Vampiress and Elf Girl

1938 Words
Koreima bit her lip down to blood in anger. The princess's inattention had finally ruined the vampiress' mood. Elina didn't want to be an obedient student and wasn't trying to learn a new spell. The vampiress was angry at the boy who acted like a fool. Raven ignores the advice of his wise girlfriend and insists on sticking his head in the dragon's mouth. The Baron is spotted in the company of the head of the gnome clan Grab. The foolish human decided to defy Gnograb. Algrin entered the room. The Elfess knew with one glance that she had come to the right place. The princess pretended to be a diligent student waiting for a chance to run away from class. The vampiress was angry and ready to drink all the blood out of the king's daughter. A perfect atmosphere for the cunning daughter of the Eternal Pine clan to play her game. "Koreima, don't be angry with Baron Raven. The boy is doing everything right. You don't understand his plan, but that doesn't mean his plan isn't good," the assassin whispered. "Dan's plan? What plan?" Koreima squinted her eyes and stared at the elfess. She demanded an answer from the insolent rival. "Is Baron Raven up to something? Has he angered Koreima? Why don't I know anything? Tell me," the princess could not sit by and remain silent. "Calm down, Elina. It's none of your business," smiled Algrin. "Koreima, what makes you most angry?" The vampiress looked at the elfess with disdain. What a simple provocation! "I am not angry with him. What makes me angry is that I don't want to take part in a dangerous affair. I cannot afford such a risk. The dragon of Castle Zangar is too dangerous an opponent," the vampiress shook her head. It's okay to admit to being cautious. Admitting intemperance of feelings is a bad tone. "Raven is glad. He's happy that the silly orc and the two lovely girls refused to keep him company," the assassin whispered. Her manner of conversation had always annoyed the vampiress. Algrin acted as if she were walking through a dangerous dungeon. The Assassin speaks softly and always keeps her dagger at the ready to strike her enemy quickly. A dagger appeared in Algrin's hand and the blade fluttered from the play of the experienced assassin's fingers. "Baron Raven wants to kill a dragon in Zangar Castle? How brave he is," marveled the princess. "He is a brave and very cunning human," the elfess confirmed. "He wants to take advantage of the powers of the Eternal Pine and Kor clans. I don't know what to make of his offer." The vampiress, surprised, could not find the words to contradict the elfess' words out of habit. What offer to the Kor clan? Koreima did not understand Algrin's thoughts. "He will undoubtedly defeat the dragon. But then what happens? Castle Zangar is too much prey for Baron Raven," Algrin grinned and stated her basic idea. "How will he confirm the title viscount? Dan is no fool. He's an ordinary inexperienced young gentleman. He needs the help of experienced citizens. Dhroll and his tribe? Ha, the boys enjoy fighting each other. But the baron will not count on the elders of the rabid orcs to run the household. The Baron is no good with gnomes. Vampires or elves? Who will help the foolish human?" "I will help the Baron! He is a subject of Papa and I must help him," the princess jumped up from her chair and clapped her hands. She would be able to do a favor for this mysterious baron who acts like a humble mouse. The baron doesn't show up at the palace for the aristocrats' dinner and tell them how he spent his day. He must have many interesting stories about the exploits he performs during the day. The two girls looked at the princess-like she was a fool. Sometimes Elina acted like a child. Of course, for a vampiress and an elven girl, the age of the princess was too insignificant and ridiculous. A princess could be forgiven for many foolish things. But sometimes the young girl's naivety annoyed the experienced aristocrats. "The baron cannot count on the experience of courtiers. King Arador has not yet put things in order. No one would be distracted to help an outsider," the vampiress said calmly. But Koreima thought about the elf girl's words. It made sense. A castle is not just a large structure. A castle is the foundation of possession. Possession is the ability to dispose of resources. In ancient times, Zangar Castle belonged to an old clan of gnomes of the Grab family. A deadly dragon monster attacked the castle and killed all the gnomes. Now the gnomes cannot use the mines, which have turned into dungeons full of dangerous monsters. But in these dungeons, there is no way! Only he who owns the castle can open the way to the abandoned mines for the brave adventurers Grossroads. Koreima wagged her finger at her rival. "Algrin, you make a very bold assumption. Dan is a common mortal. That creep has already upset me twice! And the first time it was all your fault. You're the one who dragged my delicious swordsman into the damned Tower of Destiny. He died and I had to give up his blood for a while. He's so delicious," the vampiress licked her lips. She paid no attention to the two girls, who wrinkled their faces in unpleasant emotion. You can't let a vampire talk about blood. Blood is a sacred thing for a vampire. A vampire loses control and becomes out of hand when it comes to blood. "I helped a nice young gentleman get a title. I am a good and kind girl," objected the elf girl. "Algrin is good! The baron is good, too. Nothing wrong with him dying a few times," snorted the princess with laughter. "He died eight times in a row!" Koreima hissed toward the princess. The vampiress's eyes filled with blood and the dangerous tool of an experienced sorceress appeared in her hand. Strands of dark red surged from the body of the oldest vampire clan's daughter in all directions. "I've been starving for five days. Nasty nasty boy!" Algrin drew her second dagger and prepared to fight. The princess was afraid to move and the thought crossed her mind that the lessons of the brash and self-righteous vampiress were worthy of scrutiny. Koreima looked at the girls and calmed down. The nasty elven girl had managed to piss her off again. Cheeky creature! The vampiress allowed herself to say the obvious things that were pleasing to her. But those facts were unpleasant to elves. "Dan has a strong bond with the Kor clan. He is an apprentice of the swordmaster Kornelius. Vampires can help the baron become a wise ruler," "I'm not arguing with you. You acted wisely when you put the mark on this human. Your patrons are powerful. I wish I had met the swordsman first," Algrin admitted. It's always a good idea to retreat one step at a time. It allows you to make a new attack more powerful. "If I had met this amazing young man first he would have been my loyal knight," the princess whispered. Koreima looked gratefully at the elfess. Algrin had chosen the right place for the dangerous topic of conversation. The presence of the naïve princess allowed the two experienced aristocrats to feel their strength. "Swordsman Dan is not a knight. Ars Unbridled by Battles has chosen him. This warrior will never be an obedient servant to another ruler. Baron Dan is an excellent tool for a wise ruler. But he is not fit to be a court aristocrat," the vampiress said in the calm tone of a wise teacher. "Is that why he doesn't come to our supper to eat delicious cakes? That's not fair," Elina clenched her fists to her chest and repeated the words of resentment and displeasure. "The Baron is nice but a fool." "The Baron is good and foolish. But he's smart enough to understand his weaknesses. That is why he has found a dangerous job for himself. He is a good warrior and he will kill the dragon. He does not want to be a foolish ruler and so he will seek advice from me," the assassin winked at the vampiress. "Or he will seek advice from you, Koreima." "His mysteries and secrets won't help run the castle," the vampiress agreed. "But his advisor is suspicious. That nasty Tom is a very clever person." The elven girl frowned and looked out the window. Tom annoyed her very much. An impossibly insolent person who acts as the Prince of Grossroads. An incomprehensible and mysterious brash who does not wish to have any contact with elves. "Nasty Tom? Who is nasty Tom? What an unpleasant name. It is the name of a commoner," the princess wrinkled her face in distaste. "It is the name of a cunning and insolent scoundrel who disgusts me," whispered the vampiress. "He is unpalatable and smells like the blood of slain enemies. He's dangerous and he has a great influence on Dan. It's all Tom's fault!" "I'll complain to Papa about him! Papa will punish that nasty Tom," Princess Elina ran out of the room. The vampiress looked at Algreen with a smile. "Is that what you came for? You decided to teach the insolent fool a lesson with the king's help," Koreima grinned. "You're the one who started the conversation about Tom," the elfish girl threatened the vampiress with her dagger. "Perhaps you're so insidious that you've decided to punish a nasty unpalatable human with the help of a king." "Tom is not human," sighed the vampiress. "He is a strange creature. You know perfectly well he's not human, either." Algrin put the daggers away and pressed her finger to her lips. "I don't understand his kind. But I suspect he is a summoned creature of humankind." "Even Mice can summon a double. But this skill is available to the experienced inhabitants of Grossroads," the vampiress objected. Her words sounded like an introduction to a new lesson for a foolish girl. The elven girl was not a naïve young person and immediately found the words to back up her assumptions. "The human Dan Raven has been in the city recently. Humans have not yet revealed all their secrets. Perhaps Dan Raven has received a gift from the patrons of the humans. And Tom is a manifestation of a strong gift." "That's a good and interesting assumption. Kornelius thinks so," the vampiress admitted. The girl shook her head and whispered with distaste at her impotence. "Alas but Tom does not allow me to get to know him better. I only meet the vile creature next to Dan. Tom can't be a double. Or the human has been given the ability to summon a strange and unknown double to us." "We are both looking for a clue and we are interested in Dan Raven. I suggest we take our time. The Clan of Eternal Pine is willing to acknowledge the Kor Clan's influence on this human. My father wishes to discuss the matter with Master Kornelius," Algrin looked sadly at her rival. "Koreima, we may be eliminated from a persona we are interested in. We are too inexperienced to play such games." The vampiress didn't rush her response. Koreima knew her power over Dan was strong. The vampire's power grows stronger every day. But she mustn't let this bastard die often!
