Episode 43-The rescue

“What the f**k Hero?” I frowned as I faced my alien husband who looked like he had been panicking, he looked scared and frustrated, and seriously he should be.

“Are you okay?” He questioned staring at me in utter bewilderment heaving slow panicking breathes.

“Hero, I’m not f*****g okay, you draw me out when I’m stopping a collapsing building, right now I might die if you don’t snap me back to my consciousness-

“A collapsing building, how did that even happen?” Hero frowned.

“Are you going to send me back already or have me explain the details to you so you could come and have my body pulled out later under the debris of the building” I replied with a voice dripping of sarcasm as I stared angrily at him, it was then I started to get the perfect picture of my surroundings.

“Hero, why the f**k are you in my house?” I didn’t get to hear the answer as I suddenly gasped out into consciousness to see few humans covering me as the rocks keep falling, then I felt this sudden energy welling up inside of me, choking me a little, I started to move away from the few humans that was showing all their efforts to protect me from the falling debris of the building.

“Leave” I pleaded to them as my body started to burn, the feeling was so strange and I knew whatever was welling up in me ready to escape wasn’t so good, it was definitely similar to the energy hit I released in the ship, I was gonna do it again I was certain, why was it happening? I couldn’t tell. My body tenses as I fell back to the ground, then I started to shake and tremble until I scream and release a massive purple wave that destroyed everything around me. The building everything exploded despite being buried underground, it exploded out and spread so far that it covers about 6miles, the debris from the building that scattered off could be picked at about a distance of 10miles I was certain. I heaved a heavy sigh and watch the sunlight that embraced me since everything covering up the building had being blown off.

Then I turned to the few humans around, all of them scattered just like the debris and I could tell few of them were dead considering how lifeless they look. I stood and started to walk to their direction…their skins were unusually pale and it looked like someone drained life out of them.

Most had their white plain white just like their skin while most had their eyes looking at a single direction and that was me. I didn’t understand what was going on and it terrifies me, suddenly…a loud rumble started echoing throughout some considerable and I felt an earthquake might happen, more panic rose to my chest as the ground started to shift but then I saw a massive ship appearing from the thick mist of the cloud and hope suddenly ignited in me, I started to hope that was Hero and thankfully, it was him because the ship started to look into the heavy dust clouding them using some type of spotlight and eventually they found me, then a massive light shone on me but before they could send anyone down to get me I decided to levitate up.  

The ship was unlike those of earth, so I was guessing it might actually belonged to Hero, but I wanted someone to appear and give me that assurance and eventually the door to the ship opens up but I didn’t go in until I saw a Ghafil beckoning me in while fighting with his cloak as it kept pulling towards the door since massive force of air was rushing into the ship.

“My queen the king sent us” That word sent relief into my spine and I slowly moved into the open door allowing the Ghafil to lead me in. It looks like a luxury ship or something, it was like a house…alien house because the inside design was look similar to the palace on Zullion, they were few other Ghafils inside the ship, everyone immediately showed respect as I walked in but all of them looked shocked somehow but didn’t dare say anything. I turned back to towards the door that the other Ghafil was closing and I suddenly recalled the few humans around there.

“There are few surviving humans down there…save them” They were pretty taken aback by my request but didn’t argue with me and immediately set to it while the female Ghafils lead me into the ship chamber which seems like a very good place to rest since it was well furnished with everything I might need and looked typically like any room on Zullion.

 I was gestured to the bathroom to have a normal bath and I must say, it was exactly what I needed…the rumbling of the earth could be heard in the ship and I keep wondering if that was really an earthquake or something else…but the ground moved so it I guessed it was an earthquake, I run the water down my skin and I watched as it run down I slowly and conveniently like a water on leather clothes; amazing if you ask me. I was still examining my new cover of skin when I lowered my hand to my stomach, I felt like I already have a bump which weird for me because I didn’t have a bump before.

And I was still very hungry so it couldn’t be I’ve eaten so much food to push my stomach that much or was I getting fat? I couldn’t really tell, and this couldn’t possibly be a baby bump…I don’t know how old the baby was but I knew it wasn’t hold enough to give me a bump yet. I ignored my curiosity to learn while my stomach felt bigger and left the bathroom then stroll down to the bed where few clothes had been laid down for me, there was a set of table, chairs and sofas across the bed and the table was abundantly filled with different types of food which I made sure to the last spoon of it, I didn’t know how much I miss food on Zullion until that moment. I’ve always hated the food on Zullion because of how it looked but I missed the taste, it tasted to different from the vegetables though they both perform the same function.

I stood from where I stood and heaved a heavy sign as I looked out of the small window similar to the window on an aeroplane I was certain, the edges were perfectly curved, the glass in the small frame was extremely thick and I could feel it as I placed my hands on the window, it was through the window that I found exactly what was causing the earth movement, wherever the facility was…it was located in the middle of heavy glaciers and with ice landscapes, and whatever was rumbling was not an earthquake but a massive snow avalanche.

“What the…” I muttered as I saw the heavy snow rolling in our direction with massive icy mist.

“Queen Aira, we would be moving now…few humans are found alive and have been taken to the emergency section for immediate medical attention, the ship will set off soon due to disaster reasons, the pilot want you to relax and stay calm as no harm will come to you, also an assistant will be positioned in front of your door in case you need anything” The female Ghafil I’m guessing was the air hostess relayed her message and I nodded to her in understanding moving to the neatly arranged bed. After a heavy sigh, I pulled the cover over me and decided a quick nap, which I found myself unable to do, I was very worried about the humans that had survived the collapse and my conscience was screaming at me to check up on them so eventually I was forced to.

“Um, where exactly is the emergency section? I want to check on the humans saved” I requested the air hostess stationed in front of my door, she gave me an awkward smile and started to lead me down a narrow hallway illuminated by bright cream light reflected perfectly by the walls of the hallway.

“This way your majesty” I didn’t know the translation of the last part of what she said in Ghafilan but since it was pretty used for Hero and me back on Zullion, I’m guessing that was what they were trying to insinuate. The temperature kept dropping as we moved down a dimly lighted hallway which we approached afterwards, then we climb down few steps that lead into what I guess was a basement, it was so cold; practically freezing, they were about 15 humans there, all clutching to each other for warmth, I didn’t know why I was so mad but I turned back to the hostess whose face pale at the purple glow in my eyes.

“You put them here!” I raised my voice louder than I intended and I feel panic rose to the air.
