Spoiled

{Miles POV} I’m still trying to figure out what happened. I came back from a vacation with Lola, when I noticed a strange woman on our couch. I tried to ask who she was, but she didn’t answer me. I pushed her off the couch, then all he** broke loose. It was a long car ride to the hospital, where my brothers yelled at me the entire way there. Once I finally grasped the fact that she was our younger sister, I felt like pure sh**. I called our mom, and tried to apologize, she told me that I needed to apologize to Adelynn. “I’ll apologize as soon as we get there. I’m sorry ma.” I said, but before I could say anything else she hung up the phone. “This is why you should keep your phone on you, and turned on at all times!” Theo said, crossing his arms over his chest. I scoffed, rolling my eyes. “It’s not like I knew that our sister was switched at birth, and still alive, but seriously injured for whatever reason!” I snapped. “I didn’t expect things to go to sh** while I was gone! I just wanted a week away from everything with Lola!” It was Theo’s turn to scoff, as he sat forward, getting closer to me. “You mean your bratty girlfriend wanted a week away at your expense!” “Lola is from a prominent family, they’re rich theirselves, she doesn’t need my money!” I was beginning to see red. “Yeah, but it doesn’t stop her from taking it!” Liam rolled his eyes. “I’m tired of you guys acting this way about her! I love her! We’ve been together for a year, and I plan on asking her to marry me, so get used to seeing her around!” I shouted, sitting back in my seat and crossing my arms. I pulled out my phone and saw five missed calls, and about 40 messages from Lola. I sighed and dialed back her number. “Hey..” I said softly. She gasped as though she’d been crying. “Honey bear! I called and messaged so many times! Gina said that she saw an ambulance leave your house! I was so worried!” She whimpered. “Don’t worry baby, I’m okay! It’s a long story, but I’ll explain later. You and I can go have dinner, and I’ll explain everything, okay?” I smirked, knowing her, she was already mentally picking out what to wear. “Okay boo bear! I’ll see you later then, pick me up at 7:00!” She giggled before hanging up the phone. I put my phone down into my pocket as we pulled up to the hospital. We saw our parents leaving the front door, ma was crying, and pop was trying his best to console her. We hopped out of the car, and Theo ran to hug ma. “What’s wrong ma?” He asked, hugging her gently. “She wants to be alone.. she doesn’t want to talk to anyone..” she whimpered. I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. “So now she’s acting like a spoiled brat? Really?” My father walked over, smacking me across the face. “She didn’t do anything to you, and you pushed her to the ground. She ended up needing stitches, and you broke her spine, again! I don’t blame her for anything that happened. Everything was going fine until you and your temper showed up!” He yelled. My mother sniffled. “He’s right Miles.. you really hurt her, for no reason!” She yelled. “I saw a strange woman in our house, and asked why she was there. When she didn’t answer I pushed her! I didn’t do anything wrong!” I snapped back. Theo sighed and shook his head. “You really messed up Miles, and you said you were sorry, but you’re not! Instead you insult her, and justify your actions. The only brat here is you! You really need to grow up!” He shouted at me, before walking our mother out to her car. I groaned, rubbing my neck, of course they were all against me. They always were against me, this sister was becoming a problem already. I pulled out my phone, and called a buddy of mine to come pick me up. He took me back to my house, and I got dressed, and got my car to go pick up Lola. Once I pulled up to her house, she was already waiting outside for me. She was wearing a tight, hot pink dress, it was short, and showed off her curves perfectly. She stands at about 5’10, 6’2 with heels on, and her bleached blonde hair was pulled up into a high ponytail. “Babykins!” She squeezed as she got into the car. She leaned over hugging me, and kissing my cheek. “I was so worried when you didn’t pick up earlier!” She pouted, buckling up, as we took off. “I’m sorry babe, there was an incident when I got home. Apparently, my sister was switched at birth, and now my family found her and brought her in like a stray.” I sighed. “I thought you always wanted a sister, a sister to spoil. Why are you acting so hostile?” She said, smirking over at me. “She was in some kind of accident, and can’t walk. I didn’t know, so I pushed her off the couch. Now she’s upset and doesn’t want to talk to anyone.” I rolled my eyes. “She’s just some spoiled brat, and honestly I’m sick of her already. Luckily, I have a girl to spoil!” I smiled at her, grabbing her hand and pulling it up to my lips. I kissed her hand softly and drove a little faster. “I’m taking you out to your favorite place, and after, I thought we might go shopping.” She giggled. “Oh honey, you really are the best boyfriend a girl could ask for!” She pulled out her phone and took a picture of the two of us, captioning it with “Best BF ever!!!” As she posted it online.
