Alexander's POV     Serenity was really pissing me off. This girl knew exactly how to get under my skin. One minute she wanted me, the next minute she didn't. She was so confusing. When she ran out of the house, I didn't exactly know what to do. I wanted to chase after her, I did but I was completely naked from head to toe. I don't know why but when she hit me, it turned me on even more. Don't get me wrong, it pissed me the hell off but to my surprise it turned me on even more. I did the only thing I could think of at that moment and went back up the stairs to the woman waiting in my room. This was how it always was for me. I always put my needs first, the hell with anyone else. Once I was done with her, I sent her on her way and slipped on some clothes. I grabbed my keys and took off to find Serenity.     Here I am covered with her blood. I went too far. I was just trying to push her off me, I wasn't trying to hurt her. I had pushed her with too much force, and she dropped too hard on the pavement and hit her head. The blood was oozing out of her head so fast I started to panic. What the hell did I do? I ran over and scooped her up into my arms and placed her in the back seat of the car. I ran around to the driver’s side and put the car in drive. I didn't even bother putting my seat belt on. I drove like a bat out of hell to the closest hospital. After 30 minutes, I pulled into the emergency section. I ran inside to get someone fast. "Someone please help! I need help!"     "Sir, try to stay calm. Can you please tell us what we can do for you?"     "Stay calm? My girlfriend is outside in my car bleeding everywhere!" Nurses rushed out with me and helped me place her on a stretcher. I walked with them as they wheeled her through the double doors and into an elevator. Once the elevator stopped on the second floor, we rushed out and were heading to double door.     "You can't come back here with us sir. We need you stay out here in the waiting room and there will be a doctor to keep you informed."     They wheeled through the second set of double doors until she was out of sight. I slowly walked over to the waiting room and looked down at my clothing. I was all covered in her blood. Tears started to spring in my eyes, recalling the events that led us here. What did I do? Will she be alright? Of course, she won't. Even if she survives this, she will probably never want to speak to me again. If I was her, I wouldn't want to speak to me either. Why can't I just be who she needs, who she wants? I was really trying. When I found those letters from my brother, I lost all control that I had. He had touched her, my woman. I was supposed to be the one to make her feel pleasure first but no, Liam had to take that too.     Just as I was getting lost in my own thoughts, a doctor stepped through the door. "Party of Serenity Williams?"     I stand, "here."     The doctor walked over to me. "Hi, I am Doctor Garrett and I will be the one attending to Ms. Williams. I need to know exactly what happened to cause these injuries."     "Well, we had a fight and she stormed out of the house and started walking. I finally caught up to her, but the argument continued. She hit me and I pushed her back, that is when she hit the pavement. I didn't know I pushed her that hard. I would never intentionally hurt her."     "Thank you for sharing that with me. I cannot stress to you enough that you have a lot more strength than she does. I know you may have not known you were pushing her so hard, but you must start taking in accountability your strength to hers. She has some serious injuries to her head. From my initial examination, she has a concussion and possible bleeding on the brain. I won't know for sure until I get her in for a CT scan."     "Oh my God. What can I do?"     "I would suggest making her as comfortable as she can be until she wakes up, if she wakes up."     "There is a possibility that she won't wake up?"     "Yes, we see it all the time. She will decide when her body is ready, and she will wake. I must get back to my other patients and she is on her way in for that CT scan. You can go ahead and go up to her room if you would like. Go over the gentlemen at the desk over there and he will point you in the right direction."     "Thank you." I watched as the doctor walked off. Bleeding of the brain? I hope that is not true. She can do this. She will wake up; I know she will.
