-Luke POV-
“Uh! Faster Luke!” She moans out.
I thrust faster into her and I can see her holding the sheets in a fist. I have her bent over on the bed as I hold her by the hips.
"Like that baby?" I ask breathlessly.
"Yes, don't sop!" She moans out.
I continue to thrust and then I feel her body shiver as she gives a loud moan. I keep thrusting until finally, I come.
We both pant and try to catch our breaths. Suddenly there’s a knock on the door and we know that it’s everyone else since we decided to meet here.
“Dammit!” Victoria whispers.
We put our clothes on fast and quickly go to the living room where someone is pounding on the door about to break it.
I open it. “What the hell man!” I say annoyed at Parker.
“Took you long enough!” He says as he walks in.
“I have juicy news!” Marina says.
“Me first.” Holly says.
We all sit in the living room around the coffee table.
“Ok, so Brooke, the girl that got attacked, found an amulet on the floor in one of the halls. She picked it up and decided to keep it and then everything happened. The teacher later told her that it was one of the artifacts so she returned it.” Holly says.
“Okay, my turn.” Marina says. “My grandpa told me that the school has three vaults. They are categorized by how powerful the artifacts are from level one to level three. The vault that got broken into was level two and apparently, they stole a lot of the stuff. And my grandfather said that the thief had tried to get into number three but it was too secured.”
“Three vaults? Why?” Zach asks but looks like he's asking it more to himself trying to figure it out. “Well, my aunt told me a bit more about the artifact that you had Victoria. She said that the broken statue is supposed to be attached to another part that has two other monkeys. She said that each monkey has a spirit in it.”
“The weird part is that I had the other two but now I can’t find them.” Victoria says.
“Wait... so that statue has three spirits when put together?” I ask.
Zach nods.
“But why? Why put spirits in a statue?” I ask confused.
“When a spirit is too powerful for anyone to defeat, they imprison them in items or artifacts.” Zach says.
“Do the teachers have any idea of who the thief could be?” Parker asks.
Marina shakes her head but Zach nods. “My aunt said that it could only be someone who is already in the school. Because there are wards to know when someone new enters school grounds.”
“So you are saying that it had to be either a student or a teacher?” I ask.
Zach nods.
“But why? And are they planting them at random or choosing people?” Nolan asks.
“I don’t really know.” Zach says.
We all stay there quietly thinking about it.
My phone starts to vibrate and when I pick it up I see Isaac's name on it.
“Yea.” I say, picking it up.
“Tell the headmaster that the Blood Thorn Pack is about to attack the school.” He says.
“What?” I ask getting up.
“Go! I’ll be there in a few minutes.” He says and hangs up.
“What’s wrong?” Victoria asks also getting up.
“The Blood Thorn Pack is about to attack the school.”
Everyone gets up looking panicked.
“Parker, alert the other packs in the school. Marina, tell your grandfather and stay safe. Holly, Abel, you think the vamps can help defend the school?” I ask them and they nod quickly leaving.
“I’ll let the rest know.” Zach says also leaving.
Vic and I quickly make our way out of the manor and to the wooden area where the enemy would have to come in from.
“Stay behind me Vic.” I tell her.
She looks at me irritated. “Luke-”
I cut her off. “I know, I know but I can give you time while you shift since you take longer to shift than us.”
Students and teachers start to come out of the school and stand next to us.
“What do they want?” The headmaster asks now standing next to me.
“I have no idea. The whole time all they wanted was Isaacs territory so I don’t know why they are coming here.” I say.
We start to hear wolves howling in the distance. The teachers start to chant and an invisible wall glistens at the edge of the forest.
Then from our side Isaac comes up to us running.
“I’m here.” He says.
“What do they want?” I ask him.
“I don’t know but it might be a ploy to lure my pack out of my territory.” He says which makes sense.
(This Alpha is so stupid.) Isaacs pack is three times bigger than his. If Isaac wanted, he could wipe the pack out. God forbid that they get him that angry.
We see someone walk out of the forest and we immediately recognize him as the Alpha. The headmaster and Isaac step forward and I follow with Vic behind me.
“You have no business here. These grounds are off-limits for you.” The headmaster says.
“Not to mention how easily you would lose.” Isaac says and he’s right. There are a few different packs here and some of them are Alpha and betas. There are witches, vamps, and a few other different super natural's.
The Alpha doesn't say a thing but just stands there. Then another man walks over to him from behind and tells him something. And at the same time, one of the teachers comes over to the headmaster and says something in his ear as well. The Alphas face quickly turns into disappointment and then anger.
“I see.” The headmaster says. “You were trying to draw us to this side of the school. A diversion, but it failed. Look, even with all of us here, there was no way that you were going to get into this school so, tell me what is your aim here.”
Isaac smirks and shakes his head as if he realized something. “That makes sense." He mumbles. "He is following someone else's orders. I knew you couldn’t be that stupid.” Isaac says looking smugly at him.
The Alpha scoffs. “It's no matter even if our plans change for now." He gives a wicked smile. "Good luck in there.” He says and turns back to the forest.
(What the f**k does he mean by that?)
“Margaret! I want the wards extended to the forest in case one of our students goes for a run. And I want wards at the town as well.” The headmaster says to another teacher then he turns to us.
“So, someone else attempted to get into the school from the opposite side.” He says. "I’m guessing that this is all connected somehow.”
Isaac nods. “I’m guessing that as well.”
“Let's talk in my office.” The headmaster says to Isaac.
They leave and all the students and teachers start going back as well.
I go to Vitoria and hug her, thankfully she doesn’t look scared at all.
(She’s grown so strong... actually, she was always strong.)
"Are you ok?" I ask her.
She smiles. "Yea, I'm fine."
I kiss her and hold her tight taking her scent in.
"I love you." I whisper and she whispers back. "I love you too."
I let her go and we start walking to the house.
I sigh as we walk. (This is all getting complicated and I really hope that none of it has to do with Victoria. She’s already been through enough.)
We go upstairs and wait for Isaac to see what he has to say.
“I’m gonna take a shower baby. Be right back.” Vic says.
I watch her leave wanting to join her but at the same time, I am distracted. I look to my wrist at the watch that Victoria left for me this morning, it looks old but it’s nice.
(I have to ask her about it.)
I sit on the couch and close my eyes drifting into sleep but then I hear a strange noise. I open my eyes and am shocked.
“What the hell?”
I look around panicking.
“Where the hell am I?”
I am sitting on a bed in a dark room. The only light that comes from it is from the bottom of the door and the moonlight from a window.
“….. Oh s**t!”
