 The next day, Elle felt better, so she was at the bus stop with Lizzie.   “I can’t believe you emailed her,” Elle said, bouncing up and down on her toes. “Have you gotten a reply yet?”  Lizzie shook her head and said, “It hasn’t even been twelve hours. Give the woman a chance to look at her emails.”  Elle grinned and said, “I’m just anxious. I’ve never known anyone who has talked to a real, live author before.”  “As opposed to a fake, dead one?” Lizzie joked.  Elle gave her a little push but didn’t say anything more since the bus pulled up.   They climbed up the steps and made their way to their usual seats in the middle of the bus. Lizzie sat next to the window while Elle sat closest to the aisle.   Elle nudged Lizzie and leaned close to whisper, “I see the Toxic Twosome are back
