We sat out side a little café to have a quiet lunch, Logan had just nipped to place our order. I was thinking back on out few hours in the mall. He had walked me around so many shops and had me try on all sorts of clothes. I had put everything back but he would have me wait for a few minutes out side the shops and he would walk out with bags. The phone shop was the worst! He kept trying to get me a new phone, But he wanted me to have the latest one but knowing how many phone I had already gone through. I thought it was better to have a lower modal. In the end I just told him to chose the one he wanted me to have. I did how ever draw the line of him coming in to Victoria Secrets with me.. I needed new sets and if he was my mate as we think then I wanted something sexy too. He did insist on me taking his card with me and I put the set I brought for him specially on his but my every day wear was on mine. After all I'm not broke!.. 

I was nervous for the conversation we was about to have so when I saw the army store I dragged him in there to delay us a little while but also managed to come out with a new hunting knife set so that was good! I had spotted a wicked combat trousers and top set that I got say I would wear it to the barbeque tomorrow but he said no-way!  He had insisted I get a dress for the barbeque tomorrow, Instead. We pulled three dresses out that we both liked and thought would look good on me and I tried all three on. The first was a aqua blue that was a fit and flare with a sweetheart bust. The second was I deep purple that was a short mini skirt with a lace around the back that fell to the floor and a belly top type of top with again a sweetheart bust and the last one was a jet black dress that went to the floor with a slit up to my hip on the right. At the top of the slit was a load of diamante's, A sweet hear bust with a see through black Muslim shoulder strap that had diamond tear drops hanging from it.... 

Personally the black was my favorite but I did say he could pick which one I would wear. I left the shop as he went and brought the one he wanted.. I do have a feeling he brought all three though hahaha!. I admit it was fun for the first time ever, I actually had fun shopping but I think that was all the laughing and f*****g about we was doing. I did notice all the girls watching him while we was playing around and shopping. The jealous and angry stares I was getting was some thing hard to miss and if we are mated together then I think this maybe some thing I have to get use too! I wonder if he has been with any other girls? Yeah it would annoy me a little because I haven't even held another boys hand. He would be my first everything! I can deal with it but I just hope he wasn't a player at any time. Again I guess this is something that we will cover the the conversation that is coming soon..

I watch him come back to the table outside and notice that there is no-one around us. He sits down with the drinks and smiles at me. I melt a little in side.

"So.. How do we start this conversation?" I ask and he laughs.

"Straight to the point I see... Well lets start with past relationships! Have you ever been out with anyone beside me?" He asks and I can see he is eager for this information but it embarrasses the hell out of me. I blush a little.

"No.. I never let any of the lads get close to me.. I knew I was a wolf and they was human, It would never work plus It never felt right... You?" I answer back and he grins..

"That great.. Yeah I had a few kisses before I was 16 but then some she wolf got herself pregnant by a different wolf, Tried to drug me and was going to pass the child off as mine.. After I found out about that I knew that the only she wolf I would truly want was my mate.. So I kept all she wolves at arms length and only as friends, Plus I wanted to wait for my mate too like I hoped she would wait for me .. You! .. I'm glad you have never been near a lad.. So that means that kiss we shared was your first?" He says pleased as punch! Again I blush as that was some first kiss.

"Yeah it was.. You would be my first everything!" I whisper the last past. God this is cringe worthy! Hahaha But I take a deep breath and ask what I am dying to know about. I have to remind my self that I am not normally this shy around people.

"So.. Tell me all about mates then and that marking thing you mentioned in the mall." I smile back.

"Well mates are like what humans call soul mates.. It the one wolf created by the Moon Goddess specially for you. It like love at first sight! I asked a friend what it was like when he met his mate... He said its like an instant attraction and pull towards them and when you touch, Your feel like tingles across your skin that erupt in to fireworks when you kiss or go any further.. He met his mate a week before her birthday and he said he still feel a pull and attraction and when he touched her it was like a fire in his skin.. Shocked the hell out of him.. After her birthday it was even better the fire turned in to sparks... They marked each other and mated a few days after her birthday." He saw a little confusion across my face .. Mated? Marked?

"Sorry.. Marking is where both wolves bite in to the neck just here." He softly strokes the bottom of my neck where my neck meets my shoulder. I shiver at the touch as well as feel the fire burning on my skin, Heating me up in side. He moves his hand and pulls his chair as close as he can to mine. He lowers his head to my neck and kisses where he said the bite goes. 

"Then there is the mating.. Its basically ... s*x!" He whispers against my ear softly. O . M . G! That feels fabulous. His lips are so soft against my skin. Then I catch on to what he said... s*x! He leans back and looks to me for an answer.

"I would need to get to know you a little before that ever happened.. I'm not saying no, Just not yet and ONLY if we are mates like we think we are... My human parents Kyle and Kathrine wrote me a letter because they knew the rogues would probably try once more to take me and if they didn't, They didn't know if they would be allowed to come with me to the pack or how much contact they would get with me after my 18th birthday... In the letter, They said their only wish was for me to find love.. A love like they had and the same love my real folks had.. They said dad had called my mum his mate, His one true love and they wanted me to find that person for me.. They wanted me to promise that and as it was the last promise they asked of me, I am going to honour it.. So I hope to God, Goddess or whatever that you are my mate.. I have never felt like this around anyone before and it scares the hell out of me because I don't even know you... And I can't believe I even told you all that! .. That's what I mean, I feel like I can tell you anything and that you will always be there.. I feel safe and loved.. Why is that?" I ask as I can't believe I let my mouth run away with me.. I have never talked to anyone like this.. Not even my parents!

"That's what mates are.. Someone that will always stand by your side through everything.. They make it so that you feel safe and loved because you are.. They are the other half of your soul and when you meet, Its like you can finally breathe, That they are the air you breathe! You would live and die for them, Can tell every secret to without judgment or worry because you will never lose them.. And I feel all that with you too.. Its like I was drowning and you pulled me free.. I saw you as soon as I walked out the back door, I just wanted to run to you and pull you in to my arms, To never let you go.. When I asked where Nick and Leanne was, I saw the rush of emotions and the sadness before you wiped it away. Dad linked me that you lost your folks yesterday and I just wanted to hold you and tell you that you wasn't alone anymore. I wanted to help heal your heart.. I knew you was my mate then and I could see you wasn't felling it as bad as I was so that meant you wasn't 18 yet! I'm so glad  when dad said your birthday is tomorrow because I didn't know how I was going to stay away from you till your birthday came." He leaned in and gave me another earth shattering kiss. I don't know how this feeling could get any better? But he says it will after midnight when my birthday starts. What will happen? I mean his room is right next to mine! The waitress brings out the food and has two buttons to low undone on her shirt. She bend very low in front of Logan before speaking, Staying bent down low.

"Any thing else I can get for you Alpha? Anything you want at all?" She says, Her make up is caked on so thick you would need a wall paper scrape to get it all off! and her perfume is choking me and smells horrid too! A low growl erupts from me and I cover my mouth shocked at the sound.

"That b***h needs to back off before I rip her hair out!" Eva growls viciously in my head. I'm surprised by her as I have never heard her like that or even Angry. I feel my eyes change and I grab the girls arm.

"Are you f*****g BLIND! I am sitting right here, Right at his side. His arm is around me so clearly he is with me and he's MINE! Unless you want you teeth down your throat and to be wearing a wig for the rest of your life... I suggest you f**k off!" I growl at her.

"I don't see any mating bites so he's free to be with who he likes.. So what do you say Alpha.. Drop the little girl and come taste a real woman?" I move to slap her but Logan grabs my hand. I look back at him, Is he playing around with the new girl? He's not honestly about to get up and leave me for her is he?

"Look.. I don't want any one other that the beautifully stunning WOMAN sitting right beside me, Right here.. Just because there is no markings on us yet! Doesn't mean we aren't mates.. I suggest you do as my Luna says or I will let her go and you will not be breathing after!" He says standing up and pushing me in to my seat. The way he speaks about me makes a little blush come up and Eva speaks to me.

"See! He was never going anywhere.. Trust him more babe. I think we should let him mark us and us mark him after midnight.. We don't have to mate yet if your not ready but if we don't mark him then these bitches will still think he is on the market!" The anger has died down but I still feel her restlessness.

"You know what Eva I think your right.. I'm sick of the flirty looks these girls give him and like the slut said there is no markings so she thinks he's free to do as he likes.. Not after tonight he wont be." I decide and tell her.. I'm not so shy girl.. I take action, I wish I could do it now.. Right here in front of this b***h!

"That's my girl.. Tell him Angel.. I want to see his reaction!" Yeah.. I want to see it to. He sits back down and looks to me.

"I'm so sorry Angel.. I get girls always trying to sleep with me and most of the time it's because they want to be Luna or to try and get them selves pregnant by me so I have to have them as my chosen mate then.. No one will be my Luna or Mate other than you.. I promise you that babe." I can see that he is worried for my reaction but he doesn't need to be.

"I don't know what came over me or Eva.. I felt so possessive of you then.. That you was mine and no b***h has the right to say anything like that to you.. Does that come from being mates too because I'm not normally that kind of person." I explain my actions as I don't want him to think bad of me or be put off me by that little possessive display of mine.

"Yeah it does.. I took your hand as we went in to the mall because I could see all the males wolves eyeing you up, I also heard a few comments in the pack mind link that the new girl on the territory is smoking hot and they was arguing who was gonna go ask you out first.. I just want to shout she's mine in to the link to shut them the f**k up!.. I was feeling so possessive and protective of you so I took your hand to let every one know you was with me and it also calmed me down and reminded me you was right there beside ME! Not them... It's another part of being mates and you can also feel if your mate was being unfaithful too.. But you don't have to worry about that because I haven't willing kissed another girl in 4 years so I'm not going to start now!" I pick up on him saying willingly.

"Willingly?" I ask.

"Yeah.. A few time a girl has jumped me and kissed me.. I just shove them off but it doesn't stop the fact that they kissed me.. I just hope nothing like that will happen once I am wearing your mark but they could try it to push a wedge between us. That what scares me.. Losing you now I have found you." I can see and almost feel his fear. I will kill any she wolf who tries that!

"You wont lose me over that.. Just swear to me that you will only be with me once we are marked and umm.. M-Mated!.. Beside I will rip there heads off so after the first one dies.. Hopefully the rest will not even try hahaha... Logan.. Can the Marking be done on its own or does it have to be done at the same time as the ... M-mating?" I ask him.. I struggle to say mating as I now know what it is.

"They can be done at different times.. I'm hoping you will let me at least mark you in a few day.. I can wait for you to be ready for the mating part but I would really like to mark you as mine.. Specially so no other wolves think you available." He says with a nervous edge. 

"Well that's why I was asking.. I've seen how girls look and flirt with you. If your my mate I want them all to know that your no longer free and are taken so when midnight comes and we find out for sure, I want you to mark me and me mark you too.. If your my mate then that's what I truly want for my birthday. For us to mark each other as mates do." I was rambling everything out, I was scared he would want to wait a day or to to be sure this is what I wanted but it is.

"As long as your sure I would love for us to mark each other babe." He leans forward and we kiss again only this time I can feel the passion starting to show in the kiss. We break apart and smile at each other before going back to more normal conversations. We played 20 questions for a while and ordered more drinks. Before we realised it had started to get dark and the café had closed up a while ago.

"Come on princess, Let's get you back. Its gone 8 o'clock and dad will be worried. Plus I want to get a shower and wrap your presents up. There's one or two I want you to open, Just me and you at midnight." I smile and take his hand as we walk back to the pack house. We know loads about each other now and honestly we are so similar it's scary! If I had grown up here I could have seen us being very close with each other. Well we are together now and at midnight we will find out if he is going to be my mate or best friend.. Goddess please let it be mates!...
