JO THOUGHT THAT MAKING an entrance when going somewhere was better and she did know to make one. The two young women stopped just beyond the threshold after they entered the bar so that the people inside would notice them and have a good look at them.
Nevertheless, although the two women looked stunning together, only a few guys looked their way. All the others were involved in other things and didn't bother to shift their eyes at them.
Ella's hopes plummeted hard. It was hard not to notice the lack of interest, and she barely kept her smile on her lips to save face.
However, among those who did glance, one appeared interested enough to wink at them. Now, Ella didn't know at which one of them he winked, but she smiled brightly at him all the same.
