Elena’s POV
Genesis is good at twisting things, but she had told the truth earlier when she said that she was going to make me disappear. No matter why she was doing it, she had been fully planning on killing me. The whole room could tell how upset she was right now. I think that what she just said to the council was as close to the truth as they were going to get, without them having to place an Alpha command on her. It explained why she had been so angry right off the bat at me though. That was why she kept trying to touch him in front of me to try to get his attention. It was her trying to put his focus on her, and show that he cared for her, but he didn't. I can imagine that hurt quite a bit, even though we both know that she did it to try to hurt me.
