Chapter 4

2055 Words
The inmates remained silent under Jaguar's expectant gaze, yet none dared to step forward to accept the challenge. "Boring." Xavier left an indifferent word and stood up to walk away. The inmates turned their gaze toward him. Although the inmates are wary of someone like Jaguar, who clearly isn't to be messed with, they have no fear for a young man like Xavier. An inmate stood up and blocked Xavier's path. "Asshole, stop right there!" Xavier asked coldly, "What do you want?" Pointing to his own feet, the inmate said, "If you want to get past here, lick my toes, hahaha!" Xavier suddenly turned sideways and kicked the inmate violently. The inmate let out a bone-chilling cry and soared through the air. His 220-pound body hurtled across the cafeteria, knocking over three tables in succession over a distance of 30 feet.He struggled to rise from the ground, attempting to speak, but when he opened his mouth, he spat out a large amount of blood mixed with unidentified tissue fragments. Staggering a few steps, he swayed and ultimately fell to the ground, dead. The whole cafeteria burst into commotion as all the inmates stared at Xavier in terror. Xavier's sudden strike was so powerful that he actually kicked a man weighing over 220 pounds to death! Jaguar's gaze toward Xavier revealed a hint of newfound respect. What was impressive about Xavier's kick wasn't just the explosive strength it involved. The kick was both brutal and lightning-fast. The moment his foot made contact with the inmate's body, all his strength was unleashed at once, destroying the inmate's internal organs. Jaguar rose and exited the cafeteria behind Xavier. In the corner of the cafeteria, a police officer with a determined expression smiled faintly. "Two savage beasts have newly arrived at the Death House. This is interesting. Go, fetch me the detailed profiles of these two." *** Exiting the cafeteria, Xavier stepped into the yard. It was summer, and the yard was carpeted with lush green grass. Jaguar, who was approximately 300 feet away from Xavier, wore a mysterious smile with his arms crossed as if awaiting some entertaining spectacle. Inmates started streaming out of the cafeteria in small groups. Contrary to what Jack had said, they didn't engage in any brawl. There was no chaos, not even anyone speaking loudly. The inmates gathered around Xavier, waiting for something to happen. Xavier, seemingly unaware of the danger, calmly watched the clouds in the sky. Minutes later, a stout man with a crew cut walked towards Xavier, flanked by more than seventy inmates. Approaching Xavier, the stout man said, "Let me introduce myself. I'm Mason Powell. I work with Chalk, the boss of Block F. You know who he is, I assume. You can call me Mason if you prefer." Xavier smiled faintly and said, "Hello, I'm Xavier. Is there anything I can do for you?" One of Mason's lackeys snapped, "f**k, who the hell you think you are, talking to Mason like that?" Mason waved his hand, signaling the person to be quiet. "Xavier, I don't care who you used to be or what groundbreaking things you've done. Now that you're here, you have to follow our rules. Your act of killing without warning has seriously violated our rules. So..." Xavier asked coldly, "So, what do you want me to do?" Mason calmly stated, "So, you need to apologize to every person here and then chop off two of your own fingers. Come on, bro, be a man and do it yourself." Xavier shook his head indifferently, "I don't want any trouble. I just want to live quietly by myself. If you want to stay alive, leave on your own. I don't want to kill anyone." 'He is simply too arrogant!' Mason thought to himself. Mason furrowed his brow tightly, wishing he could have someone kill Xavier on the spot. But deep down, he knew Xavier wasn't someone who was easy to get rid of! Scarface, one of Mason's lackeys behind him, sneered at Xavier's words. He said disdainfully, "Pfft! You're really cocky! You talk big about killing us, huh? Do you believe that I can just kill you right now?" Narrowing his eyes slightly, a chilling gleam suddenly flashed in Xavier's calm gaze. Sensing impending danger, Mason stepped back astutely while Scarface positioned himself protectively in front of Mason. Xavier said with a chilling tone, "This is my last warning. If you don't want to die, get lost!" Scarface cursed defiantly, "f**k!" Scarface unleashed a swift and brutal spinning kick at Xavier, his movements sharp and fierce. Xavier's lips curled into a sneer. Gripping Scarface's leg with his right hand, Xavier swung him around violently before suddenly releasing him into the air. Scarface soared like a catapulted stone, crashing with a bang into a wall more than 30 feet away. No one could see how Xavier exerted such force clearly, yet Scarface's body was shattered on impact. His bones were shattered, and his head instantly turned to mush. Mason and the others took two steps back, gasping in shock as they stared at the "Scarface pancake" on the wall. The once arrogant Scarface was now a bloody mess, brain splattered. The bloody and gruesome scene caused some to immediately vomit up their breakfast. Xavier said coldly, "I'll say it one last time. I just wanted to be left alone quietly. I didn't want any trouble." Mason roared, "Xavier, you're too arrogant!" He raised his right arm to strike, aiming his fist sharply at Xavier's head. He knew Xavier was tough and not someone to be underestimated. But as the second-in-command of Block F, he couldn't just admit defeat and slink away with everyone watching. For the sake of his reputation, Mason had to defeat Xavier. Thus, he struck with all his might, and his fist emitted a sound akin to a sonic boom. Xavier sneered, raised his fist, and met Mason's fist head-on! His punch landed squarely on Mason's fist. "Clank!" When Xavier's seemingly dainty fist made contact with Mason's enormous fist, a clang reminiscent of metal striking rang out! Xavier stepped back two paces after the clash, leaving two deep footprints on the ground. His expression was calm, and he appeared unharmed. In contrast, Mason stumbled back over a dozen steps, his upper body trembling uncontrollably. His right hand was a mess of flesh and shattered bones, with twisted fingers connected to bones. Unbelievable as it may seem, Mason's full-force strike had ended in complete defeat! Meanwhile, Xavier's merciless strikes, drawing blood with every blow, had caused fear among the inmates. Xavier stared icily at Mason, "When dealing with those who threaten me, there's only one solution. That is to kill them. Otherwise, I'll risk harm to myself and my family. Since you harbor such deep hatred towards me, the safest option for me is to ensure your death!" With a sudden lash of his right foot, Xavier sent a volleyball-sized chunk of dirt flying through the air, hurtling toward Mason. Mason recognized the grave danger he was in. He swiftly dodged and retreated, attempting to distance himself from the threatening Xavier. However, Xavier's speed was faster than a cheetah's. Within a split second, he had leaped in front of Mason and landed both fists on his chest. This time around, Xavier went all out and unleashed all his power. He utilized Jeet Kune Do's "inch power" which he had acquired from his master, which enabled him to generate powerful strikes and swift movements effectively within a very limited space. Mason felt his bones crackling, shattered completely, and his inside began bleeding. He sit on the ground with a vacant stare, trembling uncontrollably. Soon, he began to cough up blood profusely before finally collapsing to the ground in convulsions. Xavier scanned the inmates in the yard with a sweeping, grim gaze. In a deep voice, he warned them, "Anyone who dares to disturb me will face the consequences! Consider yourself warned!" Having finished his words, Xavier turned his right fist into an open palm, delivering a sudden blow to the back of Mason's head. Following an audible plop, Mason's eyeballs shot out from the socket and rolled to an inmate's feet. Witnessing this, the inmate let out a terrified scream and hurriedly backed away. All the inmates stared in horror at the unbelievable sight. To smack a person's eyeballs out with a single palm strike—this wasn't something achievable by sheer strength alone! To achieve this, Xavier had to unleash all his strength accurately the moment he made contact with Mason's head, and the force he exerted had to be penetrating enough to instantly send the eyeballs flying out. This required him to possess advanced martial arts skills, not just brute force. "Clack, clack, clack." A stout, chubby man clapped his hands and approached Xavier with a smile on his face, flanked by several underlings. With a flattering smile, the stout, chubby man said, "Hello, Xavier, my name is Viper, and I call the shots in Block C. Your last strike was truly eye-opening. How about you move to my cell? I assure you'll get the peace and quiet you desire, with no one coming to disturb you. So what do you say?" The kingpin of Block D, Duke, walked over with a mocking expression. "Fatty, trying to recruit Xavier, huh? You didn't get my approval for that, did you?" Viper's expression hardened. "Duke, I didn't mess with you, did I? So you better not come here to provoke me." Duke shrugged and said disdainfully, "Did I provoke you? You're giving yourself too much credit. I'm just here to ask Xavier to join me for coffee. What's it to you?" Viper was about to retort when Jaguar's voice suddenly cut in, "Shut the hell up, you bunch of boring assholes! Get lost!" Jaguar's blunt words caused Duke and Viper to frown at the same time. Their lackeys were obviously enraged by Jaguar's arrogance and glared angrily at him. However, as soon as they turned around, they screamed in fear. Jaguar had suddenly grabbed a giant boulder with one hand and smashed it toward Duke and his group. The giant boulder appeared to weigh more than 180 pounds, which caused the inmates near Xavier to flee in a panic. Viper, with his bulky figure, was literally dragged away from the scene by his underlings. As the boulder soared, Jaguar bellowed and charged at Xavier. When he was less than 15 feet away from Xavier, he leaped into the air and aimed a flying kick at Xavier. Xavier frowned, spun his body rapidly, and sent a kick back at Jaguar. "Thud!" Xavier's body shuddered slightly from the impact of the clash, causing him to retreat over ten steps. His back slammed harshly against the wall with a muffled thud, and a trickle of blood escaped from the corner of his mouth. Jaguar was also knocked backward by the impact of the clash, tumbling several times on the ground before steadying himself. The inmates around them watched the scene unfold with fearful astonishment. It turned out there were more terrifying figures like Xavier in this prison! Jaguar stared at Xavier and said, "I, Jaguar, have aimed for greatness since birth and held honor above life itself... Xavier, you are my new challenge! Let's make a deal." Xavier licked the blood from the corner of his mouth. "What deal?" Jaguar exclaimed loudly, "Xavier, let's have a proper fight. If I win, you can't interfere with anything I do, and you owe me three favors—you'll need to help me three times when necessary. If I lose, I swear, as long as I'm alive, I'll follow you forever, obey your commands, and ensure you can live peacefully." Xavier replied calmly, "What if I refuse?" Jaguar laughed heartily, "Refuse? Haha, as long as you can't kill me, I won't let you live in peace." Xavier shook in resignation. "You know what? You are a nutcase, but... I accept that!" With this declaration, excitement and anticipation surged among the crowd! Both Xavier and Jaguar had proven they possessed the strength to rival the six kingpins, and everyone was eager to find out who was stronger. Both Xavier and Jaguar clenched their fists and eyed each other intensely, poised for an imminent clash!
