Faiths eyes sprung open as Alana whispered into her ear. She sat there blinking for a moment before moving her hand to reach Alanas. "You saved me." Tears sprung to Alanas eyes as she felt her sisters touch. "Faith you saved me first!" She wrapped her arms around her sister and She pulled Faith to her in a tight embrace. She was alive and it was all she needed in that moment. Her sister was alive. She pulled back and looking her sister over making sure she was really there and really awake. touching her face gently as tears of pure joy fell from her eyes. "you have no clue how happy I am right now." Alana pulled Faith close to her once more embracing her in her arms with every bit of life she had in her. "You are going to squeeze me to death Alana." Her sister coughed out her words as Alana released her letting her lay back down in the hospital bed. She moved back from her sister. Faiths eyes moved towards her mate and Alana watched waiting for her reaction. Faith raised her hand to him and motioned for him to come closer. He placed his hand in hers and sat down bringing her fingers to his lips he placed a gentle kiss on them as he whispered in a low voice to Faith. "You are free Faith. If you want me to I will set you free. i know this isn't what you chose. I don't want to be your prison. I don't want us to be your prison." Faith placed her fingers on his lips stopping him from speaking any further. She gave him a week but genuine smile. "I may not have chosen you at first, cough, cough, but i chose you now. This is not my prison. You are not my prison. You saved me. My father thought he could destroy me but in reality he led me to you and that is what I chose. You are my mate." He visibly relaxed his body as he breathed in deeply and sighed with relief. Alana smiled and placed her hand in Abrahams wrapping her fingers in his. It was a sweet and empowering moment for everyone in the room. Alanas father tried taking everythign away from them and in spite of that they both found love. They both found peace and comfort and most importantly they created a new family and survived. Alana motioned for Abraham to follow her out of the hospital giving Faith and her mate some time to be alone. Alana knew there was a long road to her recovery but the biggest hurddle was over. They walked silently out of the room shutting the door quietly behind them. Alana felt an instant rush of relief hit her and she sunk into Abrahams arms. She was using him as her strength and he held her close not letting her go. Her mind and body were exhausted and she knew she needed rest to accomplish everythig she felt she needed to do. She was going to free her people. She knew in order to stand tall and fight she would need to prepare herself for what may happen. She also knew she would need to sit down and talk with Abraham. She had kept him in the dark so far and that was not how she wanted her relationship with him to be. She pulled back from his embrace and smiled up at him. Behind her smile was years of saddness and anger that was bubbling to the surface begging to come out. Her father had gone too far this time and she knew it was her duty to stop him. "I can feel you Kitten, what's going on in that head of yours?" "Mmmm, the mate bond. Can't hide anything with that." She laughed as she spoke to him knowing he wouldn't be happy when she finished what she had to tell him. He wouldn't like it but she knew she needed to do it. "Come on lets go eat and talk. With everything going on I don't feel I have eaten hardly anything." He pulled her behind him, their hands entertwined as they made their way back to their suite. When they walked in there was food set up on the table for them both and everything else had been cleaned. Alana was surprised as she walked in. "I knod of was hoping you would want to eat so I had an omega come and prepare some food and clean up for us. I try to do most of it myself, but, right now I feel this was best. We could use a break. There has been a lot going on." He brought her to the table and helped into a chair pushing the chair towards the table then taking his place in his own chair. He took in a deep breath and picked up a fork taking a bite of the food that was prepared for them as he waited for Alana to start telling him what was going on in her mind. Alana let the silence surround them for what felt like an eternity and then she opened her mouth to speak. "I know you won't like what I am about to say to you. Iknow you want to protect me." pausing for a second and then sighing out loud Alana finished her sentence."I need to go back and free the sirens from my fathers rule."She put her hand up to stop him from speaking as she saw his mouth drop open. His fork fell to the plate."Before you say anything let me finish." He closed his mouth and leaned back in his chair, his stomach turning with the food weighing heavily inside it. It was all threatening to come back up at her words. "They need to be freed from my father. They are suffering too. My fathers cruelty did not and does not stop at just Faith and myself. I can't abandon them. That would be wrong." Abraham looked away as she spoke unable to form anything coherent in his mind. He knew she was right and he knew he couldn't stand in her way but he also knew how dangerous this choice was for her. He slowly picked up his fork playing with the food on his plate. She waited for him to let it all sink in. "I will go with you. We can see if we can get a witch to cast a spell and some of our warriors will come too. You aren't doing this alone. We are a team and we fight like one. Please, don't do this alone." His voice was pleading with her, begging for her to give him this one bit of peace and calm in a chaotic situation. She placed her hands on her lap as she sat back contemplating what he said. She knew he was right. Going in alone was too risky and going in with warriors would give her a better advantage. If she were being honest with herself, she didn't want to be apart from Abraham and welcomed his need to be with her. He gave her strength even when he didn't know it. They drew off each others energy and held each other up. She smiled at the thought. Things had changed so much since she had come to the kingdom. She shook her head in acknowledement. "Ok, I agree. I don't really want to do this alone anyways. I don't want to be away from you that long. Ikind of like having yo around." She watched as he threw his fork on his plate and he got down on his knees knealing at her legs as he pulled her chair towards him. He placed a kiss on her thigh and spread her legs allowing him access. "So, my kitten kind of likes having me around huh? Seems like we should be doing something else right now." She giggled as he pulle dher into his arms lifting her up and carrying her towards the stairs that led to their bedroom. He slapped her on the bottom and She yelled out in pleasure, still laughing at his actions. "Abe put me down we have a lot we need to get done before we go." He was taking two stairs at a time as he led the way to their room. "No way. We are going to take and stay in bed for the rest of the day and I am going to worship every damn part of this body of yours. It is all we have to do today. I plan on making sure you are screaming my name. Plus, you owe me a shower Kitten. i have been waiting to have you in that shower since the day we first met and it is time you pay up." She laughed as he entered their room and tossed her on the bed as she squealed out. He was a dangerous predator and she was his prey and she was delighted to be in this position.
