Episode 42-An unexpected

After I had tried to play it cool with everyone after I had a heart to heart talk with my family, not that I have instantly forgiven them for all they did but I had to act like everything was fine especially after watching the news…the atmosphere was as thick as a solid brick but eventually we survived it and had casual conversations until everyone decided to go back home, now I was picking up the litters of plastic cups and forks after the not so happy reunion with Claire, Charlie and Hero. After our discussion upstairs none of us had actually talked to one another, well except for Hero and I, we had few casual conversations that always ended with Hero assuring me everything was gonna be good.

“Hey” Claire called but since we were four so I never thought she was to me so I didn’t bother to look up, I just took the dirty dishes to the sink instead to have them washed, then she came to join me afterwards.

“Claire” She called and I was forced to look up from the dishes I was washing. I quirked an eyebrow at her in question expecting her to talk and she sighed.

“When are you gonna stop been mad with me?” She asked trying hard to sound nice and act calm but she seems to have developed a short temper over the past five years as she still sounded annoyed.

“You very much treated me like trash through my entire stay here, so you apologised just few minutes ago and you want forgiveness already?” I scoffed and she relaxed.

“You made me regret coming over in the very first place-

“I’m sorry; I didn’t know you were in love with Hero and thought-

“I liked Nicholas and trying to throw myself at him, Claire for f**k sake we are literally the same person and we both loved Nick but I was f*****g married and I love Hero too, I tried to make you see that I have nothing to do with Nick, if not Nick you were already treating me like garbage any way” With that said, I finished rinsing up the last plate and placed it carefully on the rack before leaving the kitchen and moving towards my brother and Hero, the tension between them was as sharp as the edge of a newly made sword, sharp enough to cut down a tree, it was easy to point out they just finished having an argument of their own.

“Is everything alright?” I asked slowly moving closer to them.

“Yeah everything’s fine” My brother immediately responded and I narrowed my eyes at both of them because I could literally smell the tension.

“Okay-

“Daddy” Little Cam came strolling into the sitting room with Tanya hot on his trails.

“Oh baby, come here” Charlie’s face immediately dissolved into a smile as he opened his hands for his adorable two year old.

“He won’t sleep” Tanya sounded exasperated as she stared at her Fiancée and child.

“Maybe he just doesn’t want to sleep yet” Charlie smiled smiling at the boy.

“But babe I’m exhausted, maybe you should tuck him to bed when you’re done please” Tanya complained heading back upstairs.

“You guys are staying over tonight?” I turned to my brother at the question.

“Yeah, we decided to spend the night with you guys since it’s Sunday, then leave tomorrow because I have to go back for work and also, Tanya is a teacher at Serene high school-

“My high-school?” I asked surprised by the news but Charlie just shrugged.

“The pay was good so she decided to just hang there a bit before she finishes her higher studies and become a professor in linguistics” My brother had a proud look on his face and I must say even I was proud of Tanya, no I was proud of every one of them; that night I figured how everyone of them had made great development in their lives, none of them was lacking anywhere, not even the older ups. Mr Stewart now own a sister company of Nick, Danny and Brian’s company in China, Mr. Robinson had a private airport…almost everyone of them was living a very comfortable live and I’m very happy for them.

“But you need not worry, we’ll be staying in the visitor’s room, you and Hero can have my room” My brother doesn’t look very comfortable with the option, he sounded like he had no other choice, My brother was a big fan of Hero, I wondered the sudden change of his mind.

“Okay” I muttered and slowly headed upstairs, I decided to have a proper bath afterwards and I was surprised at my huge bump, not that it had gotten any bigger since the last change but it still look bigger than it should, I moved my hand over my stomach and I felt my baby kick making me laugh, reviving him was the only good thing that happened to me in captivity. I was really glad I could save him; I sighed and turned on the shower loving how the warm water slid off me, I could feel my body changing back to my real form but I didn’t bother changing back as I decided to wash my now blue skin, but then I felt a presence, a familiar presence that soothed me immediately the hands held my waist. A kiss was placed on my shoulder and I moaned as my body immediately reacted to it. I run my palm down my face to clear my face off the water before turning to Hero who face stood bare in front of me like an alien god, I stiffened a laugh at my own adjective and Hero narrowed her face at me.

“What?” He questioned but I shrugged.

“It’s nothing” I told him returning back to my human form since he was still in a human form. I grabbed a towel and exit the bathroom slowly while he had his own bath.

“Earth is a dangerous place for us right now” Hero said after moving back to the room, I had put on a baggy T-shirt of Charlie that I found.

“Yeah I know” I replied getting under the covers as Hero approached the clothes I had set down from him with water heavily dripping from his n***d body. But instead of putting on any clothes he walked over to my side.

“I don’t even think it’s advisable for us to be here right now after what we saw on TV, but we need a day to assemble heavy ships that way we’ll be able to load the stranded Ghafils and return to Zullion at once-

“I doubt you’ll be able to do that with the earth government interfering Hero” I told him as he slowly climbed on the bed, weight dipping down heavily on the mattress as his hands stood at the sides of my thighs trapping my legs under him.

“yes, it’s exactly what I’m worried about right now-

“What if people get hurt?” I was starting to draw a line of what he was implying.

“You aren’t planning on hurting humans are you?” I questioned him with a frown on my face.

“I can’t help it if they attack my people-

“They are just trying to defend theirs, is that a crime?” I questioned with my brows still furrowed tight at him.

“I can’t just leave them firing at my people, turns out at this moment negotiations won’t work, not after what happened at that facility, so leaving earth is like probably the best choice but if they interfere with that I will not stand still, I’m telling you so you won’t be surprised-

“So, you’re telling me despite knowing how I’ll feel? Hero I’m human…I can’t let you hurt them” I frowned at him but he just sighed and lean in to kiss me but I dodged his mouth not wanting to welcome his advances but he wasn’t having it. He held my chin and hold it down to kiss me but I didn’t respond to him until his hands started to move all over me, he slowly moved away the covers covering my n***d thighs and started to run his hands on them moving upward slowly.

“Hero, I’m not in the mood for this” I told him wanting to stop despite my body yelled otherwise.

“You know you are, it’s normal and rational for a positive response when your mate make any s****l advances, you unconsciously responded because you can feel what he feels, I know you want me to but if you don’t” Hero totally pulled away from me and got under the covers with his back turned on me, I battled my lashes in shock at his sudden action, I felt empty and lost at his withdrawal of his warmth and touch, my body screams with need as I watch his back turned at me, groaned as wave of want hit me consecutively and I knew that wasn’t me but him sending those waves, I heaved an exasperated sigh and moved my hand around his waist unable to take it anymore, he slowly turned giving me a smile and I arched a brow at him in question before he kissed me, he cupped my neck and deepen the kiss, he shifted positioning himself between my legs with my lips still trapped in his, things were about to get serious when a heavy knock landed on the door, the knock was repeated in a hurry and it was easy to guess that something was seriously wrong.

“Hero, you might need to put some clothes on?” I said as we quickly split then I immediately hurry to the door while Hero changed, a cosmic energy blast was already forming in my hands I got the door, it was Claire who look a little perturbed as she clenched a fistful of her nightgown after-dress to her chest.

“Claire I think you should leave, I was about to get some sleep when I heard noises downstairs, those people are here again and they are insisting on searching the house right now” Claire’s eyes darted to Hero who was just pulling up the trousers.

“How long do we got?” I questioned but the heavy footsteps that echoed down on the hallway told me we’ve got no time. I left the room and came face to face with a hefty man who was about 2ft taller than me and he seems he was studying me closely, he was using the lens, before he could raise the heavy guns in his hands I blasted him off with a cosmic energy blast that had electricity whizzing around my hand as a effect.

“Hero, we need to go!” I declared.
