Hybrid Twins Human Mate

Chapter : 6. Trying to talk..

Truce’s point of view :-

“There she comes. Go. Talk to her.”

“No. Why would I be the one to approach her first? You go and talk to her.”

“I thought we decided that you will be the one.”

“No. We never came to any conclusion.”

Me and Mirth was arguing continuously about who will go and talk to our mate first. But none of us had the courage to face this challenge.

After following her the entire day, we found out that our mate belongs to a rich family, but she doesn’t like to show off. And according to me, she wants to earn some pocket money herself, that’s why she works at the restaurant. She turned out to be a perfect queen for us even though she is just a human. This self growing nature is what makes her special among all the humans.

At first, it was bothering us a lot on how a human is going to become a supernatural queen, but after seeing her hard work, I know she will be one of her kind. Besides, our grandmother was a human, and she was a perfect luna. Our mother was also a human when she was accepted by our fathers. Then what should we worry about?

After observing her for a day, Mirth and I decided to man up and talk to her today. So, we went to the university early and waited for her to come. But when we saw our goddess like mate coming, we both froze and started hesitating on whether to approach her or not. And before we can make a decision, she proved it to us that approaching her direct is not a good decision. The unexpected slap on a boy’s face told us not to d the same mistake as him. Yeah, it’s a different matter that when that boy caught hold of her hand, I was the one who was about to go and punch him in the face. But our mate proved to us that she is stronger than how she looks.

Like the previous day, we started following her again. She seems to be the one to become our main source of interest right now. Her every movement was so interesting to us, that we could follow her every day, all day. But it is also sad how lonely she was. She has no friends to talk to and the flirting boys on top to bother her. No wonder why she looks so sad all the time. But it broke our heart when she skipped lunch just to save herself from having another fight. She will starve herself to death if she keeps going on like this. She skipped lunch yesterday and returned home so late at night. I don’t think she ate anything in between. And today she was doing the same. We can’t let our mate starve in front of our eyes.

Mirth and I were standing way farther from her and watched her as she chose to rest on the ground. We made a plan to help our mate without being noticed by her. I went to buy some food for her along with a water bottle and told Mirth to take care of the rest.

“Why are you pushing me all the time? Why can’t you go and give this to her?”

“Because of your speed. You are faster than me. So, go and give it to her. But make sure she dosen’t see you. If she finds out that we gave it to her, she will never accept it. I think she has a serious problem with over forward boys.”

“And what if she sees me?”

“Make sure she doesn’t. Now go.” I pushed him to go with the belief that he can do the work better than me. And he did as I expected. He gave both of the things to her without being noticed by her and returned.

Standing at that same distance, we watched her look around to find the person who gave her this gift. And when she failed, there was that same angelic smile on her face as she ate everything without any waste. I felt my heart fill with joy to succeed in giving a good time at this university this first time. But that same amount of joy turned into anger and sadness when I saw her crying.

The rest of the day was going pretty nicely until the last class. I don’t know what happend to her in there but when she came out her classroom hall; she was crying her eyes out. All the other students were following her and laughing at her and she just ran from that place like a storm. Before we can understand anything, she was out of the campus.

“Hey? What’s wrong with her? Why did she run out like that?” Instead of following her, we caught hold of a boy who was also laughing at her. We demanded answer from his in a stern voice that made him fear our intentions.

“I don’t know. Some of our classmates were teasing her about being a lesbian, and she didn't take it well. Why are you pushing me for it? Go and ask them about it.” He replied in a shaky voice.

“We will.” Currently, we don’t know who is behind this ragging and what exactly happend in there. So instead of chasing blindly, we went to follow our mate just to make sure she is safe. Thankfully, she was back into her normal self as we found her in her workplace. This time, as we went to eat at that restaurant, she ended up serving us without looking up at us once.

“That’s strange. Two handsome boys like us are sitting in front of her, and she never looked up at us once. Do you think what they were saying is true? Can it be right that our mate is a lesbian?” Mirth uttered the same question I was wondering in my head.

“I don’t know. It doesn’t look like that. She is not looking up at any girls as well. Maybe she is too sad about today’s incident to focus.”

“I hope you are right or else we will have a bigger problem than what we are already in.”

“I think we should start trying to talk to her. It’s been two days and we are only following her. We don't even know what's her name.”

“Do you think it will be okay to do that? I mean, she's already in so much trouble. The boys of the University aren't making it easy for her to trust others.”

“I know. But if things keep going on like this, she will stop trusting anyone ever again. We have to make her feel safe. We have to prove to her that not all boys are the same. “

“You are right. We should do that. So, tomorrow you are going to go first and start the conversation.”

“What? No. Why me? You will talk to her first.”

“This is your plan. So you will be the one to do so.”

“No. I got the idea. So, you will be the one to apply it..”

Our argument lasted the rest of the night until her shift was over and she went back home safely. Since we found our mate, both of us brothers have gotten a child inside us that keeps fighting for one toy. It brought a new meaning to our boring life. Now I understand how a mate changes everyone's life. We haven’t even gotten her properly and we have already changed so much. But we haven’t told anyone about her yet because we don’t want our family to grow expectations when we don’t know ourselves how this is going to end up. First, we have to talk to our mate and find out what she wants before letting everyone know.

The next day, we made up our mind about talking to her. I agreed to be the one to approach her first because Mirth was too cowardly to do so. But all of our plans have changed since the moment she stepped inside the university. I don’t understand what is going on but all the students were talking bad things about her everywhere. They were teasing her and bullying her for no reason. It seemed like the entire institute was going against her. Is this because she rejected those boys? Or is it part of that group’s plan of which she slapped a boy? Or maybe they are all in this together to make her life hell?

All of their words and actions were creating fire in both of us brother. We want to wipe down the entire university for bullying our innocent mate. But we are powerless in this matter. We can’t inter fear in human matters just because we are supernaturals. Or else, all of them might have never thought of teasing another innocent like her. And if they knew who we are, they might have never looked up at our mate in the first place.

The limit of our patience was crossed when a group of her class mates started throwing food at her in the cafeteria at the lunch time. She must have gotten too hungry today because she chose to eat something. But just as she sat down at an empty table at the end of the cafeteria, they started calling her names and throwing food at her. That ticked me off and I have had it.

“You fu*king basterds. Why don’t you pick on someone of your own standers. Do you feel happy by teasing an innocent girl?” I snapped out at them as I rushed to their table and picked one of the boys up by the collar of his shirt. Mirth also followed me and punched a boy who was about to hit me to save his friend. His one his was enough to make that boy fall two feet far from where he was and become unconscious. That scared the rest of his group as they immediately ran away from there, leaving the one in my hand alone.

“I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I won’t do that again. I promise. Please let me go.” He started shaking in fear and that’s when I realized what we just did. Without intention, we just showed our power in front of everyone. I think we are going to be in a problem for this.

“What have you done? Why did you hit him? Oh no! We are going to be in big trouble.”

It was our plan to go to our mate and talk to her first. But instead the situation became like this, where she has to be the one to come to us and talk to us first. Even though her voice was full of worry, it was magical. Our mate was talking to us. She came to us herself and talk to us. I forgot everything as I kept watching her sweat in fear. That’s when Mirth broke my trance and pointed me towards the principal standing at the cafeteria door. Oh shi*t.

“All four of you, come to my office right now. And please, someone take that boy to the nurse.”

He pointed towards the boy who is laying unconscious till now from Mirth’s punch and I noticed that I am still holding that first boy in my hand. And just because our mate was standing near us, she also got into trouble with us. Now all four of us have to face the principal at the office where he is going to give us some lecture and going to call our parents for our mistake. If it’s mom who takes the call, then we are saved. But if it’s one of our dads, then we are done. I wonder who gave the news to the principal so fast. He or she probably has faster speed than Mirth.
