The First Ray Of Light! Pt1

Logan's p. o. v

I started to slowly wake that morning to the smell of my mate. I could feel the soft strands of her long hair against my arm and her sweet body curled so close to me. She had moved in her sleep and was now facing me. Her whole body was curled so close.

"Morning Devilin.. How was your first night with our mate in our arms?" I ask him happily.

"Go back to sleep I'm exhausted.. I stayed up talking with Eva most of the night while you humans slept!" I open my eyes and watch Angel as I smile at the snarky attitude of my sleep deprived wolf, When Jake mind links me.

"Hey Logan.. You up man?"

"Yeah why?"

"Ermmm Have you seen Angel at all yet?" I tighten my hold on her a little before replying.

"Yeah.. We stayed up till midnight to know if we was mates for sure or not.. She is by the way and she let me mark her and  She marked me too... She is in my arms as we speak, Why are you looking for her?"  I ask a little defensively.. He didn't say anything about liking her yesterday when I said we was mates.. Is he after my mate? I mention we are both now marked too him to deter him chasing after her.

"Oh Thank Goddess! I'm so pleased for you man.. But You may want to come down stairs before she does.. There are 10 wolves here outside the pack house with more arriving by the minute! All demanding to see the new she-wolf as they feel a pull to her wolf.. They all think she maybe their mate... I have already broken up three fights between them all and linked your dad.. He is on his way back from town but he's going to be about 15 minutes, I don't think I can hold all 10 or more, From getting in the pack house before he gets back and they all DO keep trying to get in to the pack house... I don't want the new Luna seeing these males acting like this, They could jump at her trying to claim her!" I pull my self out from her and throw my clothes on from yesterday.. If any wolf wants to challenge me they can.. I will rip there f*****g throats out.

"Hold them back I will be 30 seconds!"

"Devilin.. Wake f**k up .. Males are here trying to get to Angel thinking she might be their mate!"

"They will NOT Touch what is OURS!.. Eva is MINE and Angel is YOURS.. She's their Luna NOT their f*****g mate!" He growls and I smile as I get to the bottom of the stairs. I see the door shake and a loud bang as Jake comes flying through the door while the door was still closed.. f*****g Male Werewolves!

"ENOUGH!" I shout from the bottom step.

"What the hell is the meaning of all this!" I ask in my Alpha tone. Lincoln steps forward through the door.

"Sorry about that Logan.. Alpha Leon announced that the new girls name is Angel and her birthday party will be tonight, All wolves are welcome to come.. Some started asking if she was the blonde girl seen around the pack yesterday.. When he said she was there was a lot saying they felt a draw like pull to her and thought that she was their mate.. That can't be true because I honestly believe she is mine.. I raced up here to stop them but a few was fighting.. Jake tried to tell us all we are wrong, That I am wrong! But I'm not .. She's mine! I will fight for her even if its against you my friend!" Lincoln says and I growl loud. I pull my shirt off and they all see my mark.

"Your all f*****g WRONG!.. She's MINE! We waited up to midnight last night and found out we was mates.. The draw you all feel is because she is the legendary WHITE WOLF!" I shout back with Devilin growling out his authority in my voice. I freeze when I hear her sweet voice as does every male here. I turn and see her.. f**k ME! She walks down the stairs with combat army camouflage lower riding trousers on and a black sports bra with a black mesh top over it, All her skin is visible and she has a gold handled dagger strapped to her thigh.. She looks like an avenging Angel as she walks down the steps... Her hair is tied up high and she only has black eye make up and a clear lip gloss on.. She looks as sexy as hell.. I can clearly see my mark on her neck with my name written through the center .. That's My woman, My mate, My Luna and My Queen! She stops a few steps up from me and looks around. I watch as her body tenses and she moves down one more step and stands ready to fight if attacked.

"What the hell is going on?" She asks me but watches the room.

"These all saw you yesterday and felt a pull to you... Did you feel a pull to anyone but me?" I nervously ask her.. s**t! What if she did?

"No .. I only felt you and believe me, I saw plenty of the lads looking over at me.. No-one felt like you did.. Not even the smallest ounce of a pull!" She says and takes my hand in hers. I exhale a little. Thank f**k!

"You all heard her.. She didn't feel a pull to anyone but me.. She is the white wolf.. Many wolves will feel a pull to her because of that.. She is NOT anyone's mate but MINE!.. She will be your Luna as I will be your Alpha." I state factually and pull her closer to me. She wraps her arms around my waist and I hold her under one arm but still being prepared if anyone attacks.

"Angel.. Look at me.. Do you not feel any pull to me?" Lincoln asks her directly. She turns her head and looks him straight in the eyes.

"No, I'm sorry I don't.. I remember seeing you as we entered the mall I think, But I didn't feel any pull then either.. I have felt a pull to Logan even when I heard his voice before he came out the back door yesterday.. I felt it more when our eye met after and when he shook my hand, I nearly jumped him.. So I can honestly say I have NOT felt any of that with anyone else, Ever!" She speaks nice and softly but there is also a power of command in her voice too.. I know she feels bad for Lincoln but she grips tighter to my back. I can't believe she felt what I did yesterday too!

"I marked Logan early hours of this morning and he marked me too.. I'm HIS!" She says with finality and pointing to my mark that sits proudly on her neck. I watch as the look of hurt crosses his face followed by Anger. I know what's coming so I link Jake who is standing on her other side.

"Grab her, Jake!" I push her toward him as he goes to grab hold of her.

"Back the f**k OFF!... She said she isn't yours!" I get in front of her and in his face. I keep myself in check as I must be level headed at all times with me being the future Alpha, Even if a wolf stands there trying to get to or take my mate from me..

"I challenge you Logan.. You haven't mated her yet.. I challenge for the Hand and Right to mate Angel!" He growls in my face.

"Accepted.. Will now do?" I ask.

"NO!.. NO.. Logan... You don't need to I have already accepted you.. I don't want anyone else!" I hear her cry as Lincoln nods removing his shirt and walks out.. I step back towards her and take her face gently in my hands and kiss her. I need to calm her panic and reassure her.. I know she fears losing me as she did everyone else in her life.. She really doesn't need this today of all days.. So soon after losing her human step parents too! Can nothing be easy for her? Please Moon Goddess ease up on the trials you are putting her through? I silently ask the Goddess as I wipe a few stray tears that start to fall.

"It doesn't matter.. Well it does to me, I knew you accepted and want me... I accepted and desperately want you too... But This is a challenge...  If I back out, I lose my claim on you!.. I have to fight him, I hope I wont have to kill him and can make him surrender but if not, I will kill him Angel.. YOU are Mine! You always will be.. I'm an Alpha and well trained.. Don't worry... Jake, Please keep her in here, I don't want any of the others trying to take off with her while I fight.. Guard your future Luna well!.. Stay in here for me please.." She nods and I kiss her one last time... I hear her sweet voice before I walk through the door.

"Remember your promise! ... Don't leave me or let anyone take you from me Logan.. I wont survive your loss!.. I'm already falling for you too, I heard you last night before I fell asleep and I want you to know something before you go... I'm already falling in love with you too!" I hear the tears in her voice but the fact she heard me last night makes me and Devilin want to fight harder for her.. We will not EVER Surrender.. He will have to kill me. Dad pulls up as I walk out the door in to yard. I don't stop and feel him following me to the clearing ahead. Once I stop near all the male wolves and one that I once called a friend he speaks.

"What the hell is going off.. I can't even fetch my future daughter in law a present for her birthday with out all hell breaking loose?" He growls looking around at all the males angrily!

"Dad.. They all think Angel could be their mate after you announced her party.. They came up here, I showed them her mark and that she also wears mine! But Lincoln cant accept it and has challenged me for her.. I WILL fight for her!" I tell him.

"Lincoln what the HELL?.. She's my son's mate NOT yours!.. You will find your own mate one day.. Leave my daughter in law alone!" He growls back. I put my hand against his chest to stop him charging forward.

"NO.. She is MINE! Your so called son and my supposed friend.. Has stolen her for him self away from me! Warped her mind in to thinking she is his because he felt a small pull like everyone else did! But I feel a HUGE pull to her... I know she is mine and not you or him are going to tell me different, Even Max says she is ours.. My wolf would not want anyone but HIS Mate!.." He states 

"The white wolf will be ours and I will take your sons place as future Alpha!" I hear Max his wolf, Taking over Lincolns voice for a moment .. Saying the white wolf will be his..

"This is all Maximus.. His wolf is so power hungry he is lying to his human!.. I will RIP HIM APART!!!" I have never felt Devilin so angry before.. I hope he keeps control through all this.

"Devilin.. You cannot give yourself over to the rage.. Or You could end up hurting Angel and Eva after we win as you or I, wont be in our right minds.. We CAN NOT forcefully mate her after!" I remind him. Hopefully he will hear me still through his anger.

"I know.. I wont give in to it.. BUT I will use it to kill that bastard!" I feel a little relief at that. The men all circle and dad comes to the center.

"If any wolf wishes to challenge after, They will have to make it known AFTER The fight to the challenger that wins.. The challenges will be held in order of challenged and only one will be held a day in each form.. One in human and one in wolf.. Challengers choice, Till all but one challenger will be left.. Today, Lincoln has challenged for my sons POSITION and The HAND, As well of, All rights to mate Angel Jackson, Future Luna to the Shadow Pack!.. Challenger.. Human or wolf?" Dad asks.

"WOLF!" He smiles like he has already won. 

"Your up Devilin!"

"GOOD!" I let Devilin forward and he pulls my face in to a wicked smile and I see Lincoln falter a bit.

"SHIFT!.. I will NOT let you take MY EVA!" Devilin commands in my voice mixed with his and Lincoln shifts...

Devilin's p. o. v

I growl the command to shift and Lincoln transforms in to Maximus. I see him snarling at me but I smirk and shift too.. He thinks he can beat me because I have helped him train.. I have let him get hits in and knock me back a bit to help him learn where to land the best shots.. He has never fought me or Logan properly with us letting loose on his stupid ass! I stand to my full height and let my aura fully out, Everyone takes a few steps back and even our father has never fully felt the full force of us. I always keep it in check and only let enough out to command my authority but he has truly pissed me the f**k off this time! I will keep this short and sweet so all the other males know NOT to issue a challenge to me or Logan again for our girls.. Goddess My Eva and Angel will be so hurt if anything happens to us and I will not let that happen.. They have lost enough already by their young age of 18.

"Ready.. Fight!"  Dad shouts and moves from the center.

"I will take her from you Devilin.. You know I have surpassed the training you have given me.. So just submit!"

"Really because I don't ever remember fully letting myself go in training.. I allowed you to land the hits you did to teach you the best place to land them.. We have never let you truly ever win, With either of us.. Or are you so stupid that you do really believe that you can actually beat me!"  I ask with a wolfish laugh as we circle. I see him question himself for a moment and charge. I have never charged at him before, Always letting him think through his moves and then attack me.. Not anymore. He rears up as I close in on him fast, Our speed has always been unmatched.. Maybe we are so much stronger than others,  Because we will need to be to keep up with Angel and Eva but also so we can protect them too? Teeth and claws clash but I only allow him to scratch me a little. He doesn't cut me deep at all but I on the other hand rip my claws  down his chest and anywhere I can connect to fur or skin. We snap at each other back and forth till I get a good grip and throw him to the side. I let my teeth pull through the fur and taste his blood, I am still not satisfied though. I run back as he stands and jump on his back I sink my fangs deep and shake my head, Ragging against his skin around his throat. I hear him whimper in pain and as he collapses, I let his body drop. I step back and dad runs to check if he is dead or just unconscious. As he does that I walk around the circle making eye contact till they submit and look down. I speak in to the mind link.

"I am DEVILIN.. Logan's wolf.. We are your Alpha...  If any of you puppies want to challenge for MY mate and Luna.. Challenge now!.. I am uninjured and can fight all of you here and NOW!.. Step forward pups and make your challenges?" None step forward but go down on one knee before me. I nod once and turn back to father.

"Is he alive or dead?" 

"Alive but close to death.. What do you want to do with him?"

"Send him to the pack hospital.. Heal him and turn him rogue.. He can't be trusted to stay in the pack and I wont kill a wolf while he is down, No matter what he has done!" I sense Angel coming out the house, She has clothes for me and runs to me. I run to her and she grabs my dark fur, Crying. I lift my paw and put it around her pulling her close. 

"She needs us right now, I'll come forward and shift back.. We can go for a run later for you to spend some time with Eva." Logan says and I follow my humans wishes.. If he says he will go for a run with Eva later I know he will try every thing to make that happen. I step back from Angel and shift...
