The First Ray Of Light! Pt 2

Angel's p. o. v

I Could hear the fighting out side and Jake pulled me in to a hug.. What if I lost him and that Lincoln man wins.. I don't want to mate with anyone but Logan! I should have a choice to reject him, Will he force me to be with him.. Please beat him Logan and come back to me! I send a silent prey up to the Gods and Goddesses above, Anyone that will listen will do!

"Calm down Angel.. Logan will beat him, Don't worry.. I promise you he will win!" Jake says as he rubs my pack. 

"I want to go out and fight too.. I am trained! Why must they fight? It should be my choice, I don't want anyone other than my mate Jake!" I tell him and try to move to the door again. Jake took me to fetch Logan some clothes for after he shifts back and I grip them tightly in my hands and hold them to my chest.

"It's done the fights over.. Come on let's go out to Logan.. He won!" I jump out his arms and run to the door way that now has no door in it. I see his big black as midnight wolf and I instantly know that wolf is Logan. He turns to look at me and I run from the door to him, Seeing me coming towards him he runs to me. We meet in the yards out side the house as he was a lot faster than me being in his wolf form. I grip his neck and sink my face in to his fur. Once again the flood gates open, He kept his promise not to leave me or let anyone take him away from me. The relief is overwhelming and he shifts to his human form and holds me in his arms. Keeping one arm around me he uses the other to put the basket ball shorts on and lifts me in his arms to walk back to the house. 

"Shhh... Angel I'm here!.. Look I'm perfectly ok! Come on lets go back to your room... I'm so sorry this happened on your birthday baby." I pull my face in to his neck and kiss my mark there. I feel him shiver and the smell of arousal from him, It also lights mine up too. This all happened because we aren't mated.. What if some one challenges him for me again? Why am I waiting? I can already feel mine and his emotions increasing since the marking and ... I want him.. Now! I see we have reach the bedroom. I kick the door open for him to take me in side. We sit on the bed and I moved to straddle his lap. I look in to his eyes .. What was I waiting for? Is it really worth the wait? 

"Logan.. What the hell happened down there? Why did he challenge you like that.. Shouldn't I chose who I want to be with.. I chose the man the Goddess made for me and that should have been the end of it, It is 2021 after all.. Women have rights!" I feel angry that the fight happened without any thought to what I wanted!

"Babe, I know you have rights and I would never force anything on you.. This is the wolf world however. Males still hold all the power my love, It's just strange for you as you didn't grow up around all this... If I had refused the challenge, He would have taken you and I wouldn't have been able to stop him, I would lose my claim over you and my mark would disappear.. He would have taken you and mark and mated you forcefully as that would be his right.. I don't agree with it either .. They are very old wolf laws... He shouldn't have even known about them as its only taught to the Alpha and higher ranking wolves to be made aware of them in case other higher officials from other packs invoke the old laws.. Besides Devilin thinks this was all because of Maximus, Lincolns wolf... He's always been power hungry and we suspect that he lied to Linc about you because your the white wolf... He thought by being mated to you he would become all powerful.. No-where in the stories does it mention about your mate becoming powerful.. Me and Devilin are already more powerful that other wolves before you came to the pack.. Yes, You being in the pack gives the pack benefits but nothing like Maximus was thinking.. I didn't kill him though.. I ripped his throat and he was bleeding out, He lost consciousness and I couldn't just let him die.. I sent him to the hospital to be healed and then banished from the pack. He will have a chance to join another pack and hopefully find his mate." He explains.. It always comes back to how special me and Eva are.. I guess some wolves will always crave power.

"Ok.. He was able to challenge you because we aren't mated, Wasn't he?" I ask already knowing the answer to this. He nods but doesn't say anything.

"Well, Why are we waiting.. I know why I was but the reasons I have no long work for me anymore.. I almost lost you as well today and I don't want that to ever be a chance of happening again.. I have lost so much so why not be with who I want? I am letting my human Ideals hold me back as well as my own fears.. Humans say that sleeping or mating with someone this fast is a sluttish thing to do but that's not true for werewolves is it?" I ask and explain what is going on in my head.

"No.. We tend to be with our true mates straight away as we don't ever want to be separated from them again... Its why I asked to stay with you last night and I want to tonight and every night after." He says and kisses me slowly again.. I pull back as I need to tell him I'm ready for this.. I am a werewolf and I am going to follow my heart like Kyle and Kathrine asked me too... I understand what they meant now about finding a true love.. He fills apart of me I didn't even know I was missing and I never want to be apart from him again. I can face the world with him at my side, The hollowed emptiness is bearable and I can deal with the grief now I have him, He makes it all easier and allows me to breathe through all my overwhelming emotions. I square my shoulders as I take a deep breath and pull all my courage and confidence in to me.

"Logan.. I want you to mate me.. I learned today that life can change so fast.. I don't want us to hold back because of stupid human Ideal's that being that intermit with someone so fast is sluttish.. We are wolves not humans, and I want my mate!" I tell him.

"I want you too Angel but I don't want you to wake up tomorrow and wish you had waited.. I am willing to wait and fight any wolf for you.. I will always win baby." He says and kisses along my neck.

"Please Logan.. I really want this.. I wanted it last night but I was to scared thinking it would make me a slut to be with you that fast.. I don't care now.. I just want you!" I am practically begging him.

"Ok.. Tonight I will make you mine.. It will be a first for us both and it should be special between us." I smile and giggle at him.

"Yes!" I pull his face up to mine to kiss him and force him backwards on to the bed. Our hands roam each others bodies as our fingers explore the bare skin we find.

"Stop baby.. Wait for tonight.. If you don't stop I'm going to make you mine right here and now but I want it to be special for us... Come on birthday girl.. You have presents to open and we have a bonfire to sort!" He gets up and pulls me up to my feet. We walk out the room and down the stairs hand in hand. I am actually excited and can't wait for tonight now, I'm so glad a brought a few sexy sets.. I will need some time to make sure I am full prepared for tonight...

Logan's p. o. v

We walk in to the living room and dad pulls Angel over to grab some presents off the table. He chats away with her as I watch her laughing. I wish her parents was all here to watch her like this but they aren't. I take pictures on my phone with out her seeing and start to talk to Devilin.

"I'm going to get her to go for a run with me after this.. I need a promise from you.. I know you love Eva as I do Angel but they are still virgins and if you mate Eva before I do Angel.. You could leave her in to much pain for tonight... Let me take Angel first please man?" I need Devilin to promise me this.. I will for a run with her later and I will also set up One of the joint family rooms on the Alpha floor.. It will be our new room together! Our first time will be in OUR room in OUR bed!

"Fine!.. Put I will mark Eva as a wolf.. Eva asked me to last night.. She says it will bring us all closer and strengthen the mate bond between all four of us." I let out a small silent sigh of relief at that.

"Thank-you Devilin.. Now who can we ask to help us set the room up for us for later? Maybe cousin Kate?.. I think her and Angel could get on really well.. Angel could do with a good girl friend to talk with!"

"Yes and Kate's wolf Mirror is nice too.. Link them.. Now let me rest and watch our girl!" He growls back like his grumpy self.. he talks a lot more in sentences now we have Eva and Angel.. She is already changing us for the better with out realising it.. I think that is the true effect of the white wolf on a pack.. She radiated love and calm with out knowing she is doing it.. Making everyone around her happier.. Its been a long time since I have seen dad like this, He has tried not to show it but I know he still hurts over mum. This is the most I have seen him smile and laugh. I link through to Kate.

"Hey Kate.. You there?"

"Yeah.. What's up?"

"Well don't know if the information has spread yet before tonight's announcement.. But I found my mate! It's Beta Nick and Leanne's daughter Angel.. She came back here yesterday and We felt and instant connection so we waited up for midnight and we are mates!" I smile as I tell her.

"I had heard you found your mate but I didn't know it was Angel.. Is she still a beautiful as she was as a kid?.. I'm so pleased for you Cuz!" I can hear the excitement in her voice too... She knows all I ever wanted was my mate at my side.

"Thanks.. I want you to come to the pack house to meet her now.. quick info run down.. Nick and Leanne took her to hid in the human world when she shifted in to the white wolf on her 3rd birthday... I still remember it .. The was attack and killed but left Angel with their human friends till she was 18.. They was attacked a few days ago and killed but her mum alerted us that the rogues was there and we got there in time to save Angel.. It's her birthday today and the BBQ is for her tonight but I am also going to announce her as my mate and future Luna.. I've marked her and she's marked me but we are waiting for tonight before going further.. I want to make it special and take her to our room tonight.. Can you help me out?" I explain as I don't want to have to talk about it in front of Angel and drag up painful memories.. For the moment she has forgot about the pain and grief and is enjoying her birthday.

"yeah.. I was already on my way to yours to see you and find out why you hadn't told me about your mate yet.. But I can forgive you.. Hold on what's all this about Linc challenging you this morning?" Kate asks, She must have heard what happened from one of the guys that was here.

"Oh.. With Angel  being the white wolf.. A few males felt a pull to her yesterday when I took her out to get to know her a little.. When dad said it was her birthday they all came up here and Linc challenged me for the rights to her.. I didn't kill him but I have banished him.. I think it was all his wolf Maximus's fault."

"Right, I'll be there in a moment anyway." She says. We all hear the door and she walks in to the living room. She squeals and runs to jump on me, Throwing her legs around me in a hug. I catch her but we all stop when we hear I loud growl. I put Kate down and turn to see the pain in Angel's eye's.. s**t! She must think we are or have been intermit or Kate is trying to steal me. 

"What the HELL!" She shouts

"Get the f**k OFF!" She moves to get at Kate when I grab her around the waist to hold her to me..

"Angel.. Angel stop fighting me... She's my Cousin!" She stops thrashing in my arms and looks up at me. I smile and kiss her in front of everyone.. She turns around to see a smiling Kate.

"She's gonna be a great addition to the family!.. So perfect for you Logan!" Kate laughs and Angel blushes.

"I'm so sorry.. It's just I have seen so many girls after him.. One at the café yesterday practically sat her self in his lap while I was sitting right at the side of him.. I told her if she wanted to keep her teeth she better f**k off!" She laughs and I know that was all a nervous ramble.. She does that a lot when she is nervous.

"Good!.. You fight for your man.. As he doesn't seem to want to introduce me and instead just wants to watch you lovingly, I will introduce my self.. I'm Kate.. My parents died in a rogue attack so Uncle Leon raised me with Logan." Kate says walking closer to us now Angel has calmed down.

"Oh I'm so sorry.. I lost my human adoptive parents a few days ago.. If you ever need to talk.. I'm always here." Angel steps forward and takes Kate's hand. I feel the comforting aura she is releasing.. I wonder if she knows that she is doing that?

"Wow! I feel so light from the grief that I never dealt with after you took my hand.. How did you do that?" Kate says in awe.

"I didn't know I was doing anything.. I just wanted you to know I was here if you needed me.. I mean, Now I am marked your my new family too!"

"We are so going to be best friends.. Unless you already have one?.. I hope you like training and everything like that.. I'm not a shopping and gossip kind of person.!" Kate's says. I watch smiling as I knew these two would be great together.

"Thank god! Neither am I!.. Give me a blade, Gun or assault course's any day over shopping!" They both laugh.

"Well we have warrior partners and I haven't found a girl that I like to be my second yet.. What do you say.. I can be your second and you be mine.. We can meet up tomorrow and test each others skills and if we gel together or not.. If we do we will get the warrior bond brand which will link us together.. !" Kate say's and I stand in shock.. Kate always said she didn't need a second.. Not that she couldn't find someone she liked enough to gel with!

"I'd love too.. And No I don't have a best friend.. I only had human friends before coming here so you would be my first one.. May as well make you the best one too Hahaha!" They laugh and I love it.. 

"Thank Goddess you both get along!.. I thought you would." I Stand behind Angel and take her in my arms. She leans back and looks up at me, She should feel the pride and Happiness I have for her as well as all my love.. I will tell her I love her tonight, Right before I make her mine. I lean down and kiss her soft rose petal lips and then smile. I here a sound near the door and look up.. Dad stands there with an older lady at his side, I realise its Amanda. I'm puzzled to why he had an arm around Amanda shoulders, Like he is the only thing keeping her standing... What happened to Amanda? but I see she gasps at the sight of Angel.

"ANGEL!" She shouts out and the tears start to drop from her eyes. Angel looks at her confused and I look between the two of them.. They look similar in ways.. The hair colour and nose are the same.

"Oh thank the goddess, Thank you Leon for reuniting me with Leanne's daughter.. My beautiful grand-daughter!" I smile and Angel runs to her arms.. She now has a long lost family member!..
