Chapter 5 - Falling With Him

"Come on, there must be another way." He let out while trying to look around for another way out. Why is this gay so whiney? Can't he just be contented with what's available?

I slowly walked near him and collected my strength, then pushed him right into the water. We will still be wet in any other way since we cannot go back to where we fell.

"Hey!" He shrieked and I just laughed at him.

He is just so damn weak. I can not believe that he is a male. Oh, I almost forgot. He's gay. But some gay guys are strong. But like, he has a nice and built body. Well, maybe he's just reckless.

"Haha, super funny, Bitch." He said sarcastically, while I'm clutching my stomach and dying out of laughter. Thankfully, he still has his phone on his hold.

"Help me up." He asked for help and I just stood there for a while and contemplating if should I help him or not. He could be thinking of retaliation.

And, I finally offered him a hand since he's starting to climb back up, and then, he suddenly pulled me into the water with him. Alright, he is starting to counterattack. I am never wrong. Do you want games? I'll show you how it is played.

So, I stayed under the water for a few moments while I look for a possible way we can pass through.

"Maddie? Maddie! Damn, don't make a joke like that. It's not funny at all." I can hear his faint voice from the surface while he's trying to find me with his flashlight.

I slowly swim near his feet and pulled him under, then, I went up to the surface. If you could just see his hilarious face.

"Holy jeez! Don't do it ever again, Maddie. I was damn worried. You shouldn't hold your breath longer than a minute or you'll damage your brain or worse you'll drown." He explained, and now, he sounds more like my mother and Kate.

"Alright, sorry. But there's a hole down there, I guess we can fit in. You lead the way." I let out and he composed himself.

He inhaled deeply and held his breath. And, I did the same and dived back in again.

We swim through the hole and a few moments have passed but there is still no sign of an opening.

Damn, I'm almost out of breath but we still can't find a surface.

And now, the hole is getting narrower and the current is getting strong. Damn it, we can't die drowning in here.

After a few more seconds, I finally got to the surface while catching my breath and Chrys is also gasping for air. The flow of the water is strong and it's washing us away very fast.

"Hey, Maddie! I think we're near the exit of the water." He yelled while catching his breath and I can hear something loud.

"Yeah, I guess so. Do you hear that?" I replied and asked him.

It's getting louder and louder, and the water's flow is really strong.

"I guess it's water." He yelled since it's so noisy in here.

Yeah, water. But my mind goes to something else. Can it be a waterfall? No, I guess not, and I hope not.

"My oh my, damn it, Maddie! Another dead end!!!" He cursed and yelled.

"What dead end?" I shouted back and he's got a very terrified face while swimming back to me hastily.

"Swim back, Maddie, it's a waterfall!" He shouted and I tried to swim back but the current is just so strong.

"Oh, s**t, we're gonna die!" I cursed as the water is washing us away. This is it, I'm gonna die single since birth.

"Aaaaaaaah!!!" We both screamed as we fall freely.

Then, I closed my eyes while trying to calm myself. Not again. Well, at least I'm sure that there's water when we land. But rocks are the big problem, or worse, an open mouth of a whale, no, a crocodile. f**k this s**t! Can this field trip be more perfect?

"Maddison! Maddison! Where are you?" I heard the gay screaming at the top of his lungs as I swim to the side.

I'm far from him since the water washed me away. Thank goodness, the sun has finally shone on me. I can finally see clearly.

"Maddison! Can you hear me?" He kept shouting and I walked to him while my legs feel like spaghetti. That was too much. But luckily, we are still alive. Mom, I'm really going to listen to you next time, I promise.

"Maddison! Maddie!" He called out and his voice is getting hoarse.

"Knock it off, Asshole! I'm still alive." I muttered, then, he immediately jumped and crushing me into a big hug. I swear this man is a pure pain in the ass.

"Oh my gosh! You're here!" He rejoiced and I kept pushing him off of me.

"Get off me! Can you see this?" I uttered as I showed my blazing fist to him.

He seemed to calm down, and he finally composed himself.

"Where the heck are we?" He asked in awe and as I looked to where he's staring, my mouth hung open.

It's very wonderful. The waterfall is extraordinary, and there are a lot of trees, flowers, and bushes around us.

"It's like a paradise," I said in amazement, and I just can't take my eyes off of the beautiful view in front of us. This field trip is now perfect.

Chrys took out his phone and tried to take a picture of the view but he found out that his phone is dead.

"Damn it, it's dead. I need to take a picture of a souvenir. Come on, there must be some batteries left." He blabs as he tried to turn the thing on forcefully.

"It's dead already. You're just gonna kill it twice." I mumbled as I let my dark-blonde hair loose for it to dry quickly.

"No, it still has some. What the f**k are you doing?" He stated and cursed as he saw me took off my shirt.

I squeezed it for it to be free from water and will dry in no time.

"Stripping. What do you think?" I answered as I tried to tease him and he immediately turns his back on me.

"You're not supposed to do that in front of people." He uttered and I wore my shirt back.

"I thought you're gay. So, I supposed it's okay." I stated and I held his shoulders that made him scurried away and faced me with a karate pose. He's not just gay, he's crazy too.

"Stay away from me." He let out and kept his pose. I swear, this guy badly needs a psychiatrist.

"What? Do you think I'm gonna r**e you? Hah, never in your wildest dreams, Dude." I asserted and laughed my ass out. This is hilarious.

He finally stood straight, no, he stood gay.

"No, I'm just making sure. You don’t... You know." He reasoned out and I'm just kept laughing. If you could just see his face. Pfft.

"Don't worry, I prefer someone with boobs," I uttered and stopped for a sec. Did I just say that?

I looked at him and his face is stupefied.

"Oh my ya! I knew it. Haha!" He said, and how did he know it?

Damn, maybe it just slipped from my tongue? Alright then, perhaps I really am a lesbian. Visualizing myself with a man never came into my mind but I feel fine with girls.

"Well, hurray! Guess what? I'm a homosexual too." I let out and I kind of finally figured it out.

"Alright, yeah! She is a lesbian!!!" He yelled and I kicked his leg to shut him off. Geez, can't he just zip his loud mouth?

"Now, Maddie, lez be honest. You knew that Hera Marlon, the head of the academy's cheerleaders' squad got a thing on you, right? Are you going to give it a shot? You know that there are a bunch of species who are gawking at her and want her badly." He asked curiously, and why does everybody know about Hera's intentions on me? Is she announcing it to everybody? People are really nuts. She could just choose somebody who likes her back.

"No. Nope. She's not my type and she doesn't stand a chance, even a little." I told him honestly and started to walk. I mean, she's nice and she looks good, but I just can not feel some attraction towards her.

Chrys is just nodding his head and walked beside me.

"So, how about Kate? Since you seem ready to fight for her with your life? She's really nice, you know that. And, she cares for you too." He stated in a serious voice, and with that, I stopped in my tracks and thought about it.

Kate? Hmmm. She is straighter than the straightest needle, and I cringe at the thought of us being together in a romantic relationship. Geez!

"Nah. She's more of like a sister to me, no, a mother. Damn, she's worse than my mom when she gets mad." I explained and he keeps thinking of somebody with who I might get a thing. Good luck if he finds one.

"Okay, maybe the right girl will come to you before you know it." He said and he rejoiced as his phone finally turned on.

"Yeah, Man! Oh, it has one percent. This would do." He stated and snapped a picture of the surroundings.

Seriously? He really thought of taking pictures than calling for help or looking at the map? He is such an absolute moron.

"Hey, Maddie! Smile." He said as he took a picture of me.

And, I posed giving him a middle finger, and he just laughed. Then, he took a selfie and I just posed a wacky face behind him.

"Can you take a picture of me? Please?" He asked me and as I'm about to take his phone, it has already shut down.

"Sorry," I said as I chuckled and he just cursed.

"Okay, let's just find our way home." He let out and we started walking in the jungle.

Should we really wander into this wilderness? There could be wild animals lurking in here. Just like a merciless lion that could eat us, snakes that could choke us to death before they will swallow us whole, or the venomous ones. There could also be bears or monkeys. Gosh, I really should stop these thoughts.

"Where could we be? Everything here looks like we're in a Jurassic World. Well, I hope there are no dinosaurs here. I mean, I'm fine with the Triceratops, Brachiosaurus, and all the other herbivores. " He kept babbling and I just followed behind him.

There are lots of big trees and plants here. I just hope that we will not be eaten by the wild animals in here anytime sooner.

"Do you hear that?" I asked him as we heard noises from the bushes near our left side.

"Oh, gosh! Maybe that's a snake." He said and ran behind me to cover. This coward...

The bushes are still moving and there came out a big and enormous dinosaur.

No, it's just a freaking squirrel.

"Well, it's just a squirrelosaurous," I stated and we cracked out laughing.

This forest surely looks like a virgin one. There are no signs of commercial logging, and this could be so far away from the city since we can not hear any honks of cars, people, or the noisy equipment in the construction sites.

We kept walking while he's following behind me and scratching his arms. It must be some bites of bugs and mosquitoes.

And, after an hour or less of walking, we finally found a small house in the middle of the forest.

"Hey, Maddie! Could it be Merlin's house? Do you know him, the wizard?" He asked and he's talking nonsense now. Maybe the effects of falling in an immeasurable height twice this day.

"Yes and no," I answered and he seemed not getting it.

"Yes, I know him, and no, it's not his house. This is not storytime, Chrys, and I'm so effin' hungry." I stated and he just looked at the house closer. It really does look like a witch's house in movies.

"We need to ask them if where we can find the way back to the city, or if they have a phone," I said and walked to the house's location.

But then, he suddenly pulled me to hide in some bushes. What is wrong with this guy?

"Maddie, there could be witches living in there. You know they are patiently waiting for lost people in the woods so they will ambush them and then cook them in their big pots and then eat them." He whispered while doing gestures and I just stared at him like he's going totally crazy. What is he? A five-year-old who still believes in magical powers, superheroes, and wizards?

"Seriously? We need to get back home already. The people we have left must be so damn worried by now. They have no f*****g idea if we are still alive or lifeless. If there could be witches in there, then, we die. Simple as that." I let out and he stared at me with wide eyes.

I just glared at him and continued my way to the small house.
