When I got back from Black Blood, I was a bit relieved. Aria had already found her mate and didn’t want anything to do with me, for which, I was thankful. Jessica had left a letter for me with my butler.

My Grandmother has fallen ill and my family has gone to visit her for at least a week. We have a visitation pass from Mountain Creek Pack where my Grandparents live. I will miss you greatly and promise to come back as soon as I can.

I roll my eyes selfishly. It would be a whole two weeks before I finally get to see Jessica. My thoughts bring me to her sick Grandmother and I immediately regret my selfish reason for not wanting her gone. She should see her Grandmother in case anything were to happen.
