Agatha had managed to find a forest that was cloacked. When she removed the spell that was cast over the forest, we saw a crypt infront of us.
I wanted to finish the rescue as soon as possible so that I could return to Elizabeth before she decided to leave again or before anyone attacked her again. Orion kept reassuring me that Phoenix wouldn't let Elizabeth leave again, but I couldn't be sure. It was so easy for her to leave me. There was no guarantee that she wouldn't do it again. I just needed to figure a way around that rejection she tried to utter.
There were multiple tunnels in the crypt and Audrey's scent was all over the place. It was difficult to pinpoint the exact location where she could be found.
All the warriors spread out through the different tunnels. My instincts were telling me to go through a tunnel that was dirtier than all the others. It was covered in moss and spiderwebs.
I led my team of warriors as I walked through the tunnel. I entered an empty room and when I turned around, a block of ice was blocking the entrance into the room. Dozens of witches appeared all around the room and Audrey appeared, tied to a wall in chains. It had been cloacked to look like there was nothing there.
There was a tall man with broad shoulders and long silver hair standing next to Audrey. I couldn't sense anything before I stepped inside this room, but now that I was here I could smell all the evil witches and see their red aura. The man's aura, which was previously hidden, was now so intense that all the witches were bowing to him and poor Audrey was gasping for air.
His blue eyes looked familiar to Orion and I. It wasn't our first time seeing these eyes.
A snarl ripped out of the man's mouth when I entered the room.
"King Alden", he growled through gritted teeth, "we finally meet."
Without warning and with powerful force, Orion ripped to the forefront of my mind and took control of my body. He was angry; angrier than he had ever been before.
"What do you think you're doing, boy?" He growled at the man.
The man scoffed. "I'm back, Orion. Don't tell me you're still mad at me?"
Orion stalked him, threatening to shift right in this small crypt. Every step of his was accompanied by growl and a snarl. In the blink of an eye he rushed the man and went to grab his throat, but only managed to grab ice particles that formed as the man escaped his claws.
"I see you're still a coward, Raphael", Orion growled. He could sense that Raphael was now standing behind us.
I felt ice spikes forming in Raphael's hands, ready to stab us in the back and within seconds we moved behind him, ready to rip out his heart. We reached for him, but again, he disappeared from our grasp and left faint particles of ice behind.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk", he mocked us. "Selene must be really desperate if she brought you back, Orion."
Orion didn't bother responding. He was filled with so much rage that a roar ripped out of him. The roar was so powerful that it shook the walls of this crypt. Concrete slabs fell from the ceiling, the walls cracked and some of them crumbled and the wall of ice that was blocking the entrance came falling down.
A menacing laugh ripped out of Raphael as his witches started disappearing from the crypt. His body started turning into thin particles of ice as he also disappeared.
"I'm not strong enough to fight you yet, Orion" His icy voice travelled through the entire crypt. "But soon, the Werewolf King will be at my mercy."
Warriors came flooding inside the crypt as the walls came crumbling down. Orion immediately gave me back control and I ran to Audrey before a chunk of cement crushed her. It fell and crumbled the moment it connected with my hand.
I tore off her chains and ran out of the crumbling building while warriors followed behind us.
"Are you okay?", I asked as soon as we got outside.
Before she could answer, I heard a roar behind me. I didn't have to check who it was. I just knew that it was Jonathan.
"Hands off my mate, Mathew!", he growled at me.
I let go of Audrey and watched him run to her.
He embraced her in his arms while he inspected every part of her body. She looked really bad. She was dripping wet, shaking from the cold and her jaw looked messed up, like it was bashed in repeatedly and the bones never healed properly.
Jonathan's eyes turned red as they filled with tears.
"Who did this, Audrey?", He growled at her. "I'm going to kill them. I'm going to rip out their f*****g hearts."
"Raphael", Audrey muttered through her broken jaw. Her speech was slurred and she was struggling to speak properly because her jaw had healed improperly.
Jonathan slammed his fist against the ground repeatedly, leaving large gaping holes in it. "He's going to pay for this. I promise I'm going to make him pay."
He was struggling to control his breath.
He moved his hand down to Audrey's stomach and looked at her with so much fear filled in his eyes that were somehow asking her something.
She tried to muster a smile at him and nodded her head without saying anything. This seemed to calm him down. He let out a relieved sigh and embraced her in his arms again.

It took two and a half hours for Audrey's jaw to be set back in place and for it to start healing properly. Jonathan refused to leave her side so her healing was much faster since she had her mate nearby.
I was sitting outside her hospital room and immediately distanced myself from the place when I heard moans and groans coming from the room. She and Jonathan were definitely mating the hell out of each other. Considering what she went through this was understandable. It would help her heal faster and put Jonathan's wolf at ease.
"Ken", I said to him over the phone as I stepped outside the hospital."How is she?"
"Boss, she's sleeping", he chuckled. "She seems pretty tired."
I sighed with relief when I heard this. She was safe and she was even sleeping. This meant she wasn't trying to run away from me again.
"I'm coming to her as soon as I've spoken to Audrey. Make sure she stays there, okay?"
"Boss", he said nervously, "you know you can't do that."
"I'll find a way, Ken" I snarled st him. "Keep her there. That is an order."
I hung up the phone before he could say anything.
When I got back inside the hospital, I could still hear the sounds of Audrey and Jonathan's mating in her hospital room. I couldn't give them their privacy this time. I had to go to Elizabeth and more than enough time had passed already. Orion was even growing more agitated now. He also wanted to go back to her.
He hadn't said a word about what happened in that crypt, but he didn't need to. I saw flashes of the fight he had with Raphael in his previous life when he took over. He and Jeremiah were in so much pain. They couldn't believe that Raphael had turned out like that. It didn't make any sense to them and it still didn't make any sense to Orion. At least now he understood that there was no way to save Raphael. We had to kill him and this time it had to be for good.
I knocked on the door as loud as I could. I still heard vigorous mating sounds on the other side of the door so I knocked even louder. The sounds didn't stop, so I decided to speak up.
"If you guys don't stop right this very second, I'll order you to never mate each other again", I warned them.
That got through to them. The mating sounds stopped and I heard them chuckling and shuffling put their clothes back on.
"I would kill you with my bare hands if you ever tried to stop me from mating my Luna, Mathew", Jonathan warned me jokingly.
I shook my head and rolled my eyes at them. They both just laughed at me.
"You're completely healed, Audrey", I remarked. "I take it you're feeling better?"
She looked at Jonathan and eagerly nodded her head.
"With the way I've been mating her there's no way in hell she wouldn't be all healed up", Jonathan teased. "And I've barely even started."
Audrey covered her face with her hands from the embarrassment.
All I could do was laugh as I sat next to her.
"Tell me what happened, Audrey", I said in a serious and stern tone. "How did you get taken and what the hell did Raphael want with you?"
Fear washed over her face and she turned to look at Jonathan for comfort. He stood up from his chair and got in the bed with her. He pulled her into his chest and I watched her calm down and melt into his arms.
"I was in the royal garden", she muttered with her face slammed against Jonathan's chest. "A bunch of witches just showed up and before I could even mindlink Jay, I was suddenly in that crypt."
I took a deep breath. "Thst can only mean we have traitors in our midst. That shouldn't have happened, Audrey. I'm going to get to the bottom of this. I give you my word."
She and Jonathan just nodded their heads.
I appreciated how calm they were since this all happened in my territory and during the coronation. We had extra security since so many esteemed guests would be arriving and yet something like this still happened. This planted a seed that there was someone out there who didn't fear the Werewolf King and I needed to crush that seed before it grew into something.
"He...", she closed her eyes and a few tears rolled down her face, "he triggered a vision in me. He used the water from my necklace and somehow that triggered a vision in me."
We all gave each other a concerned look. We didn't even know that visions could be triggered willingly. But a good thing did come out of this. Now we know the water from the Black Claw pack's sacred river could trigger visions.
"What did you see in the vision?"
She almost didn't want to look at me. Jonathan tilted her head up and kissed her. It wasn't a peck on the lips. It was a real kiss with tongue and everything. I saw their hands moving under the sheets and realised I needed to stop them immediately before they went any further.
"Guys!", I shouted at them.
They reluctantly parted lips and Audrey turned to face me while nuzzled up in Jonathan's arms.
"There is a woman with yellow hair and yellow eyes. She's been hiding and guarding a gem called the Eye of the Ocean." She gulped. "That gem has the power to remove any protection we have against the witches and Raphael. Raphael wants it. Once he gets it, he will be unstoppable."
"Dammit!", I growled. "Does he know where it is?"
Tears started rolling down her eyes."He does. I'm sorry. I had to let the vision out. I tried to stop myself, but-"
"Audrey", I stopped her. "It's okay. I understand. Where is the gem?"
She steadied her breath while Jonathan wiped her tears. "The woman is keeping it hidden in a forest filled with trees that have orange and purple leaves. That's all I saw, but I think Raphael knows where that is."
I gave a nervous sigh. Although we had libraries in my kingdom filled with books of different magical creatures and different things in the Werewolf kingdom, a lot of things were still unknown to us. My parents had extensive libraries, but all those books were now lost to us because of what the witches did. We were still in the process of trying to piece a lot of information together.
"I'll ask every person in my kingdom and the royal members of every magical kingdom about this place", I finally responded with frustration lacing my voice. Someone is bound to know something."
"You rest up", I instructed her. "I have to go see Agatha about something."
"Wait, Mathew!", she yelled out to me. "You're going to see her about Elizabeth, aren't you?"
I snapped my head back at her. I was glad that she was safe, but I was in no mood for one of her lectures about needing to stay away from Elizabeth. She was all tucked up in her mate's embrace. She couldn't imagine how it felt to be separated from the one you love.
"If you tell me one more time that-"
"I won't!", she cut me off. "Raphael triggered more visions in me than he thought. I can feel another vision in me, but I won't be able to have it unless I can show it to both you and Agatha."
I immediately mindlinked Keyon.
"Keyon", I called him through the link. "Bring Agatha to Audrey's hospital room right now."
"Is this about Elizabeth", I narrowed my eyes at her.
She gulped. "I think so. I think it's time for her to come back."
I felt my heart beating in my throat. This felt like a dream. This was too good to be true.
She smiled at me. "You've already seen her, haven't you?"
"Yea", I said softly. "She's so amazing. I...", I chuckled. "You guys will see what I'm talking about when she gets here. She's like a fire that no one can tame and she's all mine."
Jonathan laughed. "So that's why you're in such a good mood! I was wondering how you've suddenly returned to your old self!"
I jokingly punched him in the shoulder and we all laughed.
Within a few minutes Keyon burst through the doors with Agatha. Jonathan and Audrey didn't notice him at all. They only saw Agatha and she also didn't notice Keyon.
"Audrey!", Agatha exclaimed. "Are you okay? Someone told me you needed me." Then she stopped talking as if in thought. "Although....I can't recall who it was."
Audrey seemed a bit too nervous in Agatha's presence. Given everything that's happened, I understood. However, I always thought they were close and that Agatha was like a mother figure to Audrey.
Audrey mustered a fake smile on her face before proceeding to talk to us.
She looked at me and Agatha nervously. "I can feel a vision within me. It can only be released if you and Agatha see it with me."
Agatha and I approached her and she held out her hands for the two of us. I awkwardly looked at Agatha and she and I both reached our hands out to Audrey. The moment our hands touched hers, her eyes started glowing.
Before long, I saw an image appearing in my mind.
