I put the cups on the table slamming the cutlery loudly, trying to make as much noise as possible. I heard the two laughings cheerfully in the other room, so I slammed even more on the table and then heard the footsteps coming from my bedroom. I put my hands on my hips and waited for both of them to leave the room.
Next thing I know, Nate shows up with Axel. Nate held him high and twirled him in the air while he laughed cheerfully and kept repeating Dada! Like it was a f*****g mantra.
I took Nate’s cup and slammed it on the table like I was gonna break it, and I kind of did.
"Green envy doesn’t suit you," Nate said as he approached the table and placed Axel in his own eating seat.
