[ ANOTHER SOMEONE POV ]
He cancelled the call.
"You can leave now God of Sun." I seriously said, ngunit hindi na as in mas'yadong galit.
I smirked. "And you too, Apollo."
Nagkatitigan kaming dalawa.
But our gaze was interrupted when we heard someone calling someone's name.
"Venus!!!"
It came from below so we moved quickly. We take a peek at the terrace and see what's below. And we saw there the one of the survivors of Dela La Fuente, chasing our only youngest, Aphrodite, she was running away from that man
Iniwan ko si Apollo sa terrace. I hadn't even come down the stairs when I heard his voice, "Sino yun?" nakakunot-noo niyang tanong.
I just continued walking, but when I felt his presence, I stopped immediately.
"You are not safe in the Philippines God of Sun. You better go home. Leave this to me. I will take care of your other sister."
"Do you remember the m******e?"
Kumunot lang ang noo niya. See, wala siyang alam.
Hmm... Seems like, even my sister is hiding something.
"The m******e of the Dela Fuente Family. Years ago. All their families were killed, except for two. Everyone thought there were no survivors, but there were a survivors. Two of the Dela Fuentes were alive. And that boy," sabay tinuro ko ang labas ng terrace. "Was one of the survivor."
"Are you really not aware?"
"Na alin?"
I frowned. "That boy, He likes Aphrodite."
Natigilan siya at sabay nalaglag ang panga. "But, that man cannot accept Aphrodite because she is a 'Montello Montes'." I emphasize the last two words. "All he knows is that it's our fault, it's our fault why there are only two of them left in their family. They say we massacred their family. That's what he carries with him, until he grows up."
All that happened, 15 years ago...
I'm 20 years old now, it means the m******e happened to their family during when I was 5 years old. I don't know anything yet. But as I grew up, I gradually became aware of what I belonged to. I learned a lot about our family. What or who we really are.
"Then, anong nangyari?"
"God of s—"
"I know!" at nagulat ako nang tumalon siya sa gilid ng hagdanan at tumakbo palabas ng venue.
What the—?
"Yes, Goddess of Hearth?" pambungad niya.
"Don't play dumb Goddess of Wisdom, where is Artemis?"
"Calm down. Nasa comfort room lang."
"Okay." At pinatay ko na ang tawag.
I noticed the approaching Black car on the road, it was far away, but I noticed it right away.
When I got out, I ran even faster, I accelerated until I caught up with Apollo and I quickly grabbed his hair and pulled him so that he screamed in pain.
I pulled him to my car on the side of the adjacent building of the Garden Orchid's Hotel, and forced him into the shotgun seat. Next I got into the driver's seat. Nagtago kami bago pa man kami tuluyang makita ng nasa Itim na kotse.
"L*nt*k lang!" napamura siya.
Sinuot ko ang seatbelt. "Sshhh!" sinenyasan ko siyang tumahimik.
"Ang sakit ng buhok ko. HUHUHUH."
I looked at the Black car that stopped at the side of the venue, it was parked in a hidden area. I noticed that the car was not alone, it had companions, there were many of them.
5 color black Bayerische Motoren Werke AG, commonly abbreviated to BMW, is now parked secretly outside the hotel, the doors opened at the same time and armed men in formal attire came out.
"I think they are here."
"Huh?" Nagtaka siya. "Ang bilis naman. 30 minutes pa nga lang akong nandito."
"Hm, knowing them.
I looked at the person next to me in wonder. His eyes were outside the window, but looking up, watching the sky, while there was a bitter smile on his lips and a sad emotion in his eyes.
In the wake of his beloved's passing, he is engulfed by a whirlwind of emotions, each one more intense than the last. Grief, like a heavy cloak, weighs upon his shoulders, dragging him down into the depths of despair. His heart, once full of joy and warmth, now feels hollow, echoing with the emptiness of her absence.
But yet, amidst the darkness, a flicker of hope remains—a tiny spark of the love they once shared. He clings to it desperately, cherishing it like a precious jewel amidst the wreckage of his shattered heart.
I averted my gaze from him and chose to look straight ahead. I noticed the disappearance of the armed men so I quickly started my car.
That caused the person next to me to come back to reality and cursed as I immediately sped the car away. I made my way to Aphrodite. It had disappeared from our sight a while ago, but on the road she was on earlier, it would not disappear. So, just a few moments later, I saw her right away.
Nasa gitna pa talaga sila ng daan. At magkasama pa'rin.
Kausap pa'rin ang lalaking iyon. Tsk.
'Hurry up.'
"Sorry, we're in a hurry."
In the dim glow of the evening light, his eyes fixated on her. There was a tempest of memories and regrets swirling behind those weary eyes. Each glance was laden with the weight of past hurts, etched into the lines of his weathered face.
Despite the tender affection he held for her, there was an undeniable ache in his gaze, a silent plea for understanding. His lips, once quick to curve into a smile, now trembled with the burden of unspoken pain.
D*mn this God of Sun!
"HUHUHUHUH."
I just focused my eyes on the road.
