I looked up and saw Mike. I hadn't noticed him before because my brother and best friend was dying in my arms.
If he was here then where the hell was Elizabeth? I hated admitting this to myself, but the two of them were inseperable.
I couldn't stop the snarl that ripped out of me. "Mike, if you're here then where is -"
"She's not here, Mathew", he cut me off. "She's fighting Raphael and I need to get back to her." His tone was very abrasive and downright disrespectful.
"You left her while she was fighting Raphael?", I roared at him. "Aren't you supposed to be there for her? Aren't you supposed to be protecting her? Isn't that why you left with her?" I was choking his throat and threatening to break his neck.
"Boss! Boss, let him go. Boss, I can explain everything." Kendrick was yelling at me while he, Keyon and Killian tried to get me to unhand Mike.
I dropped him to the floor with enough force to make the ground under him crack. "I'm going after her", I said through gritted teeth. "Where is she?" Orion and I were seething.
"Boss, you can't do that." Kendrick was looking at me with so much worry in his eyes.
By now, the only people who were even close to me were Killian, Kendrick, Mike and Keyon. Everyone else was standing as far away as they could.
"Are you trying to tell me what to do, Ken?" I grabbed his shirt collar and slammed him up against a wall. "Have you forgotten that I am the king? I said I'm going after her. Now tell me where she is!" I had my arm pressed against his throat to make him understand that this wasn't the time for any of his usual jokes.
Everyone was now on their knees with their necks outstretched to me. Killian was the only one who was standing up, but he was clearly struggling against the urge to bow to me.
"Boss", he was struggling to breathe, "I ... I saw something when I almost died. If you go to her, we...we will all die." His voice was almost a raspy whisper.
I let go of him and he fell to the floor. He tried getting up, but I pushed my aura so hard on him that he couldn't even get on his knees.
"Where is she, Ken?" I bent down to his level and growled close to his ear.
He started shaking his head violently trying to fight my order. "Boss, please let me explain", I heard him writhing in pain while struggling to breathe.
I took a deep breath and Orion and I reluctantly reeled in our aura. I was going to give him one chance to explain himself before locking him up in our cells. Orion was demanding blood.
Everyone got up and immediately started gasping for air.
"Boss, I promise there's a good reason for what I'm saying." He was still panting and struggling to catch his breath. "Raphael stabbed me and...well I think I actually died, boss. Wherever I was, I saw my dad, but I'll tell you about that later."
A growl ripped out of me and I grabbed his shirt collar. "Where the hell is she, Ken?" I shouted at him.
"Wait, let me finish!", he yelled at me. "I saw some shadow or dark figure looming over you and your Queen, boss. Everytime you got closer, the shadow grew and killed everyone. When you were apart, it lost its power. That's why she left, boss. She knew about the shadow."
I looked at Mike who had now also managed to get up. He nodded his head to indicate that Ken was telling the truth.
I looked around and found the nearest thing I could hit or break. I walked to the nearest car and punched multiple deep dents into it.
I marched back to Ken and grabbed his shirt collar again. "I don't care! Take me to her!"
He shook his head. I was about to land a fist in his face when Keyon yelled out to me.
"Wait, boss! She's safe. She's safe!" Keyon ran to me and showed me a picture on his phone. It had been sent a few seconds ago by one of the trackers.
It was Elizabeth in the picture. She was sitting in a car half naked with a girl dressed in pink sitting next to her.
Without thinking, my hands let go of Kendrick's collar and he fell to the ground. I grabbed Keyon's phone with both hands and started inspecting the picture. It was definitely her and there was a text accompanying the picture.
Confirmation of the Queen's latest location. She's safe and sound. She just killed a bunch of evil witches and chased away Raphael. She's pretty awesome!
"Tell the trackers to give her clothes and food" I instructed Keyon.
I felt Orion instantly relax as we swiped through more of the pictures the tracker sent. I couldn't stop looking at her. She looked so beautiful.
She's okay, I heard Orion purring. She's very strong.
I smiled as I looked at the pictures. She looked really tired. I wanted to go to her and get her to fall asleep in my arms.
"Ken, go to her", I ordered him. "Stay with her until you get further orders."
He gulped. "Yes, boss."
I realised the quickest way to get him to her would be by flight. When I looked up again, Anha had shifted into her gryphon and Mike was already getting on her back.
"Wait!", I yelled to them. "Take Ken with you. I trust him."
Mike looked at me with a scowl on his face. "And SHE trusts ME!" Anha was about to take off.
"Stop!", I roared at her. I noticed her trying to fight my order, but she submitted to it within a few seconds.
Ken ran to Anha and also got on her back.
"Boss, don't worry", he tried reassuring me. "I'll protect her with my life. Although, I doubt she needs it, boss. She's freaking strong; stronger than you. She saved me."
"Go to her, Kendrick", I ordered him. "If she refuses come back then stay with her until I can come for her." They immediately took off.
It pained me to even think of Elizabeth refusing to come back to me, but I had to trust that Phoenix would make sure she came back to me. That was the only thing keeping Orion and I from going to her right now.
"Boss, the witches found where Luna Audrey is being held. Should I lead the rescue or..." Keyon trailed off.
Everyone could see I was furious.
I couldn't stop thinking about the fact that she fought Raphael and I wasn't there to protect her. All I've ever wanted to do is to keep her safe. This is precisely why I wanted to leave this world with her when she and I were still at the Black Claw pack. This world is not safe. And yet, I knew that this was our life now. Always in danger and doing all we can to keep everyone around us safe.
That familiar ache in my heart was returning with an unparalleled force. It felt like a cold dark hole was trying to swallow me up.
"Mathew", I felt Killian's hand on my shoulder. "Your mate will be fine. You need to trust your men."
The man looked like he genuinely felt empathetic towards me.
"My little Star fire is also not here with me...and she is also a dear friend of Mike..", he seemed to linger on a thought before shaking his head and dismissing it, "but I know I will be with her soon." He continued. "We must now focus on finding the Mother of Seers."
His behaviour was not common for a gryphon. This could mean the start of a potential cooperation or maybe even a friendship between our two kingdoms.
"I will lead the rescue, Keyon", I said to him. "Everyone, let's go right now!"

Audrey's POV
Everything was just as I saw it in my vision.
I was in the same crypt that I saw in my vision and tied up against a wall.
One by one, the torches around me started lighting up with a flame. I watched the evil witches standing around me in a circle. They were wearing long white gowns with red capes. The only person missing was Raphael.
I saw two figures appear out of the shadows and squinted my eyes to try and see who it was. "Jerry? Is that you?", I yelled out in surprise. "Wait, and Sabrina?"
The two of them got clearer the closer they got. I hadn't seen them in my vision so now I was getting a bit worried.
Jerry's eyes were no longer brown. They were crystal blue like the witches. He was still short, but he looked much stronger and bigger. Sabrina looked younger than I remembered. All these witches looked really young. They didn't look older than 18, but I knew that this was all a lie. These were some of the oldest witches in the magical realm. The power emanating from all of them was undeniable.
"So you were a seer all this time, Audrey?" Jerry had a devilish smirk on his face.
I didn't answer him.
"And now you're a Mother of Seer with her own order in the Werewolf kingdom. You've come a long way." Sabrina snarled.
"Raphael is going to kill every single one of you when he's done with everyone else. You guys know that, right?" I was trying to buy myself time to delay them trying to hurt me.
They all burst out in laughter. "You know nothing, seer!", one of the witches snarled at me.
"Allow me to introduce myself", the witch smirked as she stepped forward. She was definitely more powerful than all the others. "I am Freya, head of this coven of witches."
I spat at her and she, along with the other witches, hissed at me. I remembered how Mathew told us that a witch named Freya was the reason Luciene was still in a coma. She had done terrible things to so many people all the name of waking up Raphael.
"You're witches!", I growled at them. "Why would you even respect a warlock? He doesn't have your willpower. He's weak. That's why he was so easily corrupted by powers that belong to witches!"
Jerry landed a hard slap against my cheeck that left a ringing noise in my ear. His hands had obviously gotten rougher over the years. Either that or not being slapped by him as often has made me forget how bad he can get.
Before I could turn my face, I felt another slap in my face. This one was much more forceful and I felt blood dripping from my nose.
"There is so much that hasn't been shown to you, seer", Freya smirked as she got closer. "We have plans that not even you will see until they unfold right before your very eyes."
"What plans?", I asked while trying to catch my breath and stop my bleeding nose even though I was all tied up.
She scoffed. "Wouldn't you like to know?", she snarled sarcastically. "You know nothing of witchfolk, seer. You think you know so much because that old wench of a sister of mine, Agatha, has been running her mouth."
A gasp left my mouth before I could stop it.
A devilish smirk appeared on her face. "So you didn't know? Is Agatha ashamed of me? Has my big sister forgotten that it was her who taught me the spell to revive the dead?"
A huge lump got stuck in my throat. This couldn't be true. Freya had to be lying. She was trying to turn me against someone who had spent years helping to protect us against evil witches. Agatha would have told us. She wouldn't have kept something like this from us.
"You're lying!", I said coldly.
She scoffed. "You should ask her. When you do, tell her Freya says thank you. None of this would have been possible without her."
I angrily pursed my lips and glared at her. "Tell her yourself when she kills you, Freya!"
From the corner of my eyes, I saw Jerry lift his hand to hit me again. This time it was a fist. The moment it connected with me face, I felt a cracking noise in my jaw before unimaginable pain spread through my entire jaw and face. He had dislocated my jaw.
I closed my eyes and felt tears falling from my eyes as I waited for my healing to kick in. Seers don't have strong regenerative abilities like werewolves, but we do still have healing abilities. Since I'm mated to a werewolf, I'm fortunate enough to have the same healing abilities as him.
I struggled to breathe as I waited for my jaw to heal. "Where is Raphael?", I gritted my teeth since opening my mouth would be too painful to bear. "Isn't he the reason why I am here?" I was trying to distract them from further beatings.
Freya shrugged her shoulders."He must be busy. Hopefully you don't mind waiting for him, do you?"
I just gulped. I looked at all the witches. Their faces kept twitching and they kept growling at me, but other than Jerry, no one had really hurt me. It looked like they were fighting their natural instincts to hurt me and I just knew that it was Agatha's potion at work.
"You've all been really quiet these past three years", I said through shallow breaths. "Why is that?"
Freya narrowed her eyes at me. "You know why we've been quiet, seer. The werewolves have been untouchable, but all of that will soon come to an end."
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?", I growled at her.
She didn't answer me. They all just started laughing, but stopped as soon as ice slowly encased the walls of the cave. It became cold, unbearably cold and within seconds I could see my breath. Ice formed everywhere. It was on the ceiling and floors and even formed around the chains they tied me up in. I was trembling from the cold.
Then I saw those evil and menacing blue eyes appearing out of the darkness.
The tall, pale and white statuesque man was hovering over me. His long silver hair was wet for some reason, but it still looked magnificent. His skin almost had a silver shimmering light each time the moon shone on it. He was standing inches away from my face and he was naked. Had he not been a vile and evil man I'm sure a lot of women would have been chasing after him.
His skin had no warmth radiating from him. He was so cold.
I avoided looking into those stone cold eyes and looked at all the witches who were standing around me in a circle. I could sense that same arousal and desire from them that I sensed in my vision.
"My apologies for being late, Luna Audrey", Raphael said as he got way too close to my ear. "I had a little fire problem."
Freya scoffed as if she knew what he was talking about.
"Did you see her as the seer said you would?", Freya asked while eyeing him suspiciously.
He didn't remove his eyes from me. "Yea, I did. It's definitely her. Clause will be happy."
Freya smirked at me like they knew something I didn't know.
He swiftly turned his attention back to me.
"You've already had this vision, Audrey." He narrowed his eyes at me again. It felt like he was peering into my soul.
"You saw me ask you for the gem and rip your unborn child out of your womb."
I tried to hide how shocked I was that he knew about my vision, but he already noticed it.
He brushed his hand against my cheeck. "There there. Don't worry, Luna. You and I both know that vision will no longer come to light. You did something to change it, didn't you?"
I looked up at him defiantly with a scowl and he just laughed at me.
"You're going to tell me where the gem is, Audrey." His voice was so cold and emotionless, but it also commanded authority and obedience. "I may not be able to hurt you, but I can hurt your precious inkling friends. I'm the only reason the centaurs haven't taken over the Silver City...yet." He emphasised that last word.
I pursed my lips out of frustration. The inklings had barely survived that attack. Sebastian told me how surprised he was that Mathew still agreed to an alliance with the Silver kingdom despite how Queen Merrida treated him. Werewolf warriors were sent to the Silver kingdom to help protect their boarders and by some miracle, King Killian also sent gryphons there. However, that didn't mean they were safe. Sebastian had explained that it was only him, Susan, Mike and Elizabeth who were immune against the magic used during the attack. Everyone else was left defenseless.
The Silver City wouldn't be able to survive another attack. Not now. But I also couldn't give any information to Raphael. I don't know what this gem is, but it clearly means a lot to him."
"It sounds to me like you already have a seer that's telling you all you need to know, Raphael! Why don't you ask them to find this precious gem of yours?"
His eyes remained emotionless as he peered into the depths of my soul. "The gem is...ancient and it's one of a kind, Audrey. Only a Mother of Seers will be able to find it."
"Well, I don't know where it is!" , I roared at him while thrashing against my chains. "And even if I did, I would sooner die than say anything to someone as despicable as you!"
He laughed in his icy voice while shaking his head. "Audrey, you're going to have a vision about the gem. That much has already been told to me. You're going to see me in your vision and you and I both know what that means."
I felt the blood drain from my face. One of the sacred rules of being a seer is to inform the people you saw in your vision about it. It is a rule that is so scared that if a seer doesn't honour it, you might even lose your gift.
I gulped as angry tears ran down my face. His seer definitely told him all there is to know about seers.
"Well I can't force a vision", I spat at him. "I guess your seer didn't see that."
His eyes moved from my face all the way down to my necklace. The necklace was connected to a vile and was a gift from Jonathan. The vile contains water from the sacred river in our pack. Jonathan has a similar necklace.
"What?", I hissed at him.
He ripped off my necklace and opened the vile. With no warning, he held my face up and I felt a few drops of water hitting my eyes. The moment I opened my eyes, I felt them glowing. He had managed to trigger a vision in me somehow. I tried closing my eyes, but they remained open despite my best efforts.
I thrashed against the wall and the chains that were holding me. I had to fight this vision. I didn't want it. Despite my attempts, I started seeing images appearing before me. They were much more vivid and clearer than any vision I've ever had. It felt like if I reached out my hand, I would be able to touch it.
I saw an older looking woman with light yellow eyes and hair. She grabbed the most beautiful blue gem and put it in a wooden box and then started running. She hid in water, on barren lands, on mountains and in a forest, but she always returned to water.
My eyes met hers and it was almost like she could see me. Her bright yellow eyes wouldn't look away from me.
Tears started running down her face while her mouth trembled. "It's okay, seer", she said with a determined voice. "Do not risk your life for me."
Suddenly I saw Raphael grab her throat and tear the wooden box out of her hands. She fell to the floor while he opened the box and marvelled at the gem inside. "The Eye of the Ocean", he snarled while clutching at the gem.
Then the vision changed.
I saw Elizabeth and Mathew casting a blinding light over the magical world. This light was so bright that Raphael couldn't even get close to it or hurt anyone who was covered by that light. Then he held up that gem. That gem killed the light. Suddenly all the magical creatures who had been hidden by the light were revealed. They had nowhere to run and Raphael killed them all.
When I came to, I felt tears rolling down my cheecks. I was even sobbing. Everyone died in that vision.
Someone started wiping my tears with their cold hand. I looked up and saw Raphael. "Now, now Audrey", he cooed in my ear. "Where is it?"
I was trembling and couldn't stop myself from shaking. So many people died in that vision. We all died.
I gritted my teeth. "I don't know."
His hands grabbed my throat and I felt nails digging into it. "Don't test my patience, Audrey", he snarled at me. "Where. Is. It?!"
I bit my lip so hard that I felt blood trickling down my chin. I was going to fight the urge to tell him about this vision no matter what.
I felt bile coming up my throat. My body was demanding that I inform him about my vision.
I opened my mouth and violently hurled out as much of it as I possibly could. It burned my throat. The man was right here demanding that I tell him about my vision. That's enough to make any seer hurl out their guts. If Elizabeth or Mathew or even that woman with yellow hair and eyes were here I'd be able to tell them about my vision first and I'd be done with it. Instead, Raphael beat them all to the punch.
I felt more bile making its way up my throat, burning it repeatedly. Then I felt another cracking sound as sheer pain and agony spread through my face. Someone had dislocated my jaw again.
There was a loud ringing in my ears and I struggled to open my eyes while my vision got blurred and dizziness threatened to make me lose consciousness. I was struggling to breathe, but the bile coming up my throat didn't care about that. I was throwing up while my jaw was still healing.
"I'll...", I shut my mouth to stop more vomit from escaping my mouth. "I'll tell you", I finally said.
"Someone clean her up", I heard Raphael barking an order. "This is f*****g disgusting."
I gasped as a bucket of cold water was emptied on top of my head. It was brutally cold and seeped into my bra and underwear. It was so cold that my body passed only feeling cold. It felt like the cold was burning me.
"It's...It's", I was trembling from the cold water and the ice that was now encasing this cave. "It's in a forest filled with trees of orange and purple leaves. You'll find a woman with yellow hair and eyes waiting for you. She has the gem." I gulped. "She has the Eye of the Ocean."
"What else?", he barked at me.
I gritted my teeth. "I saw you win the war. The gem will make you win the war."
A sly smile appeared on his face as he took a deep breath. "That's what I thought. That is a vision that none of you can change, Audrey", he snarled at me. "Not even -"
He was interrupted by noise from outside.
I could feel Jonathan's tether again. He was close to me.
"Jay", I said through the link.
"Baby, are you okay? " He sounded so distressed that it pained my heart. "I'm coming for you, baby. We know where you are. Just hold on."
Raphael smirked. "I guess this is the day I meet the infamous Werewolf king."
