GUILT SNEAKED IN ELLA's heart for sending Jo away. However, Jo's presence would have ruined the evening. She disliked Mark, and she didn't want that Ella talked to him.
Ella watched Jo leave the bar, and then she turned to Mark. To her surprise, the man had kept his eyes on her, not on her friend. Mark's disinterest in Jo’s long legs astounded her. The man watched Ella intently, and that made her nervous.
“Is anything wrong with me? Maybe I have something on my face," she brushed her fingers over her cheeks. "You’re staring. You know that, don’t you?” she said.
Mark shook his head. “Are you ready to order?" he asked her. "I was ready to order when you arrived. But there you were, so I forgot about food. That doesn’t mean that I’m not still hungry,” he added with
