Ember (POV)
I sat and listened while Seth and Sasha told me what was going on outside. I hated that Sam and Xavier were out there with Dimitri, and I was hiding out in my room. I understand why I was, but it didn't make me feel any better about it. Seth pacing back and forth was not helping either. I wanted to tell him to stop, but was too scared to talk. Sasha jumped up from the chair she was sitting in.
"They are coming."
Wait, who was coming? Was Dimitri coming for me? No, there is no way Sam, Uncle James or Xavier would let him anywhere near me. She must be talking about the guys. I was about to ask who she was talking about, but then the door flew open and Xavier burst through.
