Amara: The Forbidden Child

Chapter 13

Zadkiel POV

I think that I might have the location of the amulet and the weapon that she will need to weld. I told Callie that I would be there in a few days so I guess I need to head to them because Amara, is the only one that can retrieve the weapon and I know that now and I still have to train her, I have been able to still keep her existence a secret which is good because I don’t want anyone to know about her, it will make it so much easier when the time comes, and we have to train hard and I need to help her unlock her powers because I want to make sure that she will be able to control and harness any new power that she might unlock. I have to also teach her how to mask her powers and herself from the ones that we don’t want to know that we are around that is hard for an angel to do normally, it took me many eons to do. Callie has been doing a great job with her so far, I will be amazed if she is doing better than I think. I guess I better head out to Mistbrite I know she is staying with Madeline.  I have a really hard time trying to blend in with the humans, but since I am going to a location where there are others like me, I will just shimmer there.

Amara’s POV

I was sitting outside by the stables writing in the journal it was a very beautiful day, the sun was out it was too hot yet, I was  thinking about the way everything has changed for in the last few weeks, going from being a witch that has special abilities  or just very keen and smart to finding out that I was next in line for the Witches throne , to finding out that I am a rare creature, I always heard stories told about Nephilim and what kind of rare beings they are, but I never in a million years would of thought that I was one. I want to learn more about my family about my dad, I want to get answers about my mother as well because I think that them was more to her then anyone is telling me, I want everyone to stop thinking I am going to shatter if they tell me.  While I was sitting there writing I felt a chill come down my spine I didn’t know what it was, so I just shrugged it off and kept writing when I hear a voice.

“Excuse me, Miss?”

I look around and don’t see anything then I hear it again.

“Excuse me, Miss.”

This time I get up and I turned around and when I did, I seen a guy standing there he looked lost, but I was going to help him the best way I could.

“Hi, how can I help you.”

“I’m looking for Ms. Madeline?”

“Sure, let me take you to her.”

I stop with the horse, and I walked to the guy over to Mama Madeline’s office and I knocked on her door.

(Knock, Knock)

“Come in!”

“Oh Amara, I thought you were the new farm hand.”

“Oh no, I think I might have the person you’re looking fo though.”

I looked behind me and waved him in and her face lite up she got up from her chair and went over and hug the guy, I was lost because, the guy did look like he was a day older then 25 or 26 and she was hugging him like he was an old friend. She starts giggling when she got done and she has whispered something to him, and he nodded and then she finally said.

“Amara, what was that look for.”

“Nothing Mama.”

I was just confused, and she didn’t need to know that, as she is getting ready to talk again her comes Callie.

“Amara, there you are.” She kisses me and she gets ready to talk when she looks like she seen a ghost.

“Callie, are you okay.”

“Yeah.”  She wrapped her arms around me and then Madeline went on talking.

“Amara, I would like you to meet Zadkiel, your father.”

The look on my face, I was trying to hold back the tears, I couldn’t believe that my dad was standing in front of me.

“Amara, you look just like your mother, you have her eyes, and my hair.”

“She has her mother’s ways to Zadkiel, her mom would be proud of her.”

“May I?”

He asks to give me and hug and nodded he walked over and engulfed me in a big hug I was crying I was so happy that after all these years I finally get to see my father.

“Baby girl, you don’t need to be crying.” He says as he was wiping tears from his eyes as well.

While we were hugging and crying together, we hear Amos and Raven and Queen Charlotte coming up the driveway, that is when dad looked up and she seen him, and she yells with a big smile.

“King Zadkiel, is that really you, your grace?”

“Yes, Queen Charlotte it is I.”

“Uncle?”

“Amos, my child you have grown so much.”

My dad was having a happy and exciting reunion with everyone he held close to his heart when we all got done hugging and catching up Zelda came and said

“Food is done we are eating at the restaurant today.”

We all walked to short path to the restaurant and when we got over there Mama Madeline had a huge surprise setup for my dad, all his allies were celebrating his return.

“All Hale KING ZADKIEL AND CROWN PRINCESS AMARA!” the crowd busted into cheer.

We all sat down and ate and when we were done, dad was talking and catching up with his friends, his allies his daughter’s protectors. Then my dad finally broke free and he comes over and he asks me.

“Amara, so when will you be ready to take your rightful place at the throne, have you found your mate, where is he?”

“Yeah, dad aunt Charlotte said I could wait until I finished school, and yes, dad I have my mate is Callie.”

“Wow, really that is good Callie is an amazing angel, I am glad you were blessed with her.”
