The trio had managed to fall asleep on the couch, Vincent nestled in between Bonnie and Lucas. The DVD idle screen had long since stopped playing and the TV had turned off hours prior when the sun started rising. This peaceful, idyllic scene was rudely interrupted by harsh, insistent knocking at the front door. Official sounding knocks, too, which caused Vincent no end of anxiety…to the point that Bonnie was actually trying to calm him down while Lucas answered the door.
