I kept trying to get Ace to leave with me. We could go far away with the money we have. We can forget about this place and forget about Mercury. But he insisted on staying. He wants Mercury's spot. He thinks he can do a better job than he does. I was thinking to myself. Does this man know what the hell Mercury does? Probably not. But I kept it to myself. I finally have the man I should have had in the beginning. I have two kids by Mercury. Rachel and Bryce. Bryce will be next in line to be Alpha if Cheyenne died. I know she did. We left her there bleeding all over the place. It pissed me off with her laughing at me. Telling me that I hit like a b***h. I showed her. I kicked her right in the face, knocking her out. That will show her not to say I hit like a b***h. Next time ill take a f*****g silver dagger and jab it in her heart. I have one soaking in silver. Just in case she was still alive. And if she is. She won't be too long because that thing will be right in her heart or right between the eyes.
Cheyenne pov
I was with Aura training. It had been a few days now and I felt like I was getting stronger. The full moon is in another few weeks. That's when I will shift. But I've been hearing them talk to me. I ignored them at first. Because I wasn't sure how to respond to them. I was so used to my other lycan and wolf. So I decided today I would speak with them after my training. The bruising started to go down. And the swelling was gone from my eyes.but I knew I had a lot more to fade away.i s still had red in my eyes. But that won't go away for another few months. I was training with Aura. I remembered her flips and her roadhouse kick. Sending Aura flying toward a tree. But she grabbed a tree limb flipping over it and stood on her feet. She walked over to her.
"Cheyenne, you're doing so much better. And you just started training yesterday. You're a fast learner."
"I've been training for year's Mercury had me train when I was human and when I turned. He said it would make me stronger and make sure I can defend myself when I am alone. And for that I am grateful for that. But I also know after this arena fight. I will need to leave. Because if I don't he will find me. I know his Aura all too well. He will stop at nothing to find me." she still had that idea in her head. If I don't get Mercury here soon then she will run and the. He will never be able to find her. This is going to be harder than I thought it will be.how the hell am I going to reach Mercury. I knew where he was at. I keep tabs on him. I'll have to do it in a few days, maybe after the fight arena. Maybe I can get him here at the arena to watch Cheyenne fight. If I can get his whole family to do it. I had started my plan. I'm sorry Cheyenne but you need your family. In the meantime Aura's mate has been looking for her. He has always gone back to that tree. His father keeps telling him he is sure he will come to him. But she hasn't.
"Right now I don't care what she is. I just want my mate. He had gone to every pack that was in town. All the shewolf threw themselves at him. Claiming to be his mate. But he knew better. "well. Then I think we need to go talk to my dad. I don't think he has any meetings or work to do today. And mom is probably at a Luna meeting. So let's head to the packhouse,"
