Chapter 24 - The Plan
Emily's POV
"Useless!" I groan heading downstairs, hoping I could eat something for the first time since yesterday morning. My body almost starting eating itself. I can't believe I was able to sleep with how hungry I was, but yet again, I was utterly exhausted after researching Franco Toretti.
I take some of the fresh pastries that magically appear on the kitchen counter every single morning, and start making myself a coffee to chase them with.
"Completely useless people, with useless jobs, who ask if they can help you but in fact aren't helpful at all!" I mutter angrily before I realise what I'm doing. Great, and now I'm talking to myself, fantastic. At least it appears as I'm home alone, because Lucy is taking Albert to see Christine today for his appointment,
