Episode 42-Escaping

I slowly landed my feet on the ground as soon as I saw Mr. Anderson making his way in, I couldn’t believe my eyes. How could he be here? I couldn’t stop asking myself, he looked surprised at how casually I had called him, of course…he was still looking quite built even in his early fifties, he was the scientist that had been researching on the aliens, Hailey’s dad during the apocalypse…his research had helped a lot in fighting the aliens but I couldn’t believe he was cruel enough to be involved in something like this.

“Save the others” I commanded the Ghafils that had surrounded me in Ghafilan and they gave me a worried look as I stood staring at Mr. Anderson.

“Go” I ordered and they nodded leaving through the door behind me.

“You don’t know me?” I asked as Mr. Anderson studied me, I could tell he was trying to distract me and inject me with whatever he was hiding behind him, sedative I guess.

“Hailey would be so disappointed in you” He froze at the mention of his daughter’s name.

“Or does she also know about this because now I can’t vouch for anyone of you…so much has changed since the apocalypse…even if the Ghafils tried to take our home, they are not all bad so tell me why you decided to do this to them?” Mr. Anderson looked pretty confused since he definitely hasn’t put the pieces together.

“Hero didn’t help us for us to do this to his people-

“Claire?” He asked in a pretty shocked tone.

“I can’t believe you would do this” I replied him and he sighed,

“Believe me I didn’t want to do this either, they forced me to…Claire, how? How…how did you managed to…” I cut off his question by slowly lifting myself to the air ignoring his questions.

“It’s a very long story but...these aliens are my people now…if you lay a finger on them again; I will retaliate” With that, I headed out of the holding cells, the securities were electrocuting most of them while a lot were fighting, the singers are singing and I could see the defenders playing their part too. I exhaled before I started to make a round big energy bulb radiating with blue and purple light, after I had made it big enough, I blast it in their midst and have everyone fixed in their position with the force of the energy field I had created, I could see it trapping them and making it unable for them to move, their body had the purple light on them as they all froze in whatever position they were.

“Are there any other Ghafils in holding?” I asked the Ghafil which I slowly freed from the force around him, he was short and slim but his face showed his maturity.

“Yes, the vile ones amongst us are kept in the basement which is heavily guarded” The short Ghafil relayed politely and I closed my eyes feeling my environment, I could hear their heartbeats and their heavy breathing and I could guess they were about 10 of them. I started to move in the direction tearing down and blasting whatever was on my way. I got to the basement and I saw another type of cells illuminated with heavy white light and each cell, they had some kind of system, the Ghafils in there were looking weak, tired and hopeless. One hand changed and had two tubes fixed into the bracelet they have on, they were constantly injecting them with oxygen to have them under control, immediately their eyes met mine they had I saw hope flicker in them and I saw tears in their eyes.

My heart cringed as a sudden pain arouse from within, how could they do this to them? I thought before a purple light started to revolve around me in a fast circular motion, then I screamed spreading and dispersing them in multiple waves shattering the glasses that had caged them. Using all my senses I gritted my teeth together as I pull towards myself invincible material slowly clenching my hand and I heard the metals cracking and clenching as they slowly give way, the system alarm blared in the building as electrical sparks sputter from the machine the Ghafils were trapped too, they free themselves and ran out to me, they bowed as I stared at them feeling immense anger, I levitate back to where everyone was trapped and started to free the Ghafils.

“I’ll release you immediately I’m out of here. You’ll have five minutes to leave this place because I will be bringing it down” I told them and one of the Ghafils I just saved came forward.

“Apologies my Queen but I think that is a terrible idea” The Rofik challenged in Ghafilan and I looked her in the eyes while slowly moving to her.

“I could understand your opinion perfectly you want me to kill them?” I asked her with the language as well while I moved closer.

“They will come after us my Queen…they should die” She insisted and I smirked.

“If you think that then I’ll have to kill you with them” Her eyes flicker.

“You shouldn’t waste a soul no matter what wrong they had done to you, they had done you wrong and cause you immeasurable pain but killing them won’t make you feel any better…now, take the others out of here while I destroy this place” I told her and she hissed softly in anger, she was a singer and I could tell she was about to retaliate so I blast her with an energy ball sending making her hit one of the systems of metals that connected different pathways of the facility, I levitated to her side and looked into her face.

“You will do as I say!” I gritted harshly letting out a strange sound that sounded like I was vibrating. She reluctantly went to her feet while gritting and fighting for control.

“Good” I muttered while moving back to the rest of the group.

“What for me outside where you’re are safe,” I ordered Ghafilan and they nodded. I waited for about 20mins after they were gone before releasing the humans, then I started to destroy the towers, the building and cells inside the facility as the humans ran for their lives, I ripped off the metals in every structure of the building while some idiotic humans thinks firing at me was the best thing to do, creating a force field around me before their bullets would get to me I controlled and hit them against the opposite wall.

“I said save yourself you morons” I screamed and they hesitated, I caught at a corner of my eyes a heavy half constructed metal falling on two humans, I immediately held it up with telekinetic ability but the forces holding back the metal could still be seen as glowing purple light rotate around it.

“Get out of here” I screamed at them as they stood staring at me in shock, they immediately heeded then I let go of the heavy metal I had been holding using a direct energy. The building was collapsing now and I felt I needed to leave but then I recalled the doctor’s trapped in the other part of the build, I dropped to the ground and started to race towards the direction they were trapped in, there they were in the middle of a huge dome scared to death as the building were starting to fall. I looked around trying to come up with how to help them and for a minute I couldn’t think of anything then an idea occur to me.

“Hold on tight to anything you can over there” I warned them and they all grabbed the bed imbedded into the floor. Then I started to create a heavy energy force then draw it up to slant it before I sent it flying down to the pillar, if possible I wanted to severe it from the cube floor it was holding, I kept on doing that until it started to c***k and slant, one of the group of doctors let loose and was about falling when I sent a massive force to the cube making another energy force in a cube shape around it restricting them from falling out of the cube as I continue to hit the pillar with energy blasts until it gave way and before the cube ground could fall I held it, groaning at how hard I had to hold it afloat as I controlled it towards the entrance. Immediately they were close enough I depreciated the force field around the cube so they could get into the other part of the building while I dropped the ground into the abyss.

“Leave” I told them and they hurried away as the building continue to fall but I finally found out the mistake I was making when the transportation system failed since the building was collapsing, we were all underground and we needed a transportation system to go up or the building was going to crumble on us, I finally realised that as people were trying to force the elevator open.

I had used my force to stop countless falling rocks and building parts from collapsing on them but I knew I wouldn’t be able to stop everything, I was sweating profusely while thinking of what to do and stopping the falling debris of the building from collapsing on the remaining humans in the building but then I started to feel sleepy and I felt something drawing me, Hero not now! I subconsciously pleaded but no, I felt myself falling until I hit something solid.
