard a knock on the door, it was Nicole checking on me. "Hey," I answered. "Are you okay, did you need anything?" She asked. "No, I am okay," "Well, if you need anything." "Hey, I was wondering if you could tell me a little bit about your Luna," "She isn't our Luna," Nicole seemed agitated. "Oh, I'm sorry," I said. "No, I mean, I guess she will be after the luna ceremony but I just," Nicole hesitated. "It's okay, I won't tell anyone, what's wrong?" "I don't like her, she came out of nowhere asking to speak to Crawford and then they are in love and getting married," Nicole explained. "He would never bring in a stranger to join our pack and I thought we would. Nevermind." "You love him," I said. "Of course, I am his beta," "No, you're in love with him. I get it, trust me," I told her. "I can tell, he is your mate." "What, no, I mean," she stumbled to find the right words. "I do love him." "I'll help you get him back," "How?" "She is a" Lana was at the door before I could say another word. "Hi, can I come in and join you girls, all the guys downstairs is a bit intimidating," Lana said. She seemed nice but I knew she was a wolf in sheep's clothing. Nicole nodded and grabbed a chair for her. "So what are we talking about," I looked over to Nicole and just smiled. "I was telling Nicole about my mate," I lied. "Oh, which one is he," Lana asked. I knew she thought he had to be one of the guys downstairs. Oh heaven, help me. "Mason," I choked out. I knew he was an easy choice. Crawford new a little bit about Ricardo so it would be harder to convince him I was his mate. "No wonder you got upset when he said I was hot," she laughed. "Yeah, that's why," I said as calmly as I could. She smiled and then her eyes almost seemed to turn black. "So, how was your wedding," I asked Lana. "Quick," Nicole said under her breath. I gave her a sympathetic look and a small smile. "It was lovely, just the two of us," Lana grinned. It was almost as if she knew she was hurting Nicole. "It was amazing, just me and Crawford and he is so amazing. He loves me so much and nothing else matters to him." Nicole's face looked angry, jealous but above all looked like she was just in so much pain. Lana came closer to Nicole and hugged her. "We are going to be such a happy family and don't feel bad I am sure Crawford won't completely forget about you." and with that Nicole pushed Lana down on the bed and smothered her with a pillow. "Holy s**t!" I shouted. I quickly closed the bedroom door and stood watch. "I hate you, you stupid b***h, you took everything from me," Nicole spit out. Suddenly, Lana stopped moving and she took the pillow off her face. I looked over to see her lifeless face. "Nicole," I said softly. Then Lana's arm shot up and grabbed Nicole's throat. I quickly pulled Nicole back to get out of Lana's grasp. When we both looked up at Lana, she looked like a zombie version of medusa. Her hair looked like snakes and her eyes were pitch black. Her skin was peeling off her face. "What the f**k is that," Mason shouted as he came running into the room. "RUN!!!" I shouted.
