Angel's p.o.v

I woke that morning around 9am, realising I hadn't moved a inch from where Leon placed me. I crawl my ass out of bed and get in the shower to get freshened up. After doing my morning routine I pull out some training gear as I remember Leon saying that Jake would be testing my skills today.. This is what I need. Normalcy! I will grieve over time and I know I wont be getting over it any time soon.. It will take months to process properly. A friend at school lost her dad and had to go through counseling at school for it so I used to go with her for support. I decide to walk my way down stairs instead of taking the lift. The home is lovely with long sweeping stair cases. The place has three floors and there are loads of down each side of the hallways on each landing. As I get to the bottom it opens up in to a big reception room. There are six doors all leading off from here so I go towards the back and come straight in to a huge kitchen. Walking through to a dining room.

"Morning sweetheart!.. Come get some breakfast. This is the family dining room for all the higher ranks. Your dad was one of my Beta's so you have Beta blood and are classed as a Beta. Plus as my charge you are classed as family." He explains as I sit down. So I have second command blood. I'm glad he is only drip feeding me information as I don't think I could take everything in all at once at the moment.

"So my dad was one of your second in commands?" I ask to let him know I am interested in learning a little more of my werewolf parents.

"Yeah and your mum was a brilliant warrior too. There must have been a lot of rogues to have taken them from you.. Anyway your mum and dad was pranksters when they was young and always getting me and Lauren in trouble!" He laughs and I smile at that.

"Who is Lauren?" I ask.

"Oh that was my mate.. The four of us grow up together and was best of friends. We also then became mates too, Me and Lauren and Nick and Leanne. It was always the four of us.. Lauren was also the one to help deliver you too as you came 2 weeks early. We had taken a picnic to the lake, Just us four! It was to get your mum out the house for a little while but her waters broke while we was there. I ran for the midwife as Lauren and Nick stayed with your mum. You had came just as I got back with the midwife so Lauren had to deliver you haha. She said it was amazing!.. When you shifted on your 3rd birthday we was all in the private living room, Only the Alpha's and Beta's families are allowed in there. You and Logan was down on the floor opening your presents and you suddenly started shaking. Logan wouldn't let us come near you as you suddenly shifted it to the most beautiful wolf I have ever seen, He was 5 years old and so protective of you.. When we realised you was pure white your dad said he had to take you and hid you in the human world till you was grown and able to defend yourself.. He said he would keep us updated as long as it was safe to do so.. When we didn't hear from him I just thought they was being cautious." I sat and ate a full English breakfast while he spoke. I realise he had just been sat waiting for me to come down as his plate was already cleared. I smiled and laughed when he told me how I was born... I have always been forward. I don't wait for  things much, I make things happen on my terms.

"I never have been patient hahaha. Kathrine always said I couldn't wait for anything, Everything had to be on my terms." I say after I take my last bite of food. 

"Well let's go see how much training your going to need." He says as he stands and takes my plate. I stand and follow him out. He goes through the kitchen and gives my plate to a lady there.

"This is Martha. She runs the kitchen. Martha this is Nick and Leanne's daughter Angel." I wave to her staying quiet.

"Hiya sweetheart.. If you need anything come and ask me or if I am not here or its night time there are always leftovers in the fridge but you may have to race Logan for them hahah. He's back today isn't he?" She says.

"Yeah. He will be back any time after 10:30am. Right we are going to check this little ones training level's." He says and nods his good bye. She hands me a bottle of water as I leave behind him. I'm glad she thought of that because I'm a little scatter brained at times. We walk out the back door from the kitchen and I see Jake waiting in the clearing there.

"I thought we would test back here out the way of everyone first. Once we know where your at we can see where to put you for anything you need to be taught.." Leon says as we reach Jake.

"Morning Angel.. So stand here and I want you to just defend for now." I stand in front of him and he throws a punch and I duck back. He smiles and then does a couple of one two's at me. I don't let him land a hit but I have to keep holding back as I see opening to strike.. Well this is easy so far. Suddenly he goes for a kick and I drop low, Out of instinct I sweep his legs from under him.

"Sorry.. I know you said to only defend.. That was instinct!" I put my hand out to help him up.

"How about a fight.. That will be better I think. Then you wont be having to hold back any instincts. Don't hold back from Jake.. Give him all you have." Leon says. I nod and get into a fighting stand. I watch as he moves. His left leg is a weak point.. I wonder if he knows? I dodge and move out the way of his hits, My first opening comes and I duck under his punch and land a upper cut to his chin. I see a little surprise as I smirk back. Again I dodge and move but suddenly I switch and attack. I fake hitting to the right but punch left, I hit him twice before right kicking the left side of his head. He rolls to right before looking up at me again.

"Ok.. She's good!.. What styles are you trained in?" He asks me. I stop and grab a drink of water.

"Kick boxing, judo and Karate, All to a masters level. I'm also trained with Guns and Knives too. We was moving on to sword fighting.. I have all my own personal weapons upstairs.. The blades are all silver coated too." They stand shocked. I look between the two of them when a shout is heard.

"Dad!.. Where you at?" Comes a sexy masculine voice. I shiver a little at the sound and Jake looks over at me with a strange look. I just turn away. 

"Out back Logan!" Leon shouts back. I watch as a tall broad shouldered guy comes out. He must be over 6 foot as he would towers over my small frame. Dark haired and is obviously very muscular from what I can see from him just wearing a dark t-shirt and denim jeans. Now that he is coming closer I can see he is definitely my type of man. Yum!

"Now that's a wolf I wanna take a bite out of!" Pipes Eva. I giggle at her and Jake and Leon look round at me. I just point to my head and shake it. 

"Eva.. Chill ya horny b***h!.. We promised to accept our mate only.. Remember?"

"Yeah I know but come on he's fit as hell!.. I was only admiring him.. I didn't say jump his bones did I?" I give a giggle again at her.. like I said she's a scream and my best friend.

"Who's the new girl dad?" I hear him ask and tune back in to my surroundings.

"This is Nick and Leanne's daughter Angel.. Can you remember her?" He asked.

"Vaguely! I remember the little girl they had but she's changed quite a bit... I'm Logan this old git's son." He holds his hand out to shake. I take his hand and a tingling sensation runs up my arm.. What the f**k was that? I pull my hand back quick as his eyes fog a little at the same time his dad's does. He dad gets a surprised look but quickly wipes it away. 

"So where are Nick and Leanne.. I would have thought they would be out here with you?" I look down as he accidentally reminds me that I have lost both them as well as mum and dad. I squash the emotions down before looking back up. Again the fog is clearing from their eyes.

"s**t, Sorry Angel.. So on a different subject.. I guess your checking her training level?" He asked.

"She's good.. Well trained considering everything." Jake says to him.

"What.. That I was trained by humans.. They was ex marines.. What did you expect?" I bite back. Honestly, Why do these people think I wouldn't have good training?

"No that's not what I meant.. I mean that considering you haven't been in our world.." Jake explains.

"Have you shifted often or just when necessary?" Leon asks to change the topic.

"I shifted a lot when I was younger. Kyle and Kathrine would take me running in the woods on the back of their land. As I got older me and Eva would run three or four times a week.. I can shift in about 3 seconds last time Kyle timed me." I se the surprise, f**k it I will just show them.

"Ready babe?" I ask her.

"As always!" She answers and I shift. Dropping forwards I land on my white wolf paws.  They all jump back and I laugh in to the link.

"Ok we believe you.. Jake go grab her some clothes." We look at them with our head turned.. Clothes? What for? I change back just as fast and stand there with clothes on.. Surely all wolves do?

"How do you do that?" Logan asks as he starts to walk around me.

"What? I always shift like that."

"No I mean shift back and still be in the same clothes.. We tear ours if we do that and shift back naked!" He says and now its my turn to look confused.

"I thought all wolves shifted like this.. I didn't know I was doing anything different. If I'm really tired I end up naked but I just thought that happened when a wolf was tired!" I tell them looking at the three of them.

"Guess it's another special thing about Eva... Why don't you two take today off from everything and show Angel around.. Her 18th birthday is tomorrow so I want to organize a bonfire to celebrate... Go on you three." Leon says. Jake and Leon agree and he walks off.

"Come on, Let's go for a walk around the pack lands. If its your birthday we can go down to the mall.. You can tell me what things you like and we can pick some presents up for you." Logan says.

"Mall? I'm not a shop till you drop kind of girl.. Put ok if you two want to." They nod and we start walking.

"So what kind of girl are you?" Logan asks with a inquisitive look.

"Not a girly girl that's for sure.. I'm like a kick ass babe.. Give me any sports or assault courses I'm happy or weapons! I have a couple of hand guns and a few blades." I tell them.

"Don't look so shocked you two.. Just because I'm named Angel and I look like one.. Does not mean I actually am one!" I sass at them and Logan laughs. What an amazing sound! I giggle back at both of them. Boy this is gonna be a long day, Properly just what I needed right now...
