Cassidy pov

I was finally out of the territory, i felt the strings of the bond of the pack break when i drove over the border, i wasn't hurting anymore from the rejection, it really didn't hurt that bad since we didn't have a bond, we never talked the way we should had, we never spend any time together, but if you call us spending time together with me cleaning his office, then i guess we did spend time together, plus i never liked him like that, I wanted someone to love me for me, not because i am his mate, I kept driving on to the next town, where no one knew me there, i was a rogue now, and i know no one likes a rogue, but i was far from stinking, but once they know i'm a lone wolf, that's when the dislikes will start happening, I drove to a hotel across town, i really didn't want to stop but i was so worn out from my shift, Gabby has been quiet since the shift, i guess it wore her out as well, I rented a room for the night, when i got to the room, I called my mom on the cell she gave me a year ago, i never used it but i always kept it charge just incase anything ever happened, she answered it on the first ring,

Cassidy, is that you baby, are you okay? Where are you, honey?” she was asking a million questions, i waited for her to stop so i could tell her.

‘Yeah, im okay mom, just a little shaken up from the shift, i stopped at a hotel in the next town over, i'm going to get some rest then i'm going to keep going, I wish i would had broken more than his damn nose, maybe a few of his teeth or something,”

“Baby girl you did just what you needed to do, someone had to do it, might as well been you right, you stay safe honey, call me when you get back in the truck, don't stay long on one place, i love you so much my sweet daughter, Charlotte should be home in a few days, she's going to be pissed, i'm sure she will come looking for you where ever you are so keep a look out okay,”

“Mom, Tell her not to look, somehow, some way, i will come back, and i will come back to my family, just have faith in me okay, i promise i will be okay, i'll call you when i get back in the truck, i love you mom.” We hung up. I placed the phone on its charger. than laid down, I thought i wasn't tired, but my eyes started getting heavy, i must have fallen asleep because Gabby woke me up,

“Cassidy get up girl, we need to get up and leave, people know we are a lone wolf and try to come after us, i'm not strong enough yet to fend them off, I need to rest a little more,” thank the goddess i didn't unpack anything, i slept in my clothes, i got my phone and my bag, i left the key card on the nightstand left a note and a twenty dollar bill, i wrote on the note pad,

“Thank you for letting me rest for a few hours, i placed the money on the table than i left, and just like i promised, i called my mother when i drove away from the hotel, I told her i didn't know where i was going, but i wanted to get away as far as possible, I needed to, if Drake knew if i was even close to his pack, he would send people after me, It was still dark outside when i sped away, i only stopped to get gas and food and to use the bathroom, people would look at me, they would sniff and know i was a wolf, one even growled saying,

“She's a lone wolf, you need to get out of here lone wolf, we don’t like your kind around here,” i held my hands up after i got my drink and food and said,

“I was only passing by, I was thirsty and hungry, I wasn't trying to cause any trouble.” They nodded, letting me go, I thought Drake and Derry were bad. These people are a lot worse,

Bear pov

The second night went on for the mating ball, i made my entrance and just like before, i did not find her, the alpha daughters where trying to be all over me, one even smelled so bad that almost made me gag, i had to gently push her off my lap,

“Listen Fancy, you put on way to much perfume, if you wanted to someone to like you, than be you, you don't have to do anything, but i'm not your mate, you need to go find him,” She huffed at me than stormed off to the bathroom, i'm hoping to watch some of that goddess awful perfume off of her, I decided i was done for the night, i wanted to go to the office and check some paperwork, When i sat down the door to the office opened up, it was my father, he gave me a cigar and he took one for himself, we lit up and smoked,

“Son, i know its hard right now, You don't want a mate right now, You had rather do pack things than to find her, But i promise you, when the time is right you will find her, and you will know its her, it will be like time has stopped for you, you and her will only be in the room you won't even notice anyone else, around, then you will only have eyes for her, i know you haven't been with any women, i wish i was like that before i met your mother, but it is what it is, All im saying is that im proud of you, you keep doing you okay, i will handle your mother, now get doing what you're wanting to do, i will leave you be, i just wanted to have a father son talk that's all, he hugged me than left the office, i loved my dad, he always seems to know the right thing to say to me,

‘Yeah, but you know we need our mateshe's s out there somewhere, Bear,”

“I know that Rox, we will look for her soon, I told you that, i just wanted to do this pack thing first, i wanted to make sure the pack is okay, to make sure the treaties went through before i bring a mate here,” I knew Rox was right, and my father, i needed my mate, and i was starting to get real lonely, and these she wolves are starting to looking tempting, i fight it every single day, but its starting to get harder and harder. i'm a man. i have needs, and watching dirty movies and using my hand, isn't cutting it anymore, yeah it still feels good to jerk off, but damn i wanted to know what a tight girl felt like if there still any around, I was done with paperwork so i decided to check my email., nothing really just a bunch of spam stuff and a few people letting me know there is a lone she wolf, ok so, let her be a lone wolf if that's what she wants to do, as long as she doesnt cause any trouble, everything will be just fine, unless she starts trouble and thats where i come in, i will lock that b***h up in a heart beat for the rest of her f*****g life,
