Amara: The Forbidden Child

Chapter 12

Amara’s POV

We are staying at Mama Madeline’s house Amos said that there is some type of structural damage at the house, so we needed somewhere to stay, It turns out that Mama Madeline is a witch and that she was instructed by my father to keep an eye out and help me out. I am shocked to find out how many people my father really had watching me over the years, Zelda, Raven, Callie, Amos, and Madison are from all different species of supernatural beings all of the have some type of tie to have been sworn to protect me at all costs, because I am forbidden child a child that is supposed to bring the ultimate balance or be the ultimate destruction of this world.

We finally decided on a training schedule and the different methods I am going to train in, we are going to train for 4 to 5 hours a head, I get to work with each of the different species Witch, Vampire, Angel, Demon and Wolf, I am learning their strengths and their weaknesses, I am learning how to fly, and land use my wings for defense purposes. I have Mama Madeline told me she thinks that Zoey is my guardian horse, she the horse that was assigned to me like my familiar, I have been able to work on control my magic better too Zelda is an amazing teacher I didn’t know that she was that talented with her magic, she uses a lot of crystal magic and Mama uses elemental magic, and I use potion and spells, Zelda hasn’t learn how to cast spells without using the words yet even the ones she knows and can cast without any issues so I am showing her how to do that. Mama is showing me how to use me witches’ eye or my witch’s glass.  Amos has been teaching me how to block and counterattack demon mist and attacks, I thought that was pretty amazing and Raven is showing me how to slow down Vampire when they are at super speed.

I was learning how to take down a wolf in human form and in wolf form. I have to say everything I was learning, and training wasn’t as easy as most people might think. I was worked hard and pushed I have learned things I never thought was possible. My father should be here in the next couple of day, and I wonder what he has planned to teach me when he does get here.

Amos’s POV

So I have been working with Amara, teaching how to defend herself against demons how to fight off our mist and how she can he witch magic to disable a demon. She has been working with everyone and she has become pretty good at it she hasn’t given up on training and she seems to be pushing herself harder every day to learn more and master the skill set. My dad send me a message telling me that we need to be on alert because he believe that someone will try to attack and maybe even hurt Amara or kidnap her. Her said that his father is the main target because something to do with they believe that he is the key. Not a lot of people know that she exists and that she is the key, so they are still after Zadkiel. My dad says that he doesn’t believe that any demons or any of the kings of hell have anything to do with it or the witches, vampire, wolves, or angel. He think it might be a shapeshifters or the Jinn’s or the hunters. Mama Madeline put a new cloaking and protection spell on the place with the help of Queen Charlotte and Zelda. Raven is starting to get antsy she doesn’t like to stay in one spot for long and I can tell that she is craving blood too that she wants to feed on a human and if Amara finds out she is going to lost it.

Raven has been doing this for years now every couple of months she goes and finds herself a person she can glamour and fed off of and then she loses control when she does that Amara doesn’t like it or approves of it, and I know that is what is wrong with her now. I think I am going to have to take her out and let her get her blood, so Amara doesn’t find out.

“Raven, your dad just called me and told me that he needs to talk to you.” I came up with a lie to take her into town for a few hours because I don’t need Amara mad at her.

“Are you serious did he say why.”

“No, just that when I go and see Kodi to drop you off to him.” I told her I was hoping she would figure it out with out making Amara start asking questions.

“Okay, well give me 20 minutes and I will be ready.” She tells me

I was glad that she caught the hint without making Amara ask questions.

“Mara, I am going to take Kodi to dinner and see if she wants to come stay for a few days, but I also have to take Raven to see her day so we will be back in a few hours.”

“Okay Amos, I am going to go take Zoey out for a ride, with Callie if she wants to go with me.”

“Of course, I am going with your silly girl.” Callie says as she wraps her arms around my waist.

“You guys have fun we I see you in a few hours.” I tell Mara then I start yelling for Raven.

“Raven, come on.”

“I’m coming lord.” She come stomping down she gives Mara and hug.

“I will see you later, I don’t know if I will be back tonight or not, but I will be here for training tomorrow. I love you, Mara. Text me later.”

“Will do, love you too tell your parents I said hi please.”

“Will do.”
