Several days had passed since the incident with Tallow and the three mates had been working on getting to know each other. They had actually realized fairly quickly that they knew very little about the others' personal lives. Even Vincent and Bonnie kept some things from each other…such as the fact that he was a shifter. She easily forgave him for that, though, given the laws involving humans.
Still, if this mateship was going to work, they had to strip down the secrets. They needed to know each other, the good and the bad. Perhaps that is why, when someone suggested they have a date night, they had jumped at the chance. Vincent actually pulled out his high-school graduation tux, though at this point he had filled out enough that he could no longer button the jacket.
