“Are you sure about this?” Hero’s question drew me out of my reverie as I was a little distracted thinking about the choices that I had, apparently I didn’t want to have to fight the humans and neither was a willing to abandon over a million Ghafils due to selfish reasons.

“Yeah, I’m certain” I affirmed letting out a calm breath as Hero studied me for a few seconds perhaps searching for doubts and uncertainties but I had masked those pretty well.

“Okay then” He smiled.

“Extend the days for the evacuation, three days at most and anyone still refuse to meet up after that, make sure to announce it to them properly they are no longer going to be under our protection and that is the end of it” Hero sighed and stood facing the chief straight and looking him in the eye as he communicated to him in Ghafilan.

“Yes my liege” The chief replied politely and slowly turned back and left, then Hero turned back to look at me with a worried look on his face.

“We can’t hide from the earth’s satellite for long; it won’t be long before they found out the hidden camp and evacuation area, they will immediately retaliate-

“Then we should immediately prepare for that. We shouldn’t put a front of heavy offensive attack, it should be a defence system, but we would be prepared for any offensive attack on their side, if they attack first...we would retaliate accordingly” I suggested firmly and Hero smiled.

“You are a born leader” He remarked giving me a light peck that sent tingles down my spine.

“I think we need a proper rest now-

“No, I need a proper you” Hero smirked moving to my lips and slowly taking them in his while he slowly lifted me and shifted me to the back until I was in the middle of the bed, then he slowly lowered himself between my thighs while battling to keep his clothes off.

“I’m a little tired right now Hero” I complained while trying to control the sudden flay of emotions and hormones that pumped into my veins affecting every section of my body.

“Hero” I groaned as he pressed me to the soft material which I was certain wasn’t from earth. Hero didn’t stop with the teasing and didn’t stop at making me want him until he finally got what he wanted, I slept off in his arms and wake up when I had the sudden urge to pee, I stood and found out Hero wasn’t beside me so I decided to pee first before looking for him and after finally figuring out with chambers contains the toilet, I moved out to look for Hero and finally found him in a serious discussion with 6 to 7 other Ghafils some of which were in human forms while the others just assumed their normal alien form.

“Hero” I whined wanting nothing more than to be in his arms.

“Is something wrong?” He questioned while standing up from the floating chair he sat on around the average size conference table.

“No, I’m sleepy” I complained and he frowned wondering what I meant by my complains but he get to find out as I kept rubbing my eyes childishly, the other Ghafils seated around the conference table had their eyes fixated on my stomach and it took me a minute to figure why they all had a shocked expression on their faces, I half-screamed on seeing how grown my baby bump had gotten over the night.

“How is this even possible?” Hero muttered as he slowly moved closer moving his hand to my growing belly, his hands moved and I felt a sudden jerk.

“He just kicked” My eyes widened in utmost shocked as I relayed my discovery, but Hero was still looking horrified and I must say he looked pretty scared.

“How soon can we meet a doctor?” he questioned turning back to the group of Ghafils he was in a meeting with.

“Immediately we land my liege” One of the group members politely replied.

“Hero, what’s wrong?” I asked fear suddenly gripping me.

“This meeting is dismissed, you can all go back to your work now” Hero ordered and everyone started leaving, leaving just the two of us in the small glass confined space looked very much like any conference room in any big office, just this one was on a ship.

“This is very unusual Claire, no Ghafils had a fast growth like this before, the changes you’re going through is starting to make me worry, first your skin turn blue…I haven’t quite gotten any proper explanation for it and then the child is growing too fast, it takes 10months and more for a normal Ghafil to be born and this child looks like it wouldn’t stay a day over two months in the stomach…I think we need to meet a doctor or a specialist for a proper solution” Hero talk out his fears but unfortunately, I didn’t feel like I was in the mood for the talk, I was in a serious need of a cuddle.

“Okay fine, can you come back to bed now?” My question took him by surprise and he immediately frowned.

“I don’t know why I feel I need you to be beside me as I slowly fall asleep” I told him and surprisingly he led me back to the bed, then he slowly lay down next to me, he still had the surprise look on her face though, even as I took his hand and put it around my waist and moved back into his chest to have him covering me up, I exhaled deeply and decided to sleep back but I was already dozing off when I felt a familiar warmth disappearing, I was forced to grab back Hero’s hands and make sure it stays around me.

“Claire, I have really important matters that need to be tend to right now…the kingdom matters as well as plans regarding the evacuation” Hero muttered as if asking for my permission to leave but I just really wanted him to stay with him so I didn’t say anything and also didn’t let go of his hand until eventually I fell asleep and when I woke up, Hero was placing me down on a different bed, I held unto him and didn’t want to let him go but he was also not having it this time.

“Hero” I whined as he headed for the door while he let out an exasperated sigh.

“Claire, what is going on with you? You’re acting a little clingy…I have to address the people that are all ready for evacuation, also I have to call my brothers on the arrangement about where 1.5million Ghafils will stay, I have a lot of things on my neck right now” Hero sounded frustrated all of a sudden and I don’t know why that made me teary, he was shocked seeing tears run down my cheek like he hit me or something, I also didn’t know what was going on with me I just got all moody and sad and I wanted so much to just go back to bed with Hero’s hand on mine.

“Claire, what’s wrong?” Hero groaned completely frustrated by my sudden actions.

“It’s called the emotional mood swings my liege, a Ghafils with pale Green skin and long ears appeared at the door with a doctor’s coat.

“She’s experiencing a continuous, drastic rapid and irregular change of mood due to the status she is my liege” the doctor explained and I looked down at my baby bump and started wondering why me carrying a baby could cause stuffs like that, I was so new to it and I felt I was missing out big time.

“Is it curable?” But I wasn’t the only clueless one around; Hero was just as clueless for someone whose wife had gotten pregnant before, he was pretty dumb.

“It’s not a disease my liege it’s just some symptoms associating to the state she’s in, it’ll pass-

“So there’s no way to stop it?” Hero sounded desperate now.

“I’m afraid not my liege you can only wait till she deliver, and considering the fast growth of the baby…I’m certain my liege you won’t have to wait long to welcome a new child into the royal household” The doctor smiled warmly and Hero sighed turning back at me though I still had an annoyed look on my face.

“My queen I will have to take some blood samples from you that way I can study and come up with a proper explanation to why you’re blue and why your baby is growing so fast” The doctor requested.

“I don’t really think that would be necessary, would it Hero?” I questioned Hero instead not wanting any more blood samples taken from me again.

“I think you should listen to the physician Claire-

“But I don’t want to have my blood drawn again” I complained but Hero moved back to sit next to me.

“We need to properly understand what is going on with you Claire, that way we’d be able to see if there’s any threat associated” Hero persuaded and the doctor kneeled next to me to draw my blood but I started to feel pretty uneasy as the doctor set to work, My eyes glowed bright purple as I felt the syringe sink into my arms, the first tube was drawn and the second was about to be drawn when a Ghafil ran in screaming for the doctor to be immediately seized.

“He’s an imposter he yelled” Before the doctor could move I immediately wrapped him up with strings of my force with my eyes still glowing brightly.

“You have a hell of explanation to do” I muttered while watching the doctor groaning hard as he struggled against the force that bounded him up.
