Adrian’s POV
I looked forward to dinner tonight, and I even dressed up, as we had the town hall meeting at 7. I had run into Gabi and asked her if they would sit with me at our new table at 545 for dinner. She smiled and agreed. I knew that Elena was about to cry when she left my office. Her saying that she would talk to me after dinner let me know that she didn't plan on sitting with me at the new table. So I went over her head to ask her mother. I had just sat there in my office trying to figure out how to correct what had happened. Paige was in no way more important to me than Elena was. Elena is my mate, and I will always want her. I knee-jerk reacted last night. So I need to get what I want to say tonight, ready to go right now. I will not mis-speak again. It hurt Elena v
