CHAPTER 6

Sky POV

Before I could answer the beta, Cody came in front of me as in protecting me. Ooww how cute! I love him already. "Don't talk to her like that! She saved us from the rogues". The beta looked around us at the rogues who were lifeless on the ground then his eyes landed on me and I could see that they didn't hold that hard look anymore but they had a warm one full of gratitude.

"Thank you for saving my daughter and Cody without you there was a big possibility we would have found them dead and that's why I am very grateful to you". I could see that he was a nice person and a hot one at that. Well all of them were really handsome. The beta had silky brown hair and beautiful green eyes, Lisa looked a lot like him, he had a nice and muscular body and he was 6 ft. 7 tall. The other two were identical twins, they both had blonde/white hair, nice bodies but not as much muscular as the beta and not as tall, they were 6 ft. 5 the only difference was the color of their eyes one had blue eyes and the other hazel eyes.

The beta then continued "But you need to come with us anyway. Our Alpha needs to know who you are and why you are in our territory, well and also thank you for saving his son and my daughter". By the way he was looking at me I knew I hadn't any choice, I had to go with them. "HURRAAAY!! SKYLAR IS COMING WITH US!!" Cody shouted enthusiastically and came to hug me. It warmed my heart knowing that he already liked me and I hugged him back. Well even if I didn't want to go with them now I couldn't say no.

I took his hand in mine and followed the others. After a bit the beta introduced himself and the others. "Well I know already that your name is Skylar so I'll just introduce ourselves. My name is Trevor and I am the beta of the Crescent Moon pack, and this two are Justin the one with blue eyes and Dustin the on with hazel eyes"

"Nice to meet you guys"

"So while we walk to the pack house that will take at least 20 minutes, why don't we play 20 questions??" Justin suggested. "So let's start by how old are you" that was Dustin. "Well I turned 16 years old yesterday, what about you guys" "Oh! Happy birthday Skylar" they all said with warm smiles, it made me so happy because except Notte nobody have ever told it to me, I smiled at them and thanked them. "As for our ages, we are 17 years old and Trevor is 20 years old" "What is your favourite color?" "Ehmmmm I don't particularly have a favorite color, I think I like them all. What about you?" "Definitely blue" Trevor, and the twins said with a duh tone. Boys and blue. I just rolled my eyes playfully at them. "Green and also black like your wolf" Cody said smiling at me. "Pink and Puple" Lisa's voice is so adorable and the fact she couldn't say the letter R made it even more cute.

We asked a few more questions like favorite movies, favorite music, favourite food until we reached the pack house. I should say very big mansion, it was beautiful with a beautiful pool in front. "You should close your mouth if you don't want to catch some flies" Justin teased me while there others were smirking at me. I closed my mouth and glared at them playfully. I really liked them, they were like big brothers and I felt I could be myself with them. When we went inside I was schocked, this house was amazing, it was warm and welcoming. The walls were a beautiful creamy color decorated with beautiful paintings, there were 2 stairs on each side of the hall.

We went up the stairs and walked passing numerous doors until we come in front of a double wooden door with Alpha office written on it. Well here we are. Trevor looked at me with a smile reassuring me that everything will be OK, he knocked on the door and then we waited. After a few seconds I heard a voice say Come in and it made chills run down my body but in a good way. I ignored the feeling and entered after the guys. The first thing that attacked me was this delicious smell of honey and Lime it made my knees go weak, then i looked in front of me and there sitting on a comfy chair was a supermodel, he was so hot and handsome, he was perfect in everything, his black hair, his blue gray eyes, his strong jawline, his full lips, his muscular body. I thought Jack was handsome but this man in front of me was from another world. The butterflies that I felt the moment I knew jack was my mate were nothing compared to the Vulcano that I am feeling now in my stomach. I didn't know why this man was having this powerful effect on me.

I was so entranced looking at him that I didn't feel Cody leaving my hand and going to hug the Greek God. "Dad, this is Skylar and she saved us from three rogues. Could she stay with us please, please, pleaaaaase" Cody pleaded with his dad. Wait a moment did he say dad? Oh yeah I remember Trevor mentioning that Cody was the son of the Alpha. I didn't know why the thought of him already having a mate and a family made my heart ache. What is happening to me I don't even know this man. It's seems Cody's voice also snapped him from his state and he looked at his son with a warm smile. Oh my God that simple smile made the Vulcano inside me erupt that I thought I was going to pass out. I could see Trevor and the twins smirking at me with a knowing look but I didn't understand, nothing of what was happening the moment I got inside this room was comprehensible. "So you are the wolf that saved Cody and Lisa from three rogues. I am really grateful to you I will always be indebted to you for saving my son and the beta's daughter. Thank you" OMG his voice was so hot it made tingles run down my body.

Come on Skylar snap out of it you are making a fool of yourself. "You are welcome. I did what everyone would have done in that situation" "No, a lot of wolf would have run away being one against three rogues but you didn't and to be honest I am very impressed" that made my wolf and I very proud, then he continued saying "but as Alpha and for the protection of my pack I need to know who are you and what are you doing in my land" "My name is Skylar James and I am 16 years old. I am the third daughter of the Dark Moon pack's beta. As for why I am here it's because I ran away from my pack" "And why did you run away? If you don't mind me asking you".

Should I tell them? "Yes tell them everything so they won't send us back to our old pack and plus they seem nice people" Notte said always being the voice of reason. "I wasn't treated nicely, ever since I could remember I have been the pack slave. They abused me and nobody ever cared for me, but what gave me the strenght to run away was my mate rejecting me" I could hear gasps from all four of them and they looked at me with pained eyes as if me being hurt hurted them too. But that wasn't possible my own family didn't care why would someone care for a stranger. "Would you like to join our pack?" To say I was shocked was an understatement, did the Alpha just propose me to join their pack?? But what if they turn to be like my old pack and hurt me? Sensing my insecurities the Alpha added " Don't worry nobody will ever hurt you here and if someone thought of hurting you I will punish them severely. I am sure they will all love you and it seems Cody and Lisa already love you" With that he washed all my doubts. "Yes! I'd love to join your pack" "Well then I Alpha Damian Evans accept and welcome Skylar James in the Crescent Moon pack. We will hold a ceremony for you to meet the pack and to get to know them and them you. Then we will officially welcome you so you could talk with us through the mind link" "Thank you Alpha Damian" "Just Damian is enough" he said smiling at me. Even his name was hot.

"Welcome to the pack Sky. Now we have a new sister!" Dustin and Justin hugged me and I hugged them back. Then it was the turn of Cody and Lisa "Yuppieeee Sky will stay with us!! Now we could go an play together with the other kids" "Not now Cody, first Skylar need to settle in her new room and rest. While you and Lisa need to go have a bath and then to bed and maybe tomorrow she can play with you. Right Skylar?" I just nodded at him. "Okey daddy. Good night Sky see you tomorrow".

Damian got up and asked me to follow him. We went to the third floor and after passing some doors we came in front of a white one. "Well this is your room, if you need anything just tell me. Tomorrow I will ask Juliet to bring you to the mall so you could buy clothes and whatever you need" "No this is too much I can't accept all of this" plus I had this ability that I can use to have any clothes I want, but I didn't say it out loud I still need to know if I could trust them. "Nonsense, you are one of us now and I will be sure to give you everything you need and make you as comfortable as possible" "Thank you Damian" I could tell he was really a great Alpha. "Well then I will see you tomorrow. Good night Skylar" "Good night".

I opened the room and felt my mouth open in shock for the second time today. This room was amazing. Everything was white and creamy. The bed was big and looked very comfy, there was a plasma TV attached to the wall. The window had an amazing view of the forest. There were two other doors in this room, one was a wardrobe and the other an even more beautiful bathroom. After doing my business in the bathroom I lied on the bed, it was so soft and nice. After a bit I could feel my self drifting to sleep and the last thing I saw were two beautiful blue/gray eyes.
