The silence was deafening after that initial question and Greg tried to look as small as possible. Russel stilled him with a single glance, his eyes a flinty fire. When it became clear that no one was going to speak up, the leader sighed deeply through his nose, looking tired. Going to his desk, he started rummaging in it, though what he was looking for was beyond Vincent's knowledge. “Since no one wants to talk, I'm going to assume that the guilty party was Greg as usual. Don't even start, Greg, I've known about your behavior for years. I just never thought you would be so stupid as to attack a still recovering packmate. If you had accidentally killed him, we'd be having a different conversation entirely," Russel left his words hanging with an ominous silence, causing everyone to flinch
