Episode 49-The hybrid

I stared down at the strange man hang upside down; it was figured out that he was a hybrid Ghafil, half human, half Ghafil…and it seems he was working for the humans, I mean working against the Ghafils. I have nothing against humans but they are taking everything a little too far…

“He’s a merchant…the government state what they needs he get it for them and get paid after” The head of the security team in the Ghafil hidden camp declared after thorough interrogation and t*****e on the man.

“You know what? I have a tracker on me, they’re gonna find this place and burn it to the ground-

“No, you wouldn’t do that…you’re one way team” I breathed standing up from where I sat and moving closely to him. Being an Hybrid is pretty cool for him at least he can appear human anytime he want to but that doesn’t mean the contacts won’t mark him one.

“You work alone, and you definitely didn’t tell anyone about the camp for one of three reasons I’m certain…you have an alien family, it will definitely hit on your conscience, two…you’re afraid if other people find this place you might miss your chance of hitting billions, three…you’re still half alien and could still be spotted and caught so right now you’re alone” I spoke softly and slowly and despite I wasn’t giving off any threatening vibe, he looked like he could s**t in his pants.

“Aren’t I right?” I questioned and he gulped down hard, looking very terrified.

“Humans are very predictable if you know them pretty well enough” I shrugged watching the purple light force play around my fingers while making an assertive stance that look a lot more threatening and I could tell it’s working seeing the intimidated look on the hybrid’s face.

“What’s his name?” I asked the chief security staff.

“Redmond Gasmen, people call him red” I watch as his eyes twitch at the mention of his name-

“You really didn’t think we aren’t gonna find out-

“What are you?” Red questioned and I smirked.

“Something like you-

“A hybrid-

“Just more…I’m the queen-

“I know that” He replied with a roll of his eyes.

“Thankfully” I replied and he huffed.

“You are different from the others, the way you speak, talk, walk, everything. You’re a hybrid too aren’t you?” I questioned.

“Maybe I am, maybe I’m not but you still need to be severely punished for wanting to sell me short…do you have any idea what you were gonna do-

“All they need was blood samples-

“Any idea what they wanted to use it for?-

“On a second note, they wanted you but I was gonna give them the blood samples…then make them come back for more, raise my bills a little-

“Oh, aren’t you a little confident?” The sudden anger I felt had my fingers sparking with electricity which caught me by surprise since I didn’t know I could even make electricity, I was still staring at my fingers while rubbing the edges together making more sparks. The Ghafils around me moved back staring at me in bewilderment and obviously looking a little bit terrified, I was carried away by my sudden ability that I kept rubbing the tips of my fingers until I sent a long line of electrical current off them and into the walls, which just disappeared into it until a curious Ghafil moved close an touched it, the shock he got had me immediately moving back as he started to shake and tremble tremendously as the current travel through me and I feared he might get electrocuted to death if I didn’t do something, I ran for him and immediately I touched him the current moved out of him and into my finger tips.

“What the f**k?” Red muttered slowly staring at me in bewilderment.

“You just electrified a brick wall” Red panicked as he started to struggled against the ropes that was used to tie him up, dangling upside down with a panic look on his face while struggling away from me while I slowly moved towards him wanting to touch him but I saw tears in his eyes and I withdrawn from me, muttering ‘please’.

“You will give us everything that we’ll need from you and if you hesitate for even a second…I promise you, I’ll make your life a living hell” I told him firmly and he nodded aggressively, I guess I really did scare him a lot.

“Claire” Hero came calling walking up to me while others just backed away from me.

“Hey” I smiled really glad he was back from addressing and welcoming the new Ghafils that had just joined us in the camp.

“Are you okay?” I couldn’t help asking as his expression reads worry.

“I think you should come with me” He suggested and we slowly moved out of the detainment compartment and to a place I don’t think I know very much off, passing by tiny hallways that could hardly take one person at once, but I kept walking with Hero until my curiosity got the best of me and I wanted so badly to know where we are going.

“Where are we going?” I questioned after about 10mins of walking after Hero in a terrible awkward silence.

“The medical compartments, the doctor in charge of your health is in one of the medic cubes and I think you really need to come see this” Hero simply replied without glancing back at me, but all of a sudden I got mad, my eyes flared purple and when we get to a bigger hallway I immediately pushed Hero to the walls staring deep into his eyes.

“I’ll really appreciate if you’re looking at me while you talk to me, it made me feel ugly if you aren’t” I’ve never see Hero that shocked before, I ignored the look on his face and lowered my mouth to his tasting him even though he was irresponsive, so I pressed more into him until I made him reciprocate and crave for me, then I slowly pulled away.

“We can go now” I told him and moved back.

“When doctor Kuba warned me of the sudden and weird mood changes and surprising attitude change, I never thought it’ll still come as a surprise” Hero muttered to himself as he took the lead again until we reached the medical department where Ghafil nurses where going up and down trying to attend to the sick Ghafils, they looked different to human nurses but one could still tell by their appearances. They had short gowns and an after dress that was longer than the short dress, they have tags on their chest and had belts that hold together the after dress and the inner dress they had in, most were in their alien form, few in human forms, they all pay respects and courtesy to us as I walked past them with Hero and into a mini lab, was it a lab? Yeah I think…I mean it’s got all those test tubes and Bunsen burner around, a lot of lab equipment and a chemical system set up and few chemicals boiling and also it could be a witch lair, a witch making concoctions, I almost laughed at my own thoughts, goddamnit I’ve gotten weirder since I got pregnant.

“Kuba” Hero called and a man appeared from behind a cabinet but he was an alien, in human form…he slowly transitioned back to an alien and walked up to us.

“Kuba is my friend Claire, he’s been living here with humans since I seized power from  my brother, we made the alteration of Ghafils genetic code together, that way any Ghafil intending to transition can simply transition without being a born defender, he’s a doctor and a scientist…an intelligent worker” Hero introduced the averagely tall alien, he look pretty handsome being an alien, he looked more human than most Ghafils-

“He looks hybrid” I declared after studying the doctor who quickly bow in respect-

“Yes, he’s being experimenting on himself a lot I guess” Hero replied.

“Experimenting on himself?” I exclaimed completely shocked.

“Just kidding, he hates making other people a test subjects so he use himself most times-

“What if things go wrong?” I questioned and the man slowly raised himself smiling brightly at me.

“And that’s why I always fight for things not to go wrong your highness, that I might get into trouble if an experiment goes wrong made me extra careful” Kuba confidently responded.

“My queen, you…are a fantastic specimen of evolution; you and the baby you’re carrying…are so special” Kuba made exaggerated gestures of raising his hands and putting so much enthusiasm as he spoke.

“I studied your blood samples and I must say, I haven’t seen anything quite like it. I traced back your family tree and I figured you have about three Ghafils from the extinct species in your family line and you gad great percentage of those genes…then you passed the liquid Ghafil stone into your system which immediately combined with your cells and hybridise them and making them quite unique. Right now all the traits present in the earlier generation of species and the present one had been fully unlocked in you…isn’t that just amazing” I felt really great hearing that from him.

“If we could replicate your DNA right now, we could create an army of special Ghafils” Until I hear him say that, even Hero feared for him as my eyes changed and I felt myself flared up in intense anger.

“What did you say?” I frowned staring dangerously at the doctor…
